Your grinding model is just too much. I’ve been you with you guys since the beginning, but I think it’s time to start looking for new things this grinding crap is getting old. I no longer have the time and it seems like it takes even more time now than it ever has just to get things in this game. It’s not fun, it’s just frustrating as hell now I regret wasting all my time on your game. I guess destiny is only for people who can spend 2-3 hours or more a day just to get anywhere

Just mad cuz bad
-
I mean it's supposed to be that way. You should have to spend several hours getting one thing. I think the type of game you should play would be story driven games so that way an hour or two a day would guarantee progress? Maybe a game like overwatch might be better as well since all you need to play is 4-5 matches and you'll rank up a lot in comp.

Bungie can't make everyone happy. Certain people will feel let down after an update, which may cause them to quit. The grind, as it is now, is fine in my opinion. The grinding model may not suit you, but it suits most of the community. We wanted something to grind for and got what we wanted. Why undo it?

272 AntwortenThank you for sharing your feedback. I'd like to know more details on what you are trying to earn that feels out of reach. What changes would you propose to improve your experience? I'm a working dad too, so I know what it's like to not have as many hours in the day to spend gaming. Any Destiny I play at work is usually on internal builds that don't progress my characters. We're always trying to balance making the game fun for those who only have a few hours here and there to jump and play, while also providing long engagement opportunities for those who want to dedicate a lot of hours to the game. It may take some players most of the season to reach the power cap and earn some of the pinnacle weapons, while the hardcore may do it in a week or 2. Let us know your experiences and how we can make them better in the future.

Games aren’t for working dads
-
I play at both Pc and ps4, work 12 hours a day, why you guys don't try to just have Fun, damn this is not Black desert, this is not a fully grind MMO that requires 10.000 hours to be decent, this is destiny, you can be strong doing whatever you want in the game, stop crying about infusion goddamn it is already easy, you stupid people ruin the difficulty of the game, If You were chess players yall would ask to nerf stuff, damn Just have Fun and stop grinding for only one item morons, there is already a Lot of content to do each week I do not understand how can someone say the game is not rewarding, a single Strike and you get powerful gear Daily lmao
-
3 AntwortenYou guys suck, I work 12 hours a day and still feel like the game is very easy and rewarding. Bungie! don't mind this casual, many hardcore players are waiting for D3.
-
3 AntwortenHonestly if you're a dad you should be playing less video games and spending more time with your kids and family. Too many times I hear people on discord neglecting their kids to video games. It's embarrassing.

22 Antwortenworking dads are what ruined this game you people complained about everything you made this a casual game where everything has lost its meaning, back in the day you would see a lvl 30 guardian and understand he is a hardcore raider now you see a 700 light guardian and you think "he propably did his dailies" this weapon is unbalanced , that weapon is op, omg nerf this super, then d2 releases and pvp is a shit show of 4 people teams throwing marshmalowns at each other... what do you people want? should bungie just have you complete a form about being a "dad" so you just get a max level account with all the items in the game so you can shut the hell up? make destiny hardcore again you took 2 thorn headsots and died, well boo fing hoo
-
1 AntwortenIt’s not for people who work period. I don’t play anymore due to how ridiculous infusion has gotten. You don’t earn cores organically through gameplay. Instead you have to go grind bounties for 2 hours then go do what you got on to do.

Destiny isn’t for anyone who has a job in general. This is an “unemployed game”
-
What about working moms? But I agree with you.
-
No, that doesn't make sense.

Remember when in Destiny 1 you had to play Raids to reach max light...Pepperidge Farm remembers. Seriously though, the problem is infusing right now and, in my opinion, the loot pools. I have more time than ever due to injury and it STILL takes way too long to Masterwork gear. The grind is really bad and I’m not saying that all grinds are bad but they should be both equally rewarding and fun at the same time. It should feel less of a chore to replay activities for loot, we should be WANTING to replay these activities. When I think of “good” grinding I imagine games like Runescape or Diablo where there is a large pool of loot that enemies drop. So, no matter what drops, you’ll know it will be very useful in someway or another. Things like killing specific enemies that will drop specific items to make medicines, ammo, ect. The blues and lack of materials you get from grinding activities can be tiring. You just feel like there should be more to all of it and less currencies. But then it makes you stop and wonder if maybe Destiny needs a more complex world of items, areas and enemies to make it seem more alive when grinding. Fingers tied on Destiny 3.

