I want to try something. I’ve seen this topic come up a couple of times, but I want to take it a bit further. Rather than just describing your dream home, I want to work with you to design it. Describe it in as little or as much detail as you want and I’ll try to get back to as many people as I can with some initial ideas to work off of.
Unfortunately the end product won’t be totally fleshed out, but I’d like to eventually get some decent renderings and plans for at least a couple different users.
Scrabble got boring. This seems like a more fun pastime.
Single story, four bedroom, two full bathrooms, one toilet room, a medium kitchen/dining/living space. The bedrooms should all be along the same hallway. Two on the left and two on the right. Between the rooms on each side should be the bathrooms. The bathrooms are accessed through the hall way, not the bedrooms. The single toilet room should be at the end of the hall pass the other rooms. It’s a simple design but it would be easy to build and maintain. I worked construction for four years and I learned a lot on what would work best for me. Shit I’d draw it out and show you if I could. Small windows for heat efficiency.

1 AntwortenI went to college for architecture (didn't finish), and have had an idea in my head for my house for a long time. The only thing is, the garage I'd want is as big as the house.

I've been around the world A couple of times or maybe more I've seen the sights, I've had delights On every foreign shore But when my mates all ask me The place that I adore I tell them right away Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A sheep or two, a kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair You can see me in the kitchen Cooking up a roast Or Vegemite on toast Just you and me, a cup of tea And later on, we'll settle down And go out on the porch And watch the possums play Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A sheep or two, a kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair There's a Safeways up the corner And a Woolies down the street And a brand new place they've opened up Where they regulate the heat But I'd trade them all tomorrow For a little bush retreat Where the kookaburras call Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A bong or two, with a kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair Some people like their houses With fences all around Others live in mansions And some beneath the ground But me I like the bush you know With rabbits running round And a pumpkin vine out the back Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A sheep or two, a kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair (*≧▽≦)ノシ))

4 AntwortenA 3 bedroom one level house in say North Florida with a rotating wind shearing shield and a very very very deep retention area close by. Made of reinforced concrete and top of the line mirrored tinted windows. An invisible dog fence for my guard Pugs, lol you know you're scared. The best water heater money can buy and a glass block shower room with a ceiling that let's in the sunshine, I love shower time, sooooo relaxing and there is never enuff hotwater😳 plus I'd have a hotub outside in the open air facing the beautiful gulf. Oh man, a mini fridge with Corona and Heineken. Gimme a local pizza joint close by too... Please make this real... pleeeease😃

4 AntwortenA hobbit hole. Similar to Bag End, but with a twist: it can go back to looking like the hill it was before with the press of a button, as well as it has a lower level with weapons and other stuff that you’d need to survive down there for several months. Out in some woods, with lots of land surrounding the house. Preferably somewhere northern.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Panchificus: 3/24/2019 12:42:39 AMI honestly would prefer a smaller kind of home. Something quaint with at least 2 bedrooms. Either a small house with a good amount of land or a really nice apartment.
