I was just completely banned for 2 months for doing nothing wrong.
So i was trying to get the precision hand cannon head shots for the Luna Quest on competitive and as soon as i leave the game i get the image above!? I have been an avid Destiny player ever since D1 and have never had a single issue with my internet before.
So when seeing this message i am not only frustrated but i am also just visibly upset as i was really excited for SOH event and building up the Armour to get a 2.0 Armour set in time for shadowkeep. Well all that has just gone completely out the window.
I am a PS4 player and live in the UK. The only way i could think of this happening was if i was being matched with people over in the USA and my connection was stretched.
I might just just throw in the towel with this game when 50% is locked away, i can participate in the events and all my progress for Luna Howl is completely pointless.
I've read the link they have about restrictions and know they don't comment on or overturn restrictions so i am royal screwed! i just needed to vent.
I doubt anyone could help me but anything is better then nothing.

That does not mean high bandwidth, it means high stability = low latency, zero packet loss, and extremely low jitter. Bandwidth is required on top of that, but most people should not have an issue with the bandwidth requirement. [b]Additionally [/b]... if this restriction is for 2 months, that means you were already warned for poor internet previously, as the first restriction is always 2 weeks. [b]Two months is the second restriction[/b] ... [u]the third is permanent[/u], so you may want to start investigating all aspects of your connection with your ISP. [i]Your Connection is everything from your console to the game service; not just in your home[/i]. until you fix things, I suggest staying out of PvP ... you can still play PvE

Have you, by any chance, [i]read[/i] the message on your screen? [spoiler] Restrictions are placed manually on accounts that are deemed to be repeatedly ruining game experiences for others in PVP, or gambit. Restrictions [i]will not[/i] be overturned until their duration has passed. Use this time to stabilise and improve your network connection so that you stop harming games for other players. The first restriction will last two weeks. If you do not fix your connection, the next will be two months. If you still persist in ruining the game for others, you will be permanently banned from Destiny 2. Please be considerate of others and work on fixing your connection, to avoid further repercussions.[/spoiler]

If you are on a 2 month, that would mean that you had a 2 week and did not correct your connection issues. Here is bungie's post on the connection based restrictions.
