Sorry to tell you but is true is all over Reddit.
Like I said if Bungie removes PVP from D3 I’m done I won’t buy it at all period.

The pve players want it gone so that they don’t have to hold a 0.5 kd to get the last word. It is so hard for them.
-
1 AntwortenWell, Destiny 3 sounds like it's got two things good going for it so far... 1. Less emphasis on PvP 2. It will mean the end of Destiny 2.
-
5 Antwortenif they remove pvp for this game there's no point of me playing I would just go play the division 2, the pve in deadstiny should be removed it's largely pointless and easy.

No one cares if you leave for no pvp. Also pvp is the cancer of the game
-
1 AntwortenIronically I swore off buying D3 because of pvp focus shit quest lines hearing the news that pvp is on the chopping block has me rethinking ny D3 purchase
-
I really hope they do; it’s the weakest part of the game
-
Honestly getting rid of PvP would only make me want the game even more

4 Antworten
Sorry to tell you but is true is all over Reddit. Like I said if Bungie removes PVP from D3 I’m done I won’t buy it at all period.
I’d personally be happy if it meant more pve content and I wouldn’t have to do all the annoying crucible for every exotic quest step ever
-
Potentially be a better game without it in my opinion, well PvE would definitely get better.
-
1 AntwortenI hope so I no want to do quest that requires to do PvP and gambit
-
Doesn't matter to me if PvP is there or not. I just wish that they don't link any exotic quests to it
-
Look. I'm sorry. But this game cannot be both. They lack the competence to make it both. It either needs to be a purely pve game or a purely pvp game.... And the hard truth is that while they may lose some pvp only players they'll gain more players by the type of game they can make without pvp. They should instead make a pvp only spin off in the theme of overwatch or apex or even something like battlefield, something built specifically for this pvp and balanced for pvp. It will make the experience better for everyone if the two game modes stopped trying to be balanced with each other.

69 AntwortenWouldn't that be great? Get rid of the worst PvP in FPS history AND the worst parts of the community at the same time? Sounds like a win/win to me!
-
This game wouldn’t die without pvp. Without constantly catering to every whiny baby on the forums about nerfs and crucible balances, they could actually focus on pve. They could actually put more of their resources and time into a better open world with more content. No matter what they do, say or think, you people will always complain about something. “Nerf this gun, nerf that super, I got killed and I didn’t like it, etc” grow up. Also not sure if this is true, but wasn’t D1 supposed to be without crucible? I can’t wait to see people like you gone

Removing PvP is about the ONLY way I'd consider buying D3. Bring it.
-
They just need to separate the two entirely. PvP should have it's own restricted gear which is only obtainable through playing PvP including versions of PvE gear which have been specifically balanced for PvP. Doing so would make the PvP experience more competitive and skill-based since it would rely less on finding that RNG roll, and would mean that balance passes could specifically target PvP gear and not interfere with PvE. For all it's faults, of which there are many, Anthem actually showcases what you can do with a PvE system when you don't have to worry about it breaking PvP balance. You can push your builds to extreme levels by focusing on single target damage, AoE/Elemental damage, cooldown rates, etc. It's similar to Diablo in that regard, where you can find some really interesting synergies between weapons. Destiny has always felt like a very watered down version of an ARPG and never completely fulfils the power fantasy because they're always somewhat restricted by how far they can push PvE without breaking PvP.

Oh well? Bungie is independent now. That means they have to reassess everything and possibly become more focused. They have a ton of data, and if that data shows that PvP is more trouble than it's worth, then it's likely gone. Reality is, the PvP focused FPS market is very crowded right now and it's hard to compete. Battle Royale games are dominating the market and arena style shooters are on the decline. I'm also willing to bet that it's harder for Bungie to bring in revenue from the PvP side of the game since they can't sell map packs etc without fragmenting the playerbase. People who strictly play PvP are also less likely to buy DLC/annual pass content as light level doesn't matter. So chances are that Crucible cost more in resources than it brings in, and I think the emphasis on Gambit is writing on the wall for how they intend to structure the game moving forward. Bungie knows they will lose a portion of the playerbase without PvP (they could also gain some players), but if they do remove it then that means it's a calculated risk they are willing to make. At the end of the day they are a business, and they'll focus on what's most profitible.

For every one ex Halo nerd that leaves, ten new PvE players would join
-
5 AntwortenThat would be best case scenario. Not you leaving. Just D3 with no Pvp. That’d be great.
-
62 AntwortenSo the most toxic part of the player base leaves and the game is free to thrive without blanket nerfs and handicapping due to PvP? Where's the downside?
-
4 AntwortenI have a + KD, I have Luna's, in good at PvP. But PvP ruins the game. I won't buy unless it's gone or changed. Too many nerfs.

Yeah this game is a pile of shite in it's current state

Bearbeitet von COMBATICUS: 4/3/2019 7:57:48 PMPersonally I think it qont be removed permanently. What's gonna happen probably is, release d3 with as much pve content and gears and weapons to chase after. Then down the road release pvp/crucible, it might not be like the pvp qe have now, it might be in another form, like gambit, or open world type pvp. While I'm not a big pvp player, I do enjoy it from time to time, and do grind for weapons and gear that require pvp. But bungie has done so many things players didnt like whether for pvp or pve. Now with d3 rumors having it be pure pve, in a way I like the sound of that, BUT they need to UP their pve skills, content, grind, difficulty and most importantly match making for everything possible. Not the same bullshii MM we have now which is guided games but true MM for all activities. I'm willing to give them a shot, I loved D1 but there were so many stuff I hated as well, and D2 just threw everything out the window and started fresh and the changes were in even more horrible. So while I might be considered a sucker for investing in bungie. Depending on what they show, what we will be getting, and how things will play, I might get d3. Because as of now, Im Done with d2, it failed me horribly. And havent touched it in a while, while I did log in to check season of drifter, I turned that crap right back off a day or 2 later, then logged in, got the thorn and never logged in again. So if bungie wants my $$ and at the same time me playing and enjoying the game. They better bring a full plate to the table with everything they learned and all feedback they took from players
