Strike Abuse
Exploiting the lost sectors during a strike, causing randos to need to drive the entire way to the beginning, is selfish.
This is the reason we do not have matchmade raids and nightfalls, because guardians like this will continue to abuse the activity, and make it useless to matchmake.
The solution for this is the LFG for strikes.
That is what destiny community has created...not only do we not have matchmaking nightfalls or raids, but the one activity that we do have matchmaking in for vanguard gets shit on by the community.
Can you be any more smooth brained?
This is why we cant have nice things.
(If I see someone going for nade kills I the legit strike...I set the enemies up FOR THEM, seriously, I dont mind, I gemini jester roll, punch roll punch roll,
Keep everything dazed and grouped.

For those doing it honestly not only for efficiency but to stop yourselves getting pulled into the strike just form a 3 man and queue until you find it. On the other hand for those who aren't doing it and want to do the strike I have two thing. 1. When you find a darkness zone blow yourself up or something to pull them through, yes they probably will quit, but good luck to them finding another corrupted. (Took my group 45 minutes to...) 2. Though this is true, honestly strikes are easy to solo. I even play on my hunter (my most squishy character) and easily either just run past everything or quickly wipe each pack of ads. Just my two cents though. Have a good one! Quick Edit: You also usually just get paired with more people if they do end up leaving, just wait a few minutes and you should have both slots filled.

3 AntwortenI truly understand the point and frustration of your post, but your simple solution is to wipe in a darkness zone. I was farming lake of shadows for fusion kills and got pulled thru quite a few times outta my lost sector.

1 AntwortenIf someone loads in and just goes to the blind well, get to a no respawn zone as quickly as possible.... and die. Then just let them get pulled forward from the wipe. Haha.

At least this time it was with people actually doing the strike though. [spoiler]also the second time I started going through the strike and died at a non respawn area, and it pulled them out of the blind well to where i was! Lol. It felt real good. Then I left the strike.[/spoiler]

How many people do the blind well during crucible ? none because you can't. easy soluton is automatically teleport to teammates when your more than 50m or 100m away and put up those fog wall blocking things behind so people can't turn around and go back into the blind well.

1 AntwortenI can see how the blind well farm is bothersome but the lost sector method is not. Once you make it to the boss, which any self respecting guardian should be able to do solo, your mates get pulled in and you get your completion.

2 AntwortenI don’t do this but I also don’t understand this. If you start a strike and you see people doing this, just go about your way, eventually you’ll pull them forward. Can you not do a strike by yourself? We are way above light level at this point. Since this damn quest came out, I don’t think I’ve ever started a strike with people with me, they go straight towards the nearest lost sector, doesn’t matter what strike I get. I just go about my way. It’s not that serious.

1 AntwortenNah bruh. The lack of a loot pool causing the “developers” to make absolutely -blam!- quotas for strike/ crucible/ any activity really “Bounties” is the issue my man. Really if we dove into the current loot pool head first they would have to put up warning posters because somebody would break their neck.

It's hard also when youtubers are telling people about the glitch. At least some of them have the courtesy though to suggest doing it in a fireteam to not wreck others enjoyment of the game. I did mine legit and didn't run into too many people doing this.

6 AntwortenReport people not engaging in the activity for sabotage, then get yourself to a darkness zone and throw yourself to your death. It counts as a death for them and they'll lose progress. If I get the corrupted and they're in the blind well and I can't progress, then they get a report for game exploitation as well as sabotage.

9 AntwortenYeah, it is a two way street. I am sure said players are somewhat selfish for the kills, but that is why they go elsewhere. So they are not ruining the strike for someone else. My point, said players are actually doing with a good intent. These singular quests/bounties in a team focused game is literally counterproductive and a negative.

1 AntwortenManually set the date back a couple of days on your PC or console. You can run playlist strikes solo. Upgrade your chalice and you will get runes dropping after every activity without having to waste glimmer on rune buffs.