6 AntwortenThe grind was lobbied for by many of us diehard Destiny fans. Personally, I wanted it so it would separate my dedication from a casual player. Dont get it twisted...I have helped MANY casuals out. But here is what I wont do w casuals anymore: - I wont do any endgame activities taking more than 15 minutes. - I no longer do Guided Games (not even sure u can still do the raids that way) - I no longer do Whisper runs for folks - I no longer help out anyone in the tower spamming for help (used to be really bad...not so much anymore) - I refuse to do any LFG raids. - if not for the player penalty, I would leave at least 50% of all Gambit matches (I'm nearly rank 11...that's a lot of matches) Casuals are the disease that plagued this game until Warmind hit. People would rage quit after their 3rd EP clear and no shotgun. Although it took me 99 LEGIT clears (level 1 - level 7) to get the shotty, I was happy to see casuals quit. To me, that made the grind worth it. To me, that's what separated my efforts from the casual. (Of course doing 99 clears is trash RNG...a completely different subject, one that I'm very bitter about) So, I say goodbye to casuals. There is zero sadness in me to see you all go.
... it seems like it takes even more time now than it ever has just to get things in this game
That’s just not true And he never mentioned being a new father, just a father. Regardless everyone goes through periods of life where you can’t do as much fun stuff as you want to. I don’t see how he has any legit complaint about the game

1 AntwortenFather of 2 working a full time job and married for 11 years. Get a measly 2 hrs to play a night and some in the weekend. Only play 1 toon and done everything but complete a raid because I’d rather use my time towards completing multiple activities vs just 1. Currently sitting at 700 light, either you can’t manage your time properly or have no time to play at all. May I suggest call of duty! Lmfao😏

Grinding for blues.. gotta love it!
-
I spend 2-3 hours stretching in the tower. Step your game up. 1. Get a divorce 2. Let the new stepdad raise the little freeloaders. 3. Now you're ready to put in some quality time. 4. Develop a fake illness or injury. 5. Log in. 6. Do your dailies and spiders bounties. 7. Find 3 players just like you, ignore how toxic they are and how insane their home lives are. 8. You are ready for your first game in comp. 9. Keep your insurance because you will need it by the time you get not forgotten. 10. Your welcome.
-
Do you want them to revamp the game so playing 30 min a day gets you max LL and all the endgame content? Think about that for a minute, then go download Candy Crush.
-
3 AntwortenI’m a working dad and play GOBs of D2. When my wife and I started dating, I told upfront that I like to play video games. A LOT. And that’s not going to change. I let her know that if she wasn’t accepting of that, or was going to jealous then things honestly weren’t going to work out between us. My kids go to bed by 9:30 and my wife shortly after. I log in and play for maybe 3-4 hours and go to bed. You can get a lot done in that time.

6 AntwortenThe fact that Cozmo replied is total BS. This post is -blam!- in the sense that there are PLENTY of quick activities (and bounties) to get your light up. Games aren’t meant to be played for a super short period of time. If you mean you don’t have time for raids, that’s an entirely different argument. Be aware that Destiny is a LOOTER SHOOTER, and nothing should be spoonfed to you. Cozmo, instead of replying to someone who admits they don’t even have a huge amount of time to play your game; reply to someone who is a veteran or that has a genuine question or concern. I know it’s a business and that you need to cater to more casual people like OP, but cmon.

Its all about choices. some people put the time in to this as a hobby, not as an idle passive thing you do once in a while and expect to have all the toys that everyone else does. I am a dad, business man and I choose to put in the time I do exactly because it is fun and a great escape. I also am an avid golfer, read books and have other hobbies. You make the time for things that are important. You can't really expect us to believe you played all these years and feel it was a waste of your time, you are just upset that you can no longer play the game you want to due to other obligations and facts of life and situation you have now placed higher priority on.

Stopped playing regularly for a while and recently came back to the game and found there are tons of things to do and a fairly easy curve to level up. Only play a few hours a week. Destiny doesn't work for part time players who want to achieve/earn everything the game has to offer. Just pick and choose what you enjoy doing and take your time. The need to rush kills the enjoyment for sure. Still spend too much time exploring the environment because the art is awesome beyond belief and pretty sure I'll get the weapons/stuff I'm after in a couple of months. :)

6 AntwortenI'm a Dad of 3, work full time 50 hours a week and still have time to play this game.........

I agree with you and the crucible needs some rethinking
