I have never in my entire life met such a broken matchmaking or ranking system in any competitive game I've ever played compared to Halo, gears of war, battlefield, everything on the face of the planet that has a competitive scene is better than competitive matchmaking in destiny 2 I win two games and then I lose three or four because I get paired up against a full team that is way out of my skill base yes I understand you prioritize matchmaking quality but this is ridiculous in the past 4 days I have lost over 700 points and only gained 700 points see the problem here? I would love an admin or somebody to reply to this because this is ridiculous

Playerbase is way too low. It tries to put you with other players in the same rank, but it cant find enough, especially in the higher ranks. You'll be either facing the same people over and over and or facing Lower glory players.

1 AntwortenGame’s broken when your losing. Game’s GREAT when your winning. Ive yet to see someone complain when they WIN. Im not the greatest player and i have Lunas & Recluse. It can be done.
-
And fix the connections too. I'm sick of having one kill then booted to orbit saying my wifi is bad. But seriously the comp system needs a total rework and the people who say it's easy to get fabled were either carried or paid for it. Or they're extremely good.

I agree I guess. If you look at my comp history since I started again last week. I start off great having average players as teammates and opponents, so I figured it's been a while maybe the system needs to readjust my elo or something. Then once I get a few games in the matchmaking goes from tardy ... To Reeeeee-tardy. Players of like 10 to 20"skill levels" below mine in terms of Halo 3 ranking. Which I mind. To players who far exceed my abilities (or just have coms as a 3-4 stack)and my team are full of randies including myself . Which I don't necessarily mind but it can be agravating. 4stacks should only match other 4 stacks or 3+1rando and perhaps even 2 of 2 players but a full random squad is often just ridiculous. That said I usually don't mind as I like a challenge but to put 2 level 5's in my team was horrible. This is just for matchmaking btw, all the other stuff and this would be an endless whining post.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Chicken RICK: 8/13/2019 4:00:44 PMDude, just find a group of people for comp. that’s literally the solution. Playing solo isn’t fun if you REFUSE, to do this. It’s 100% your fault, not bungies you say “see the problem here” ITS YOUR PROBLEM GUY, USE YOUR SKULL
-
2 AntwortenIt would be tolerable if you didn’t lose rank on losses. Should be no gain loss but hey...streamers got stream 😐
-
I agree its even worse in gambit
-
And yall want raid matchmaking
-
Too many recovery teams in comp. They are probably just about all that’s left on competitive. Also, pvp clans dominate. Comp has a too small population to support “fair play,” in comp. If the entire destiny population played comp, this problem would be less relevant and probably more then half the population would have not forgotten. They need to pretty much find a way to entice a significant amount of people to comp, otherwise, this all you’ll get.

6 AntwortenNewsflash: Bungie doesn't care about PvP.
-
2 AntwortenLook at my last 5-10 comp games. I had to carry my team so hard in most of them that I’m developing lower back issues. SBMM NEEDS to be turned on in comp.
-
If you lose a game, it’s the matchmaking’s fault. If you lose a game after a fix to that, it’s your teammates fault. If you lose a game with everything completely balanced, it’s the games fault. I wish Bungie implements the changes asked for competitive so kids like you will finally run out of excuses and realize that you are the problem.

2 AntwortenI've been studying matchmaking, it's this. First 8 people of whatever their glory dividers are are put in, not only are they put in, but you're put in teams in the order you match make. so if you're a solo player and all a sudden it jumps to 4 then you're a solo with a 3 stack.

1 AntwortenUnless we get dedicated servers and region locking this is peak potential for PvP in the destiny franchise. An absolutely horrible experience with a very pathetic excuse of CBMM (that has never worked). But bungie 1)wont pay for them because theyre super cheap and only want to pad their wallets, they dont carr about your experience. And 2) wouldnt know how to keep them up and running even if they did because bungies collectice IQ is around 8.

Skill Based Matchmaking is the key to making Crucible a better experience for all players of all skill levels.

6 AntwortenI know what you mean, I try finding a LFG team to do comp and 50% want people at 2000+ glory or they are people who will get you to whatever rank for money. I genuinely cant find a team unfortunately for me and I'm mainly a PvE player... I don't think I'm that good in PvP so finding a group that will help me out without paying is almost impossible, I say almost as a few people lately have been telling me they will help ( they won't, already had a few check my stats and they weren't up to his standards) Regardless I'll have to trundle along until I can get to fabled ect.

4 AntwortenI’m not great at pvp, but it’s ridiculous the lack of progress I am making in comp. I played 12 matches and ended up at zero. Win one lose two over and over. I know, I should git gud. It’s just frustrating how I can’t make ANY progress due to losses.
-
10 Antworten- Plays solo - Knows solo is a pain in any "competitive" aspect of a game - Comes to the forums and complains - Repeat Step 1
Solo is a pain. Try finding a fireteam on LFG, it makes wonders
Comp in Destiny is never going to about skill, considering all the broken stuff there is. If you want something competitive in Destiny, play scrims or tourneys
-
6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Doctor_Roidberg: 8/13/2019 7:08:21 AMCompetitive matchmaking is based on your glory rank. If you’re at 1,500 glory, you’re going to match people who are around 1,500 glory. Yes, there’s smurfs who drop their glory to play at low level Comp. They’re unavoidable. But it’s better than if Comp was CBMM, and you matched with people casually playing at 300, or 5,300. Or SBMM, where everyone is lagging. Comp matchmaking is fine. Coming from a guy who’s hit Fabled solo queueing three times.
-
Comp matches you with others at your glory rank...skill is irrelevant. If you want to do well, get 3 other guys, even a team of average players is capable of fabled, and it's not that hard even .
-
3 AntwortenYou’re on Xbox. The comp scene is easy as hell here, if you know how to use a sniper or hold a point, you should easily be able to get fabled.
-
Comp sucks. The best thing to do is leave the match as soon as it starts.
-
Here’s the thing This game isn’t competitive whatsoever when there’s things like heavy, super mods, supers lasting years, no dedicated servers, etc.
-
You must have not played a lot of halo
-
1 Antwortenlol You might not realize it, but you just requested 100 "get gud" posts from the sweaty SG ape brigade. PvP in this game has never been great. I have very slowly improved since I started playing, but you need to be alive to practice your skills, and there is no gradient of difficulty. What hope does a new player have against full teams running pinnacle weapons, full super mods, enhanced hand cannon targeting etc, etc? But even now that I have all that stuff myself, I only get a couple of minutes a match to hone skills, then spend the rest running from supers and heavy ammo. I have no chance to ever get the pinnacle weapons myself until I improve, but where can I do this without getting insta-killed?
