They need a lot more bodyshot damage and maybe a little bit more precision damage. Right now they are utter garbage. We need more viable weapon types in the crucible not just handcannons.

1 AntwortenBeen saying it since 1.1.1 Pvp won’t allow autos to be good
-
This is Bungie we're talking about here. Auto rifles are good for a while. Then they get nerfed and never really recover.
-
While I would love to see some more love for our autos, I did manage to wreck with Sweet Business last IB. Because just like the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expects a constant stream of HCR rounds flying down range.

Suros I used to complete the catalyst is a hard hitter

8 AntwortenBearbeitet von Lull9: 5/6/2019 3:42:05 PMAuto rifles are low-skill, basic, dumb weapons. They should always have a low skill floor AND a low skill ceiling. PvP would suck if they became dominate and everything was auto rifle spray.

1 AntwortenAutos were pretty good in D2 Year 1. But the whole class got nerfed because Uriel's was too good and had too much range. Which it did, it's range stat was bonkers. But 450 precision frames were really strong. They're still arguably the best.

2 AntwortenNot even buff auto rifles or scout rifles. Nerf pulse rifles, i'm sick of the sandbox team making body shots rewarding and punishing people that actually aim for the head.

8 Antworten1) Suros Regime (Dual Speed) 2) Cuboid ARu 3) Scathelocke 4) The Number 5) Kibou 6) Suros Throwback 7) Tigerspite If these can’t help you then maybe pick another weapon type.

1 AntwortenDestiny. Hand cannon or nothing. Its a shame.

You want to spray and pray you pay the the price, it's not COD.
-
3 AntwortenPretty balanced just need to tone down the range on pulses a wee bit

5 Antworten720 rpms have a fast ttk. Like .72 seconds I think.

They have auto rifles in this game??? Holee crap! I thought they were sling shots with perks.

And scouts.

8 AntwortenThey could use a big pve buff but if I were the sandbox team I would be careful when buffing them in pvp

You have never used the gambit pinnacle weapon then. It shreds

I don’t know if buffing body shot damage is the way to go. Maybe a buff to stability to make the precision hits a bit more consistent. I have been using the Suros a lot since I received the catalyst and I have been doing really well with it. It hits fast enough to cause flinch on The handcannon and pulse rifle users (with some smart prefiring around corners to get the rev up perk active sooner). It is stable enough to get those much needed precision hits and over course the health regen on some kills helps you chain kills ( can’t wait till I get the catalyst unlocked to see how that changes). I don’t have as much luck with other autos though.

Just increase their bodyshot damage in PvE and PvP. To minors, body shots do 1/3 the damage a precision hit will do, which is ridiculous, but even then precision hits don't do very much without stacking rampage. In PvP, bodyshot damage is ok, but a slight increase of 2-4 bodyshot damage, without changing headshot damage, could go a long way. I also think improving the accuracy of certain 600s, 720s, and 360s are in order. The only accurate autos are the precision frame autos so really those are the only viable PvP autos even though they kill slower than most guns when 100% accurate. So if they fix the accuracy on some of the autos, bump up bodyshot damage in PvE and in PvP, give them maybe 10-15% buffs to their total potential damage in PvE, we might start seeing them more often.
