There is no problem with cores and progression in Destiny 2. It is literally a made up problem. Cores do not affect progression. Screaming loudly that they do doesn't make it less of a lie.
Maybe, just maybe, the reason you haven't gotten what you wanted even after screaming about it for months is because your opinion doesn't match the opinion of the majority of the player base nor does it match the direction the developers want to take the game. Maybe, just maybe, we have all heard your complaining loud and clear, but you don't actually have a good argument nor a good opinion. Maybe, just maybe, forming a mob doesn't make your demands more credible or worthwhile.
At this point, the fake argument and outrage over enhancement cores is bordering on social terrorism. Calm down. Play the game. Play a different game. Stop trying to threaten and scream down people who don't agree with you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the new gear in Gambit the same set as the normal Gambit but with snakes put on it?

I can see that as the case! I made my statement because I didn’t really feel like progression was hampered for me. Just that to increase my LL I [b][i]had[/i][/b] to use unwanted gear. My experience was choosing a higher light level, or looking how I want, and using the weapons I want.

Always choose highest light best build, then go style, you will get further faster and playing with things you don’t normally play with increases your skill whether you believe it or not

I agree with that! It does make you branch out. And I wholeheartedly support learning variety for the sake of skill. I personally like to keep my highest level items in my inventory if I don’t want to use them. That way I’m still getting higher drops.

It seems LL is the main thing to grind for nowadays. Not much of an incentive...

Everyone here only has to read that quote above to know what you said is a (complete lie,) and the rest of what you said was only you rambling on about (your own personal issue) that doesn't belong on this forum period. Do everyone a favor and explain how in D1 (Mote of light) limited how one could play the game. Then look at Cores in D2 and explain how they give multiple options like Mote of light? What I just explain shows you literally do not know what you are even talking about and you only came on here to complain about what you think the OP is complaining about and nothing more. Threads like this are annoying because you are the minority and will always be the minority in thinking the cores benefit the player base and this progression system when in fact it's the complete opposite. cores do not impede progression, small minds do. you do not need a single core to level, just an operational brain.

Heres the thing. Even if bungie takes enhancement cores out of whatever infusion, it wont change the fact that the community will stop crying about something. It's well known that this community is full of complainers. All they will do is see something else in the forums, and complain about it, even though it really isn't the problem.

Not the progression system and how the cores were used to slow progression down and as I said to someone else, Bungie has and still is abusing the RNG in this game that it's far worse off then D1. The lack of loot to chase or worth leveling up is the main issue on why the cores were added as a form of infusion. No one asked for some of the changes this company does that they have a bad habit of doing. On top of it, when they do change something they just expect everyone to accept what they have changed and that is flawed logic.

Shocker: because they actually aren't a big problem. Everyone screaming about they are impulse-driven kids who don't want to have to do anything they don't like doing, ever, at all. They want the game to give them what they want when they want it. I'm not being facetious. This is literally what all of their arguments boil down to when they are forced to explain them. They lie and pretend they think it takes too long to get cores, or that cores inhibit progression in the game, but these things are patently and factually untrue. And when you point out that what they are saying is literally untrue, they always end up with the same final argument: "it's a game man, I should be allowed to play how I want to play." Entitled children, not gamers.

I remember original Nintendo and Sega. When the computer actually cheated you. This is cake compared to old games. Don’t believe me??? Go back and try to beat Contra without infinite lives cheat code. Closest I ever got was the second to last level. That boss is as big as the screen, yet you are supposed to jump over him as he rushes you to keep from dying. This is literally almost impossible. Want to complain about a game cheating you??? There ya go. No checkpoints either crybabies. I can’t imagine any of you playing “difficult games” like dark souls. Probably just give up after your first death. “THIS IS TO HARD!!!!”

How does a company keep gamers playing a game knowing they didn't add much content in the game when it comes to the in-game content giving gamers the incentive to want to play? This is where the investment team comes in, using them to look for ways to keep gamers grinding for material vs looking for ways to where gamers just play the game and grind for loot. D1 is a prime example that they never needed a system like the cores because there was plenty of loot to chase and gear that gamers wanted to level up. D2 is the opposite...
