Wow, just wow! The new Quest steps introduced for earning armour are near impossible!
At first I thought it was a good idea, after an hour or so the 1st quest was done and I claimed my boots. Another hour or so and I claimed my gauntlets. Five hours later yes FIVE hours later I am less than 10% complete on step three.
By my calculations that means it should take me 50 hours to complete this part of the quest! Oh well, its a good job crucible quests (like pinnacle weapon quests) complete account wide so once you unlock them on one character they unlock on all of them. WAIT, WHAT? The Iron Banner quests are unique to each character!!! So I have to do this THREE chuffin times???
Out of curiosity, anyone know what steps four & five are? Not sure I can be bothered to find out myself!!
Guess I am never going to have the time to unlock this gear so really, what is the chuffin point of Iron Banner? ANSWER - THERE IS NO CHUFFIN POINT!!!
PLEASE UPVOTE IF YOU AGREE
-
Really? It took me six hours to complete the entire step??
-
6 AntwortenThe last step is garbage, unless you have six man fire team that can three matches out of five you only only get 2% per win, I dont mind a bit of a grind but I'm a solo player and that is too much work for a freaking helmet

Honestly, the most annoying part of this IB isn't the quest itself...its that you cannot get any other armor than the ones earned from the quest. You are literally locked out from attaining the full set until the questline is finished. I know that because I collected 20 some odd packages, and every single armor piece that came out were the boots....which correlates to my quest status, since I have not attained the gauntlets.

Pvp... lol
-
I’m not a fan of it. I grinded for all the ornaments and armor in year 1. There is no way I can even get one character done this week because of work.
-
Yea whoever came up with that damn grenade bounty bs needs taken out back to the woodshed and had common sense explained to them. Hunter grenades are useless.
-
1 AntwortenTo be fair you by yourself don’t need to make the abilities kill. I’m making progress with my grenades when I never tossed the darn things cause a hunter void grenade is basically a marshmallow and not effective unless you throw a tether or use up a smoke to make sure they stand still and die
-
1 AntwortenIt is a grind, but it’s much better with a team that knows to go for nade kills. I managed to get to 52% in about 4 hours with a few clanmates. And that might even be slow. The guy that was delivering most was a hunter with tripmines believe it or not, and he ended his night at 82%.

1 AntwortenFINALLY, it pays to be a Warlock in pvp. Handheld supernova counts towards grenade and melee progress. Suck it Hunters 😆

1 AntwortenI’m just so sick and tired of F*cking control I’m so sick of it

6 Antworten-blam!- crucible. -blam!- grenade kills and -blam!- Iron Banner. Wasted so much of my time grinding this piece of shit mode waiting waiting waiting for my grenade energy to fill up only for ALL hunter grenades to -blam!-ing suck ass. Meanwhile I get -blam!-ing one shot by Erentil, Gungorna’s Almighty cuntcannon, or Handheld Supercunt. Take away for Bungo; Hunter grenades suck, should have multi charges or buff their damage if you’re going -blam!-ing insist I need to get 480000 grenade kills in -blam!-ing crucible. I literally just deleted The IB Quest for armour, zero regrets. -blam!- that mode. Never touching it again.
-
Yeah I agree, 4 some odd hours into step three and I am at 33%. Seems like it could be a little lower.
-
Ur a -blam!-. You and your team have to just dominate. If you get smashed every match then you are going to take long getting it done
-
Honestly, I don’t even wanna play it because of my shit rng. Just found out the grenade launcher is decent so I dumped all 400 tokens I’d saved up from when they stopped putting new shit in and didn’t get a single one. I even swapped to a char I hadn’t done quest steps on to have a smaller loot pool 😔

1 AntwortenThey should have known what the average grenade kills are per game. Every other step on all 5 bounties take a maximum of 10 games- easy. That grenade step takes about 75 games. Wutchoo doin’ Bungie?
-
1 AntwortenI'm level 30, and the level advantages had me hitting 15 to the head with mida. I gave up lol
-
Best part, if you don't do it at all, you'll get only weapons to drop!
-
I mean.... i'm this far into the aids i'm going to finish one character and that's it lol.
-
Its a seasonal quest?
-
1 AntwortenIt's Day 2 of a SEASON LONG quest.
-
3 AntwortenAnyone ever think a lot of these type of dumb posts are from either people paid by other companies or people from other companies? Honestly, people can't be this whiney.
-
Warlocks definitely have it easiest for grenade kills. Ordinance mod+contraverse hold+ nova warp = easy money.
-
20 AntwortenMaybe you’re just shit
-
Most people playing to get a god roll swarm of the raven, not to do the quest as it dilutes the loot pool the further you get in the quest lol.
-
If it’s the wins one I heard you can go on a win streak then back out of matchmaking to cheese it very quickly.

6 AntwortenGet a grip, it's not that hard at all. It took 10 hours or so to complete the quest on my Warlock, doing it solo. I consider that to be relatively slow progress too. If you actually try to complete the quest steps actively instead of hoping that they'll finish themselves over the course of a few games you might yield better results. Also, this quest is for an entire season, that's 3 weeks over the course of the next 3 months. It's not designed for everyone to finish immediately. I welcome the change, it's fantastic and with the new enhanced rolls on the armour there finally feels like a real PvP endgame grind.
