As far as the event goes it's new to me so I will check it out, but Tess being the only vendor this company makes sure is well taken care of for 2 years now is actually sad. I get this company needs to make money but they pull the same nonsense every time with the events, but it's getting worse each time. When does respect for Bungie's player base forking out more money for destiny more then most games people play set in???
We all know the streamers will be happy, but as someone said already when Tess has more items to purchase then what we can earn in the game. That's low...
Edit: I got a question that should be answered but everyone knows it won't be answered. Why have Dmg come on this forum and post that Dawning in y1 using Tess wasn't meant to be endgame content?
Then after when no one could buy anything or have enough time to collect certain items with the event Bungie change things. They said they've learned from their "mistake" to where players can collect things like candy that no one cares about anymore and now Bungie is back at doing the same thing but worse then it was with Dawning???
Eververse
We recognize that the scales are tipped too far towards Tess at the moment, and Eververse was never intended to be a substitute for end game content and rewards. So, we’ll be making three changes for upcoming Seasons:
We’re shifting the balance of new content in favor of activity rewards over Bright Engrams. This includes adding Ghosts, Sparrows, and ships (to date found only in Bright Engrams) to achievement reward pools.
We'll provide a gameplay path to earn Bright Engrams and all contained rewards (including Event Engrams).
We’ll give players more direct purchase options and make adjustments to Bright Engrams to allow players to get the items they want more often.
It seems that the scale tipped again, but I guess saying things are subject to change justifies that right?
What is wrong with this company? Is lying their motto now that they can be called a compulsive liar?

right on the mark. I came back because I heard so many great things about forsaken and the annual pass, and it was on sale for $40 bucks for everything through the current state of the game. This solstice event has reaffirmed why I quit in the first place. Fk bungie.
-
If Bungle wants money why don't they earn it by putting out killer content and expanding the game instead of this reskinned half=baked crap they are doing.
-
Do you mean like the Halo franchise that made 5 billion?
-
These idiots aren't even in the same league
-
How much did you pay to get to legend?
-
Yeah, the higher-ups and Activision caused a lot of key devs to leave this company. I don't like this new Bungie at all. Creat less in-game content but pay for the same price if not more.
-
Nah. They just shoved that shit into an RNG blender with some Fenchurch -blam!- and Eververse armpit hairs, hit puree, put it in a shaker bottle, and make us believe it's good for us....
-
They kind of do that already, it's just the smart ones don't fall for their nonsense. To bad there are too many that do...
-
Pretty much. Speaking of which, you tried their improved, "Throw Money At the Screen", flavor yet? 🤣😂

You have to stop thinking that you're in charge and start thinking that you're having a dance. We used to think we're smart [...] but nobody is smarter than the internet. [...] One of the things we learned pretty early on is 'Don't ever, ever try to lie to the internet - because they will catch you. They will de-construct your spin. They will remember everything you ever say for eternity.' You can see really old school companies really struggle with that. They think they can still be in control of the message. [...] So yeah, the internet (in aggregate) is scary smart. The sooner people accept that and start to trust that that's the case, the better they're gonna be in interacting with them. Gabe Newell said this once and it holds true. The problem is when your fans can't accept they are being lied to and have no standards at all. When you sell to people whos standards are nothing and follow a brand then you can do anything you want cause your base has no spine to question and fight back.

So much this. I remember this quote and things got so much better after this. Eververse was still to much the center of attention, but at least it was a little less, and the stuff actually felt like it was reasonably obtainable. There was hope that things would get better and stay better. And now over time very thing has been undone. And yet every time Bungie would try to go backwards, people like me would say no this is wrong, don't you remember what happened before, we are heading back that way. And what would the majority say? No we aren't, everything is fine, these changes are good, Bungie needs money, pay money. It is hilariously sad so see it all lead here once again, and unless something more drastic is done once again, shadowkeep is going to be even worse.
-
I feel like they are strong-arming me to bypass the grind and just purchase the glows with real money which is vindictive and predatory
-
Read that back to yourself and wake up. No one is strongarming you, this is a game. You can earn it in game (bright dust) or buy it (silver) or leave it simple as that. It's a glow for fs sake
-
You have a month ....you don’t have to spend real money I’m not?
-
Bungie should change their name to Bungievision.
-
Nah I'm not sure if Actvision deserves that level of disrespect. At least they got away from Bungie
-
Idk, it seems they let the animal out of the cage that has been locked up for years.
-
I'll bet a month after Shadow Keep drops, you'll revise that name change to "HeyEAHoldMyBeer."
-
I hate how the ‘fixes’ are always just more ways to get things from eververse. ‘We’ll be adding more ways to get bright dust’ or ‘increase bright engram drops’. No one wants that, like, eververse has legitimately become the most endgame vendor there is and with the new updates it will continue, with brightdust being the only valuable currency and sought after currency. Why isnt tesses loot (assuming bungie isnt lying that they want to basically do away with tess 🤔🤔) shared around vanguard or gambit activities. Thatd make people actually care about playing those modes. Also why does tess get unarguably the most unique cool shit in the game, but everything else gets reskinned trash designed by an autist with a crayon? Hmm, really makes you think. I doubt it’ll get better with shadow keep.
-
Not surprising you know nothing about autism and use it to demean, given the low level of education or intelligence (or both?) you exhibit. "Tesses" means multiple people named Tess. It should also be capitalized, and that's just the tip of that grammatical nightmare iceberg.
-
So you going to talk about my actual point or keep acting autistic lol

Bearbeitet von MONKEYGOTRABIES: 8/2/2019 4:34:22 AMI have aspergers, you stupid ignorant twit, and contrary to what you think, autistic is not a synonym for ret@rd. My IQ is in the top 1%, I was a state and national honor scholar, I had the second highest sophomore portfolio review score in the history of the art program at one of the best universities for art on the east coast, I served eight years in Iraq and Afghanistan after 9/11, and I started my own business making six figures annually. Meanwhile, you have the languages skills of an 85 IQ ten-year-old. Maybe you should google images of "autistic art" before choosing autistic as your go-to for "shitty art design." And maybe you could not be a garbage person who uses autism as a term of derision, especially given how subpar your capabilities are.
