There would have to be some VAST improvements to the game overall, starting with getting rid of the crusty ass, Piece of Shit engine they are using. Use some Unreal engine or something because this shit and the slow as -blam!- updates aren't cutting it. Actually create some real RPG/MMO/Loot shooter elements instead of tacking them just for appearances. Put in some real skill trees so people will actually have some variances in how they play. For that matter you could expand upon the grenades and melee abilities to make them react differently as well. All in all the biggest improvement would be to get some dedicated servers as well. P2P for this game is an awful idea that should have never been a thing, especially after receiving $500m for the whole franchise. Matchmaking features that actually work and aren't there for appearances. Factions added back with some real significance added to them and their own armor/weapon models. Better tuning to make a real difference between legendaries and exotics. Also, stop nerfing anything half-way decent just because people are using them, if you want more people using other weapons actually make other weapons better, especially when you make activities that can only be done with a random group with said weapons. There is literally a ton of things they need to improve.

6 AntwortenI finally got off the hamster wheel at the end of jan - personally only a complete refresh of the entire franchise would bring me back at this point. I am also so far behind at this point to catch up would prove to be a monumental undertaking - and grinding for exotics I have already received in D1 is really not much of an incentive. Especially when those pinnacle/exotics are always one step away from the inevitable nerf. The biggest issue though is all the buds I met that played this with me during D1/D2 feel exactly the same and without em the experience would be a hollow one. Sorry bungie I really can’t get hyped anymore - many of us are just too burned out or cynical to get on board the grind/nerf train once more.
