TL;DR
On September 17, 2019:
- All Eververse armor (new and armor you’ve already acquired!) is being converted into Universal Ornaments
- Universal Ornaments can be attached to any newly acquired Legendary armor
- Bright Dust is going to come from doing bounties, not dismantling things you spent money on
- Eververse items can now be pulled from your Collections with Glimmer/Legendary Shards instead of Bright Dust
Before September 17, 2019:
- Dismantle all of your unused Eververse items to maximize your Bright Dust reserves

These are really, really good changes. I wonder if they've thought about also giving us the option to pull gear out of our Collections as Ornaments. like when you go to pull the gear out, you can choose between pulling it as a regular piece of gear, or as an Ornament.

4 AntwortenReducing sources of dust to put behind, grindwall etc, incentivising silver purchaces a bit more in the same move, nice. :/

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Caerys: 6/19/2019 8:38:31 PMFantastic, but now I have more questions. Is the Eververse armor sets the only ones that get to be xmogs? Some of us still have those Trials of the Nine armor sets stuffed in our vaults. Probably the armor sets you got from Ikoras meditations as well. Will those become xmogs?

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Erijian: 6/19/2019 8:38:23 PM
newly acquired Legendary armor
Does this mean all non-Shadowkeep armor pieces are incompatible with the new Eververse ornament system?

This is the first thing Luke Smith does that make me happy since "Throw your money to the tv screen" thingy...

It's nice that we don't need to buy things to get bright dust, but we already have bounties for those. This also means that I won't get bright dust from free bright engram items that drop through playing. This also seems like a way to save on vault space without actually expanding the vault. Overall, a decent change.

Luke, you have earned my respect back for you. Congrats! These are some very good changes that will definitely get much acclaim.

2 Antwortenso i can dismantle all my eververse armor and i can have them as ornaments for free come fall?
-
A very welcome change guys. This is this first time I’m feeling you’re stepping in the right direction in a long time. Show us Bungie again, leave the Bungievision in the past.

A very welcomed change.

1 AntwortenSo can we dismantle our eververse armor we have in vaults etc for dust?
-
Alright this is tolerable changes to Tess as they prevent pay to win armor and make collecting new items or grabbing old items from collections much easier to get. I respect this. In fact I’m proud of it. Good job guys really this might be the best Tess update we’ve received since Tess was introduced way back then. Now please Can you maybe I don’t know Make a better infusion Economy where I’m not required to use materials needed for things like masterworking gear or leveling up vendors. I don’t mind it taking 5k glimmer and 20 shards for every infusion regardless of its +1 on a cloak or +5 on a shotgun. I also don’t mind the mod system I think it’s been great so far. Can’t wait to see armor 2.0 I do have a question come Shadowkeep So with Destiny 2 new light will the forsaken supers be available to all players or only players who paid for forsaken?

This, I like this. Thank you.
-
Great changes. Thanks 👍

Are current sets of armor being left behind when 2.0 comes out? Are year 2 armor gonna become obsolete?
-
3 AntwortenWhat happens to Bright Engrams if you already have all of year 1 Eververse cosmetic items?
