So we move into d2 and titans get shoulder charge one almost all subclasses and hunter still have cool stuff like knifes and smokes but warlock melee’s got completely nerfed to the point where they are completely useless compared to other classes
Can you Bring back warlock melees
Edit:doing the most damage doesn’t mean it’s the best melee like look at low rate of fire shotguns or slow firing rockets launchers they do a lot of damage at once but then will get beaten by faster guns or in this case Melee’s
Warlocks has the range to compensate will the slow melee and to compete with other melee’s but now it’s a low rate of fire shotgun with no range to it at all
That’s why they need that range
Let me add a little more
Warlocks get pretty screwed when it comes down to nerfs and buffs
Remember nova warp when they completely nerfed it into the ground but good thing they buffed it but when it came to one eyed mask and spectral blades they barely did crap to them, like seriously bungie favors hunters and titans a lot or that’s what it really feels like

5 AntwortenYou have a void melee that pushes enemies back into walls, you have a healing grenade, you have a melee that chains, one that travels, one that burns, one that gives you increased reload and other stuff, and one that gives you devour. Warlocks are fine

7 AntwortenFun fact. Even though warlocks have the same base range in their melees as hunters and titans now, they still have the same melee speed from D1. So in a melee fight warlocks will always lose if they punch at the same time as a hunter or titan

Hunters throwing knife should 1 shot in the head + a new 1 shot back stab passive for void middle tree if invis is active, warlocks should get drastically increased melee range, and titans arc subclass middle tree should 1 shot.

How about giving dawnblade a fire ball that does dot?Voidwalker hades some nice melees so ehh,give the palatines back something similar to pocket sniper where getting a melee kill increases range and damage on the next melee.

3 AntwortenLmfao what a joke .. Hunters have a god damn knife and still lose melee battles .. I win most melees on titan or warlock .. On hunter I pray a teammate runs by and aim assist pulls the enemy melee away from me sometimes 😂

2 AntwortenWarlock main here, yes, MAIN, 80% of my playtime is on a Warlock. Warlock melee is TOP tier, yes Titans have shoulder charge, we have Handheld Supernova, yes they can get it back using Skullfort, we can use Contraverse Hold, not as strong, but worth using. Hunters, their melees are cool...that's about it, being cool is useless if it's not efficient, I am not saying they have bad melees, but compared to range of Stormcaller's melees? They are worthless. I have had so many encounters (low tier player) where Stormcaller melee is what saved me with it's Chaperone level range. Yes, it's possible that in higher tiers it's much worse for Warlocks, but in my tier, it's top tier. I am open to discussion.

As long as they don't have that arc melee from D1. Good lord, I remember getting mapped by it even after they nerfed it.

I’m moving to hunter because I don’t like the changes coming to warlock in shadowkeep I think it’s fine lots of range but not lots of lunge/snap on compared to titans which I think have the most lunge but least range

That isn't a good reason to completely rework them. Maybe a few buff to some of them, but not much needs to be done. To save people the trouble of inspecting my profile, I'm a Warlock main.
