Mine:
Our Computer Science teacher from 6th grade to 8th grade. This woman did anything and everything she could do to become unpopular in our school and had the nerve to wonder if we liked her or not. I have one story in particular that made her hated by my ENTIRE FAMILY.
So this was in her first few months of teaching and none of us really had a reason to not like her, except for that she was a bit annoying at times. We were in class during a normal day where she had us do a typing activity so we could "practice the essential skill of homerow format." She also believed that "writing by hand will become irrelevant when you all enter the Workplace, so you need to learn to type faster!" Not only that, but she would actually get triggered when we typed in a "hunting-and-pecking" format.
That day was no exception.
So we were typing, doing all of the Mavis Beacon activities we were assigned, and all of a sudden she stops the class. I look up to see her hovering over the one of my classmates. He's one of those kids that talks all the time and did not give a single crap about his grades, and she has made it clear before that she despises those kids. The following confrontaion goes down
Teacher: Would you explain to the rest of the class why you are wasting their time?
Kid: *silent in disbelief*
Teacher: No go on, tell them. Tell them why they are going to have homework tonight.
Kid ...uh... I don't understand...
Teacher: *huffs* Why aren't you using Homerow when I told you to? The computer even told you to use homerow! And because of that you made me stop the entire class so that you could understand how important this is.
Kid: It's just how I type. I can't do it the other way.
Teacher: WELL MAYBE IF YOU ACTUALLY TRIED THIS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE!
Kid: *sits in shame as everyone stares*
Teacher: So since this class clearly has issues with listening, You all will be getting another 45 minutes of practice. (They were horrible and if your typing speed wasn't at a certain threshold, you would have to try again)
Kid: *under his breath* This is so stupid...
Teacher now has a meltdown
Teacher: WHAT DID YOU SAY?
Kid: Nothing...
Teacher: Go to the principal's office! Just so you know, I will be calling your parents! I just can't deal with you right now!
Kid walks out of room, assumingely to the Principal's office, while she told the rest of us to get back to work, and apologized for HIS behavior. She sits down, picks up a blank demerit, fills it out, and walks out of the room.
Kid gets interrogated about what happened by other kids, says he sat there while the principal asked what he did. He said he didn't type in homerow format, and then teacher walked in. SHE claimed that he was insubordinate, and VERBALLY HARASSED HER. The principal, who wasn't entirely crazy, told the kid to go back to class while her and the teacher talked. He eves dropped for about 10 seconds and heard the Principal arguing with the teacher about how pointless this all was, with the teacher claiming she felt undermined. Eventually we learned she dropped the demerit, and never called the poor kid's parents.

Bearbeitet von Jotaro Kujo PhD: 5/19/2019 5:07:19 PMOne of my upper-level chemistry professors was awful. He didn't even do any PhD or postgrad work relating to the material yet he was teaching the course (a required course for chemistry and biochemistry majors). This guy couldn't teach for shit, passed off another prof's assignments as his own, and randomly accused students of cheating. He was also probably sexist. He -blam!-ed up some lectures so badly that we had to spend lab time listening to the same lectures again. I would catch multiple math errors in each lecture. I ended up going to the other professor's classes in addition to his. By the end of the semester, I was basically teaching the other students (including grad students) because I was the only one who actually knew the subject matter. Eventually, being a mega-tryhard paid off for me. I'm pretty sure he got scared of me in the end; I got 100s or greater on everything, sat in on 2 sections worth of lectures, and taught the other students. The next semester, I was walking with a friend and she was going to the bad prof's lecture. When he saw me, he stopped what he was doing and got (very subtly) nervous.

I try not to remember. If you think for one second that you shouldn’t become a teacher, you should not become a teacher. So many teachers become fixated on little shit that doesn’t matter, especially whenever they feel their “authority” is being “undermined”. Their job should be to above all else TEACH, not give a 10-15 minute demonstration on how to take out your shitty home life on students.

2 AntwortenCurrently my Comparative Religions/Philosophy teacher. -blam!- him! He made us write Essays on 10 page long documents of philosophy that made no sense, played favorites so -blam!-ing hard, and was basically out to ruin our grades. If this wasn't my final year at my school, I'd flip my shit harder than when Kratos uprooted a goddamn temple.

1 Antworten10th grade English teacher. Literally learned nothing from her. She handed out worksheets and sat at her computer the whole class period.

1 AntwortenI've generally gotten along well with teachers (though I had a 8th grade social studies teacher who was a couple fries short of a happy meal). The really bad actors for me were advisors in school, and supervisors at work. I've had the misfortune of having to work with--and for---some people who were truly miserable excuses for human beings.

