Can Chaos Reach please be able to destroy Nova Bombs?
I was shooting at someone with Chaos Reach and was wondering why they weren’t taking damage. Turns out they threw a Nova Bomb and the Nova Bomb was soaking up every ounce of the Chaos Reach.
Can we please make it so Chaos Reach can destroy a Nova Bomb? I mean other Supers can do it, so why not this one?

Screw that noise make Nova Bomb absorb the chaos reach energy and grow bigger and deadlier the more it takes in until it finally explodes completely ending the entire PvP match

This is such a small thing that bungie will probably not look at a post and go :yeah I'll do it . Instead they'd probably do it if they want to someday . Im all for it cuz...it makes sense ?

1 AntwortenIf they want to keep things fair, a super slow ball shouldn't be counterable at all because most of the time you can already out run it and it's very difficult to hit anyone with it. And it's all you really have. It shouldn't be stopped especially by supers with duration or worst of all, roaming supers. Like the Arc Hunter middle tree, that super can stop a Nova bomb and of course, while you blew your wad, they still have a super to finish you off and your whole team. You already sacrificed kills to use a shut down super yet they put a counter within the Super that you're suppose to shut down. How the hell is that even fair? In fact, I think a lot of the Warlock supers needs tweaking or maybe a redesign. Bottom and top tree Arc are weird, it would have been better to just let me keep my guns and give me the Super armor. I would have killed faster that way. Middle tree gives you a cool looking super at the expense of the ability to see. Nova bomb is a shut down super that doesn't always shut down. Nova warp is okay. Well of Radiance will just get you killed. Dawn blade is often the most feasible one. Not saying that they need something broken, but just a redesign that keeps it on par with the other classes. And I know (and I'm not going to call out that super or that class because I don't want nerfs, but it's not Spectral) because my other characters have some ridiculous supers. Like supers that could get 9+/- kills a game even without Super mods. All that and maybe find a way to tone down the number of Supers per PVP game (esp. for PC) because it's like Mayhem out there and the gunplay is starting to get lost.

Which is weird because Golden Gun can shoot down a Nova Bomb with one shot and disable the seekers.

Well they should also up the pvp damage, it takes a decade to kill one guy only to get shot by 3 others. Otherwise people just use it for the passive abilities.

I'd be cool with that as long as it took roughly half of a chaos reach to do it. You'd still have to contend with the bloom though. I've mained a warlock since beta d1, no arguments here.

12 AntwortenI mean lore wise, wouldn't Chaos Reach make the Nova Bomb bigger and stronger because void light is literally light and darkness? Arc light is just light. So by adding it to void light, you're making more void light.

Warlock supers are weak enough as they are gtfo with this shooting it down shit, only the original caster should be able to detonate it prematurely by shooting it. Meanwhile spectral blades remains unchanged... gtfo
