I don’t care about streamers and content creators being able to no life quests, so that they can feature weapons and armor as content. The majority of my clan doesn’t care either. Make good content and let us enjoy it. There is no need for gating, overblown progression systems(cores for infusion), stunted leveling, and ridiculously long quest lines. If the content is fun people will play it. I’m not saying to make everything obtainable in a weeks time, I’m saying that where we are now is out of hand. I won’t speak for the community at large, but I will say that in the closed community I interact with most, people are leaving to play games that don’t even employ the carrot on a stick model. I say this on the eve of a new community summit that will most certainly be populated by the same people who are ON RECORD giving feedback, that was in line with the philosophy of extending the grind. I know that streamers and content creators generate hype, but remember that under your p2p server infrastructure, WE RUN YOUR SERVERS. Furthermore, we Sherpa your raids, we buy your DLC, and we carry lesser players through a whole manner of content(creating a good environment for new players to enter the world of Destiny). I have never in my life seen a company’s upper management treat customers the way that you guys have. The community is telling you EXACTLY what we want and you are fool heartedly ignoring us. I understand that it’s work to change these kinds of things but imagine the metric F ton of work required to retroactively make the changes necessary to bring players back after the inevitable fallout of the current situation. Stop doing this to us, and for God’s sake, stop doing this to yourselves.
