So bungie if you’re giving people that have never played destiny 75% of your content for free, what are you giving all the players like myself and my friends that have played this game since launch. Have bought every expansion to date. Have stuck with the game through the hardest times. Have never given up on this game. What do we get. We spent nearly $200 on your game so what exactly do we get? The next year in dlc’s for free sounds good to me. Maybe a few exotics that you can only get if you’ve played for all this time. Just something to reward all of us loyal to your game that we love. Something to show that you care about your community. For those thinking I only played this game starting in d2 you are wrong. I too played the game in the first week of d1 and went through all the changes there.

Upvote for all the people that joined D2 even after reading all the posts like this on the forums to get weekly...wait no, daily rewards just for sticking with it.

16 AntwortenPosts like these blow my mind. The OP has about 1200hrs sunk into D2. At a cost of $200 that's less than 17cents per hour. Let's forget about the dirt cheap rate for a second. What you got for that price was YEARS of entertainment. How can you possibly think you're owed more? It's also as if these people have never heard of depreciation. News flash: almost nothing you buy this year will be worth what you paid for in a few years from now. Get over it and learn to join the rest of the people who actually exist in the reality outside your own ego.

If you buy a computer, new phone, new console, video game, etc., on day one, you're an early adopter. As an early adopter you always go in realizing there will be a better deal down the road. It's a matter of if you want to hold off the experience of having that item now or wait for that better deal 1-2 years down the road and give up those years of the experience. If a company gives something special to the early adopters cool, but it's fools gold chasing that and you're only going to make yourself unnecessarily upset about it.

23 AntwortenEntitled gamer speaking to entitled forum goers: GIVE ME EVERYTHING OR ILL LEAVE. Actual Destiny players: Enjoyed and still enjoying the game happy for a larger community. Man I hate the forums here.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von Corrick II: 6/11/2019 4:51:46 PMThey gave us hundreds if not thousands of hours of playtime? I mean, I get the concern but this happens all the time. You don’t go back to the grocery store and ask for a refund for items that get marked down do you? Or ask for your money back on movies that go to the bargain bin when you paid full price? If you played since D1 and are that invested, you probably got your money back a few times over. There is a benefit in going free to play. The population will rise, if even for a little bit, which will improve your experience as well even if you might not think about it. And the money you’re so frustrated having put into the franchise will keep it going for more DLCs and the sequel, so if you really do like Destiny, that’s a good thing. Realize you’re just one part of a very long and complicated decision process in a long and complicated economic chain. That doesn’t make your spending decisions any less important but understanding where you sit in that process and how the whole thing works will help to avoid this kind of frustration.

4 AntwortenI love how people defend Bungie screwing over people who paid for content early

9 AntwortenFrom a day one D1 veteran - I'll take a hard pass. I don't need any handouts.

6 AntwortenIm really curious how people respond to this after they realise 75% of annual pass content is free now............ There were alot of people who kind of called anyone asking about respecting players purchases "entitled" as if that negates the fact that there is a legitimate conversation to be had about how long your purchase of a piece of content will be respected Im just really curious about how they feel about parts of forsaken being free and 75% of annual pass being free

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von NationX: 6/12/2019 4:59:44 AMcongratulations on the most idiotic, entitled, utter nonsense i have ever read on these forums. You bought and played a game. No one gives a flying fuk where & when you started playing, only you. Go massage your epeen somewhere else. You are not special snowflake.

Somebody is entitled...
-
1 AntwortenDon't care if it sounds entitled. We have been here throughout all of bungies bs, and having to fix the game. And the new comers are going to get the best version of it...free? After all of the fixes. we dealt with stuff like Bungie throttling XP, etc. I want an exotic stash. Exotic ghost, ship, emblem, shader, armor set, and weapon...maybe fate bringer. That's it, that's not asking for the world. And to those who might disagrees?
🖕
22 AntwortenDownvoted, you greedy little..... I spent MORE than $200 dollars on this game...and what did I get? Oh....only about FIVE THOUSAND HOURS of entertainment. If you want to play a game that doesn't change or evolve, go play Call of Duty. Activision will be happy to give you your "finished" game.
-
You want a reward for where the game is now? Even after Bungie Thanos snapped half the exotics to death? Gtfoh 😂
-
It is no different than spending money at a movie theater, only to have the movie play for “free” on cable tv two years later. Many people just don’t understand that you are paying money for a license to play the game (not own it) sooner than those people who wait until the price of the game drops to a value they wish to play it at. For me a waited for the price for the Annual Pass to drop before I purchased it.

4 AntwortenHow about a cookie you entitled little brat. You are what is wrong with video games. You are not entitled to shit. You PAID for the game at release, every game ever released drops in price after release. If you are new to video games and are not aware of this that's your issue. If this standard practice is an issue find a new hobby.

Bearbeitet von DrippyChimp: 6/13/2019 5:12:24 PMI just want an emote or emblem.
-
6 AntwortenFor those saying we got nothing but some grey emblems and shader for being a D1 vet . While the reward seams minimal don’t forget about the intro to D2 when it recapped all your memories/accomplishments in D1 . Having those moments cataloged and being able to reflect on them is reward enough for me , new players will never get those .

Bearbeitet von A Simple Farmer: 6/13/2019 7:38:50 AMEh, I had fun. I wouldn't Mind a shader or emblem, but other than that, I've gotten more than my money's worth in terms of the run I had and the friends I've made

Bearbeitet von cycofreak3: 6/13/2019 4:34:46 AMOh I know what we could get! More Eververse content! DoN't LiKe It, DoN't BuY iT Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for free shit. All I want is for Bungie to maybe spend some of their resources on the content they want us to buy and a little less on Eververse. It's becoming too much.

Veteran rewards would be cool. Maybe an exotic weapon. But it doesn't need to be a free DLC.