I can’t remember their name but I remember my old geography teacher was useless, he just said turn to page whatever and do that. The miserable git was a useless teacher. I remember having a really fun and interactive maths teacher he made it enjoyable and to this day I’m good at maths. My french teacher was also fit as -blam!- 😍

•Those teachers that think they know you and your family just enough. •Those teachers that have favorites and least favorites. Even the teachers that won't do shit to help you but would do shit if someone else asked. •Hypocritical teachers. •Awfully energetic ass teachers who hand out 97766888654321125 sheets of work and expect the students to get it done before class ends. •Teachers with anger issues. •The typical, overweight gym teachers that always says that a student isn't doing much, but can't even demonstrate exercises or how to play a sport and mostly tells by word. Just so many more to fill the list.....

10 AntwortenMy current geometry teacher. She straight up gave us about 7 homework assignments without even teaching us the basic principle that we need to know in order to complete the assignment.

The majority of Spanish and Art teachers I met had a knack for making their class period the most dull, least enjoyable experience ever. They were the kinds of teachers that didn’t want even idle chat while we worked. They were unnecessarily strict, and being in those classes was mind-numbingly boring and borderline oppressive. My 7th grade art teacher and my Spanish teacher sophomore year were among the cuntiest of -blam!- out there. But as awful as those teachers were, they at least knew what they were talking about. You could at least say you were learning in those classes. The English teachers I had my first two years of high school were another story. You could tell they didn’t belong teaching in a high school. You could tell you weren’t learning anything. They could barely understand the curriculum let alone teach it. Oh yeah, and my econ/government teacher wasn’t great either.

99% of my schools students say this one teacher is terrible because she takes away their phones when they’re out. I see it as fair since you’re not supposed to be using phones in class.

My 10th grade chemistry teacher, never seemed to care about people's grades and wouldn't return homework for months. I was getting unit 1 work back in the middle of the second quarter when we were on unit 5 or 6.

Few instances: Art teacher drew over my not great pastel tiger with black pastel and smudged it around in an attempt to fix my work. My tiger looked like it suffered serious head trauma now. She blamed it on me. Math teacher poses a difficult problem: Kid in my class “How do you do this?” Math teacher “Ohhhh, cmon! You know how to do this! Seriously?” kid shakes his head Kid “If I knew how to do it, why would I be asking how to do it?!” Math teacher cackles Math teacher “...........ok!.........” he walks away

1 AntwortenMy high school art teacher was caught giving grades to students before they had even submitted their art projects just because he was going on vacation after school finished and didn’t want the extra work of grading them. He was fired.

I haven’t had a standout one, but in particular English teachers in my experience are inconsistent with what they think is a good paper and what is a bad paper. Earned C’s in Junior year for papers, and senior year when I clocked out I was getting A’s. Same thing with college, one prof kept giving me shite and the other thought it was good stuff.

There was this history teacher I think it was the last year of middle school. She started off seeming nice, but quickly went bat[Redacted] insane. She would get snarky if anyone asked a question, straight up spent several days just harassing the class instead of teaching, or refusing to teach because someone decided to be rude. Pretty sure she was caught manually lowering grades a few times too. Needless to say, she got fired pretty early.

4 AntwortenMy art teacher. She knew I SUCKED at art but she would still bug me like “you need to add this ect...” and I was thinking “I SUCK at art and I don’t give a -blam!-“
this was elementary school. Yes I know cuss words because... just looked on how -blam-ed up kids are today
I've gotten along great with all of my teachers. There have been a couple that weren't as nice as others though. But generally, all my teachers are genuinely nice people and were looking at the students best interest.

My 3rd grade teacher should not be allowed near children. She would yell at us for the smallest things and said yelling often involved cussing. One kid brought up that swearing is bad during one of the teacher's screaming sessions and her -blam!-ing response was something like ''I know, so don't piss me off, AND DON'T TALK BACK TO ME'' There were multiple times where the whole class would be forced to stay inside during recess because of one person. The person didn't get singled out and bullied by us though because we knew our teacher was just batshit crazy. So a group of 3rd graders was more mature than the teacher basically. The worst thing she did that I can remember is when we had to share what we wanted to be in the future and one kid said an artist. She told him ''it will never happen because I've seen your art and it's not good at all so pick something else''. He sat there and silently cried. I wish I told my parents about her behavior when I had the chance because I know my mom would've unleashed hell on that teacher.

Bearbeitet von Rafiki: 5/16/2019 6:04:43 PMA woman by the name of Ms. L. since I don't want to name and shame. My first grade teacher. She was an old black lady who was waaay past the point of retirement but stuck around for one reason or another. She was constantly sick, spit on us accidentally, and was extremely racist towards myself and the other Hispanic kids in the class. She called my father so often about my "misbehavior" that the school offered to have him sit in one day without my knowing to see what I was doing wrong. Needless to say that I was given the best lunch and dinner that day with him as well as an apology from both my parents since they had punished me profusely whenever they got one of these calls.
