TL;DR
On September 17, 2019:
- All Eververse armor (new and armor you’ve already acquired!) is being converted into Universal Ornaments
- Universal Ornaments can be attached to any newly acquired Legendary armor
- Bright Dust is going to come from doing bounties, not dismantling things you spent money on
- Eververse items can now be pulled from your Collections with Glimmer/Legendary Shards instead of Bright Dust
Before September 17, 2019:
- Dismantle all of your unused Eververse items to maximize your Bright Dust reserves

If Tess got lost in the infinite forest, would anyone go looking for her?
-
2 AntwortenSo exactly what all will your bright dust be able to buy once this change is mad? Anything different?

4 AntwortenGame's still trash and broken - with nothing meaningful to do - let's update the cash-grab twice, gotta make sure we get more money!

33 AntwortenYou sheeple really need to stop instantly praising Bungie, especially when it comes from Luke smith. Your not doing yourself or the game any favours. They haven’t done anything to earn that trust or praise. You don’t think about the bigger picture, about how it will effect other aspects of the game. All this is right now is marketing and PR. Wait until things are in game and we get hands on then you can decide

1 Antworten
Bright Dust is going to come from doing bounties, not dismantling things you spent money on
It already does come from bounties. Why are you mentioning this as if it's an improvement? Of -blam!-ing course I wanna get bright dust from dismantling duplicates and things I don't want. At this point you pretty much have to in order to afford all of the shit that's in the Eververse and NOT in Bright Engrams where they -blam!-ing should be. Why the -blam!- are you doing this? There had better be a VERY -blam!-ing good reason for this stupid -blam!-ing nonsense, because I've had about all I can take of this game and its constant Eververse shit-blam!-ery.

1 AntwortenWow, nuthuggers out in force. Changes, on the face of it, seem ok. But then you must consider...and I mean really look back at Bungo's historic and current handling of Destiny, and EV... This is greedy Bungo we are talking about. Not classic Bungie, but greed-driven Bungo. If you think for one second that the changes that are being implemented have not been analysed to within an inch of their lives, and that said analysis has definitively shown that the changes will bring about more £$E, then you need your head examined.

Transmog is great, but I'm not too keen on the bright dust changes. Why not do both? Maybe reduce how much you get from stuff that you don't want and give a larger amount for bounties?

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Harumi: 6/20/2019 6:10:53 PM
- Bright Dust is going to come from doing bounties, not dismantling things you spent money on
Weird one. Bright Dust already comes from Eververse contracts. And dismantling Eververse items acquired from engrams. By saying so, you seem to be considering that either Eververse contracts giving Bright Dust are going to be deleted or that there will be some engram changes (maybe even their removal), or both. Neither of these two possibilities is mentioned in full details. So that kinda sounds not detailed enough.
- Universal Ornaments can be attached to any newly acquired Legendary armor
But what about the earlier Forsaken equipment? Or the Black Armory Season's items? Won't they be getting that ornament slot? And what about good-looking armor not from Eververse? Will we just be further raising its power level through synthesis if we like how it looks? There are also beautiful armor pieces among the Curse of Osiris and Warmind ones, but they're not Eververse, and they still have worse perks on them. We need more certainty...

Withholding judgement until the other shoe drops. I already pick Tess's contracts as part of my routine when I'm in the tower. Color me jaded but there is a hook here we aren't being told.

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von PilksUK: 6/19/2019 9:05:27 PMTurning armour into Universal Ornaments is cool but the bright dust changes...You will have to be stupid to not see why you are making these changes if you play every night you most likely getting around 300+ bright dust from breaking things down by removing that and shifting the only sources to bounty's and other things you control you control the flow of bright dust and can reduce the amount we earn thus in turn making buying silver all the more tempting....
-
23 AntwortenCores still in infusion, then still not playing. In my opinion Bright Dust only coming from Bounties instead of Eververse Engram items dismantled only means Bungie are attempting to limit the availability of bright dust within the game so to control people’s ability to directly purchase (using bright dust) from Eververse those items which haven’t dropped, which in theory will increase the potential real money revenue as people resort to Silver for those elusive items.

Would be cool, if we had all armour become ornaments when they're in the collections, shame to see the old raid gear get forgotton when it looks so cool 😭😭
-
Looks good to me. Man you guys have been killing it lately. I don't get to play as much as I would like but when I do I am having a BLAST. Excited to see what is coming this fall.

}( PLEASE READ ){.- I think to make reckoning more rewarding and relevant agian, the year one trials of the nine gear can be added to the loot pool as randomly rolled weapons and armor to make reckoning feel exclusive and worth our time agian, opulence has shown us the worthwhile original gear can work and since there is literally no way to get the old trials loot, I feel this would be a great way to give a chance to players who weren’t here for year one or didn’t get their hands on all the gear to get a swing at that gear and refresh an underutilized activity

I like the changes to how bright dust is spent. It would make me sick to add up how many thousands of bright dust I've spent since Y1 to get every exotic sparrow I have (all 53, 10 on each character and 23 in the vault) to drop with fast summoning. Also, love the Y1 Eververse armor, thanks for this new ornament idea

2 AntwortenSo if i buy shadow keep does that mean if i decide to play on my warlock which i haven't used yet doesn't have to replay all the previous story missions including forsaken?
-
Milestones should grant bright dust to ik you guy's say bounties which is good to but milestones would make it better to. 😎🔥👍
-
Cool like the changes
-
This is a really good improvement 😅
-
these are good news, actually. I especially appreciate that you emphasised dismantling stuff we don't need so that we can get the most out of the changes
-
2 AntwortenGive us a better way to dismantle stacks of shaders. That’d be swell. Bungie gave them all the same value, no more rng range. So why can’t we dismantle 100 at a time for example? Why is this so difficult for Bungie but games 20 years old can accomplish this? This also applies to buying. Why can’t we buy stacks of 100 from spider? Games have been doing this since the 90s, why can’t we in destiny?
-
Like the sound of the changes
-
I have to know about the new armor mod system. Does year 2 gear still have a place among the upcoming armor ‘meta’?or is it gonna be useless like year 1 gear?
-
1 AntwortenDo this Ornament thing to all Year 1 gear.
