So we know where most if the focus was, there was supposed to be a mix of gear for silver and dust, it's almost all silver.
Bungie that's pretty disgusting.

167 AntwortenWe appreciate everyone giving feedback on the Eververse store. Most items will be available on the Bright Dust store during the season as it rotates. We are passing along everyone's feedback on pricing, availability, and other thoughts to the development team.

It wouldn't be so bad if you could earn Silver in game.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von FMJxXmodzXx: 6/6/2019 1:28:30 AMAt least we still earn engrams for bright dust. Could be much worse

they copy pasted season one's armor for bright dust, and locked the new one behind silver, and on top up'd the prices lol. Half the game's worth in weird looking armor lmao. What bothers me more about it is that they have ignored all vendors for over a year and each season they pull some crap over eververse.

29 AntwortenWhy is it bungie gets ripped for charging for cosmetics, but games like Fortnite it's ok? I don't understand why people have an issue with companies trying to make money. If they don't make money, they don't make games, it's that simple.

56 AntwortenCopied from another post: Season of Opulence has, in their bright engram (all new): 7 exotic emotes (22,750 bright dust) 9 legendary emotes (15,000 bright dust) 4 rare emotes (???) 8 exotic sparrows (20,000 bright dust) 1 legendary sparrow (???) 9 exotic weapon ornaments (13,500 bright dust) 10 legendary weapon ornaments (7,000 bright dust) 6 exotic armour ornaments (9,000 bright dust) 7 exotic ships (17,500 bright dust) 8 exotic ghost shells (22,800 bright dust) 15 legendary armour pieces (18,000 bright dust) All of that added up is 145,550 bright dust. For reference, let's assume you're the luckiest man alive and you get an exotic item that can be dismantled in every single engram, and you earn 9 of these each week over the course of the season, which we'll say is 12 weeks/3 months. That's 4,500 bright dust per week, or 54,000 bright dust overall. I don't expect to get everything from Eververse, and I never have, but it's unrealistic to expect anyone to be happy with these numbers.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von BeardLikeChrist: 6/6/2019 8:01:42 PMThis is a business reason im about to explain so dont roast me on this, it doesnt mean i agree with it. Based on the brand new content acquisition changes (i.e new light) and other changes coming to destiny one of the core income based business mechanics is more than likely going to take a hit. Because of that they are trying a new purchase model through eververse and possibly in the coming dlc in fall. Now based on current content and rotating items through the bright dust parts we will have access to most of the content available in eververse at some point through this season. The menu is also designed to focus on silver buying as that will need to pick up the slack for the projected losses due to pricing and game changes in the incoming months. The menu as a whole actually provides more options to buy in bright dust than the previous menu as there is the bright dust section and the small indent under the main section on the bottom left. Tl;dr, due to possible profit losses caused by free content in the future bungie is trying a new in game purchase model.

1 AntwortenThe eververse could sell all items of all seasons and instead of bright dust and silver, have only silver that could be bought with real money or won in in-game activities. And it could also have all the bright engrams of all seasons that could be bought with an item that the player could win by raising level.

Bungie put all their effort into eververse this season. It's insane what this company is doing to itself. Its nuts how many new exotic items eververse got. Granted they are ships sparrows and ghost shells and ornaments. Still if they put as much effort into the game and its content as they do to filling the eververse store, this game might actually be worth the time.

5 AntwortenThe only reason eververse hasn't been removed is because bungie earn enough money off of it to make the effort worthwhile. Bungie is a company that needs to make money to pay their employees, for us the small price of the cosmetics is disposable. It's worthless to us as individuals, but together it adds up and it does mean something for bungie. It literally pays their salaries. People do much worse things to earn money than selling something extra for a small fee. I have personally never paid for cosmetics with real money and have nothing against those who do. If you think it's a waste of money, don't spend it. This is like going to the cinema and demanding free popcorn because you paid for the ticket.
-
I'm cool with the silver except for the cost. Average price shouldn't be 800-1000. I'd gladly spend 10 bucks for 3 cosmetics. Maybe two. But not one

2 AntwortenIf you are to criticise a creative team at least be kind in your choice of words. As we now know, this is their independent vision of the future direction of the game, not dictated by corporate greed and aligned with best players' interests. Keep that in mind,

8 AntwortenCrying about cosmetic items lmao Just have some patience, not everything has to be now now now

7 AntwortenI spent $20 on silver today to support Bungie's.

7 AntwortenEveryone focuses on the amount of stuff available for silver when that's not the issue. I mean of course if you want to buy stuff you want them to offer everything and if they offered it all for bright dust at the same time no one would bother with silver. It's either buy it now with real money or wait till it's available for bright dust. That to me doesn't seem too bad. What's a bit more nefarious is that the engrams we get only reward year 1 stuff and the new armor set. So the only way to get most of the new items is either a silver purchase or waiting for it to show up for bright dust.
-
1 AntwortenNeed season 7 engram.
-
5 AntwortenThey gave us "Best of Year One" engrams with all the old shit, and put everything NEW in Eververse for Silver mostly. Very disappointed in that. They didn't even TRY with the free engrams, just shoved old shit in there. That's a real eye opener.

2 AntwortenWe have been arguing about Eververse since it was brought in 4 years ago. As of today, more than half of the loot in Destiny 2 is sold at Eververse. Almost all other factions and vendors have been made useless. Saying things like, “It’s just cosmetics” is no longer an excuse. Eververse has completely crippled this game and it literally gets worse every update. It’s literally the main focus of the game at this point. I would be willing to bet that a higher percent of the player base buys silver than completes raids. Really can’t ignore it any more.

23 AntwortenBearbeitet von ThrusterNYC: 6/5/2019 2:15:04 AMMinor update to game. Huge update to Eververse. $160 for D2 wasn't enough Bungie? You still need more from us? Just imagine for a moment what the game would be if every item in the store were instead, a reward attached to a specific triumph in the book. See something you like? Work toward the triumph. Get the item. More nickle and dime. Disgusting.

2 AntwortenTis quite humorous to see the effort expended on Eververse, versus game content.
-
I wish I could look at all the new ornaments and stuff but of course the eververse has to look like some info graphic telemarketer shite
-
Did you notice how some things that used to be random drops from bright engrams now cost silver? Like the Last Word ornament, BLUE emotes, friggin ghost projections???
-
Bearbeitet von Viguier: 6/6/2019 10:21:27 AMEververse is clearly not getting better, i use to defend it, now we can no longer get new items with xp engrams, eververse can no longer be defended.

"The best of year one" YOU SERIOUS? I've already got all that shit. Give me new stuff
