Community Gambit Lumina Solution
How about some Lumina love? Keep an eye out for Guardians giving away invasion kills.
How it works:
When you invade start dancing until they kill you. Message the other team to return the favor. Prolong the match by not killing the PE. More invasions = Quest Step done in no time.
Take that, silly Gambit Lumina quest step!
Edit: love the salty tears of tryhards. If your sole source of pride is having a weapon someone else doesn’t in a game you have serious life issues. My Luna’s howl doesn’t make me feel good because others don’t have it. Grow up.

I did this yesterday several times when I invaded. I just stood there and took rockets to the face. During the same game, the other team invaded snd I ran over for the easy kill,....only to have them pop their supers on me multiple times. I guess they never learned the meaning of reciprocation. So, today I just camped with my Truth until the invasion came. I wasn’t going to take any chances, and my “charity” was all used up. Got it done in 2 matches.

I played 1 game of Gambit tonight for the quest. All of the invaders were serious about the game and none let up. So, I decided to use Truth and it will seek those -blam!- out like crazy! I got the one kill I needed for the quest. Then after a slew of invaders, one stood out and he was dancing. Since I already got my kill, I let another of my teammates get the kill instead. To that guardian, thank you for making someone’s quest a little easier. In turn, I went and invaded and danced until someone noticed and killed me. Pay it forward, Guardians! Pay it forward.

LOL this solution is for litle kids who have zero patience and want every thing immediately. Don't ruin Gambit with this for those players who still enjoying playing it.

2 AntwortenI tried doing this and it didn't work. I tried messaging people and it still didn't work. I've gotten the kill about five times in the last three hours but it's not registering. I'm just going to give up at this point

i got lucky with the invader step so to any one that sees my gamertag (same as my bungie.net user name) ill run to the bank so you can get the medal

10 AntwortenUmmm. I got the kill on first match, 1st invader. I used Izanagis Burden with 4 round perk activated. Sniped hunter mid jump. So no special cheese needed.

The salty tryharders you refer to are using two modem techniques to get all pinnacles in minutes, and bungie has no alert out in place for public games with 1200 kills, or say they know but don’t do shit bc these players support their game in many ways. Pathetic.

1 AntwortenI got mine in the 1st match I tried. Hung around the bank, and popped my dawnblade the second the alarm went off. Just gotta play a bit selfish I guess. Tried to let the other team get one. I emote sat right next to their bank and they all ran away for 15 seconds. FFS.

I can see people start to troll the quest by invading as bubble Titan popping bubble right as you invade and waste the first 10 seconds without breaking a sweat

You know.. I thought this step would take forever.. I got it on my first match right at the end. I clutched it with TRUTH. I then received a very immature and mean comment from my teammate saying I stole his kill.. I couldn't believe I knocked it out that fast,literally just as the meatball was about to go down we got invaded and that was mine!

I did my part and invaded and emoted. Right after I got killed I saw the guardian pull up his ghost so I know he was checking his quest 👍 Feels good to help others when possible.

3 AntwortenPeople are awful. I had several matches where the other team would not invade. Finally had a match where a guy invaded and started dancing...I returned the favor.

I would be down for it. I think the sign that you're going to do it would be the blue sit emote for your class. It's an emote that everyone has, so it'll be recognizable.
