Community Gambit Lumina Solution
How about some Lumina love? Keep an eye out for Guardians giving away invasion kills.
How it works:
When you invade start dancing until they kill you. Message the other team to return the favor. Prolong the match by not killing the PE. More invasions = Quest Step done in no time.
Take that, silly Gambit Lumina quest step!
Edit: love the salty tears of tryhards. If your sole source of pride is having a weapon someone else doesn’t in a game you have serious life issues. My Luna’s howl doesn’t make me feel good because others don’t have it. Grow up.

I had such a traumatising time getting the invader kill, it took me a long time to figure out you need to spawn kill him and it wasn't glitches, I might actually do this for others today

2 AntwortenSolution?! Problem is not the quest, but mentality of some players: "I have to collect every single in-game item or I am doomed". Not healthy. Or you could at least be patient for a few weeks before you get the new item by doing the quest as it was intended. Stupid kids.

1 AntwortenIf this doesn’t work, just use Chaos Reach for Warlocks, Thundercrash for Titans, and Golden Gun or Blade Barrage for Hunters. Set yourself up away from the rest of the team when you know the enemy is about to invade, and then move for the only area that isn’t being occupied. The Invader will be there, and all you have to do is super.

3 AntwortenOr, just play a single match of Quickplay. Got the guardian kills step in a single match. The quest doesn't specifically say to kill guardians in Gambit. It just says to kill Guardians...

SMH. Is this what today’s gamer had turned into? The very idea of putting forth a little effort is so intimidating that you have to resort to asking other people to not play so you complete a quest step? Why even play?

it wouldn’t surprise me if you get a ban, but then again there are so many moss heads who think this is ok, because they suck at it. the queststep isn’t that hard. I can easily do it with a legendary sword (to block) and a primary weapon. if you can‘t do that you can easily kill an invader with exotic heavy weapons like truth, blacktalon and more...

Funny how you only need to deny a single invasion in gambit. The other parts can be done in other activities.

15 AntwortenOk, after having finished the lumina quest on release day.... Its not that difficult, at all. This was by far the easiest quest we've had, i suck at pvp and managed the handgun kills portion in about 6 games. Friendly HC kills count toward progression as well and theres no death penalty. As for the gambit part i mean, truth. Its that easy. It doesnt even have to be a spawn kill or a kill within a certain time frame, you just gotta kill the invader before they kill a teammate which is turthfully very easy to accomplish. On the orbs part just farm EPs with a masterwork weapon. Since EPs are part of the quest everyones farming them so it took me about 3 levels to get around 30ish orbs. Everyone made this out to be impossible but this quest is so easy you can finish it in less than 8hrs without much effort at all. But i still agree, putting pvp steps in a pve oriented gun is kinda stupid and pointless, then if you know the lore behind rose/lumina it makes it even worse. But still, id do this quest 100 times before i went through TLW, thorn, malfeseance ect ect even 1 more time
