Is this plain and simple enough for you to understand? How much more do we have to say about this topic. Upvote please get this on the top of the forums!
Update: great response! Let’s see if anyone at the top acknowledge this post.
Update: well we got an answer but no real change, let’s face it the game is about $$$$ and that’s all. Streamers provide free advertising and that’s it. Side note I looked but not one of the money grubbing streamers replied to post (I could be wrong) but that just shows you they are not in touch with the community.

No one represents me except King Disastrous!

Totally agree.

I mean... I’ll be streaming D2 again soon so... is this something I should be worried about?

Remove Milestones and make the main source of powerful drops the NF or Raids. This chasing milestones for an RNG based reward is too time consuming especially if the current loot system keeps rewarding duplicate slot items for every milestone. How are players expected to progress when 4 pairs of powerful engrams decrypted into gauntlets at the same level as the previous set of gauntlets. Why 4 games of prime for 1 engram then 3 games of normal gambit for another. Why not 1 powerful for gambit and let the player choose which mode to attain it. So much wasted time when we should be enjoying playing the game instead of chasing engrams in activities we dislike. Give a player the choice to attain a powerful by either doing a raid or playing trials etc. Give the PvP and pve players a choice in which play style in which to gain their loot. Stop with the do everything attitude and let us play the game how we choose. Not everyone is a PvP fan and not everyone likes the PVE side. Choose one path on a engram loot path each week instead of chase this chase that just for RNG to screw us over doing activities we dislike. Minimise the damn milestone chase, it’s getting dumb now

You see that fallen in my profile pic ? That’s Gary . He’s been humping for the last two months through bush that would makes Cambodia look like Kansas . He’s got jungle rot on his left foot and can’t seem to keep the wildlife from snuggling up next to his junk. You think Gary gives two shits about a streamers convention , -blam!- no!!!. He’s not out here smashing “Like” buttons and begging for subscriptions ; he’s out here obliterating guardians and pissing on their lore . If you are wondering if his voice is silky smooth to keep you enthralled for 10 minutes at a time , well I’m here to tell you it ain’t . Half the time , I don’t know what the -blam!- he’s saying because it’s mostly just clicks and the sound you make when your taking a dump. All I know is Gary has traveled through the winter wasteland , free climbed jagged cliffs , and now has been bitten more times in places we don’t want to talk about then a guardian has been killed by a weak ass team that always wants to wipe . Ain’t no wipes here!!! Gary has one chance, one opportunity and there ain’t no vomit on his sweater. He’s on a mission and I pity the fool who gets in his way . What does he want and where is he going ? Wouldn’t you like to know ? #Gary gets it done!!!

32 AntwortenThey are much more representative of the community than you. These are people with over a hundred thousand followers that at the least somewhat agree with their views given that they are subscribing to their channels. Who do you represent?
-
6 Antworten😂 the game is dead because less streamers play it. And they don’t play it because Bungie do not listen. Streamers know, developers should listen. Broken record, but bring back 3v3 elimination. This will increase the volume of players. The game mode was great, no need to change it (you dont see the rules of basketball changing just for the sake of it!). With regards to PVE, I don’t care. PVP is what will bring the player base back.

I wish I could invite THE DEVS into my living room and do a D2 walkthrough with them for 2 days. Start to finish Destiny for Me. Just the facts.
-
2 AntwortenI think they represent the community much better than random surveys or whatever you guys are asking for. These forums talked all kinds of shit about the last summit but forsaken turned out great.
-
I notice a lot of irony with this community, particularly pertaining to representation. People say that YouTubers and streamers don’t represent them, yet they quote videos all the time to prove a point.
-
To be fair, Bungie has invited players before that have shown dedication to the game. That one guy that played ungodly amounts of Gambit comes to mind.

5 AntwortenIf Bungie would actually look at the forums they wouldn’t need a summit

2 AntwortenLets be real here. What's actually going to happen is just like last time they'll surround them selves with their yes men who will give them encouragement to yield to the worst possible aspect of their natures. The result will be even more restrictive gameplay, an even longer grind, and every piece of gear will take exponentially more enhancement cores for each and every upgrade you place on it until you have to throw the weapon or armor in the trash because you can't afford to upgrade it anymore. Last time it was okay for them to listen to a bunch of grind hard try hard yesmen because it wasn't Bungle's ass cheeks on the line. Activision had them covered so they were free to make as many terrible predictably community destroying decisions as they felt like, and make no mistake, no matter how badly I dislike Activison, in Cozmo's words "We made this game and are responsible for it's content", not, again, not, activision. Now that activision has thrown them out on their ass and kicked Destiny out with them, they keep making those kind of mistakes, it's not just the end of Destiny for us the players, it's the end of Bungie as a thing that continues to exist. By the way, for those who will argue. Activision has stated on record they sold Destiny to Bungie because they felt the game was no longer capable of meeting "material revenue" or "growth" goals. You can personally believe anything you want. But activision thinks the game has failed beyond Bungie's capacity to repair it. It's up to Bungie now to prove them wrong, and if they continue to make a game that's only rewarding for about 5% of the community, they might as well start packing.

Well in all honesty streamers don't represent me and the only part of the community the streamers even listen to and take ideas from to take to the summit are their subscribers not their followers :) People who throw money at them... And they are Bungie's PR system so of course they will invite streamers and plus the forum is full of toxic people now.. I don't see anything changing anytime soon when it comes to streamers and youtubers with Bungie! So good luck with this campaign :P

66 AntwortenProbably an unpopular opinion, but I’d like to see a bunch of forum users go instead. Less brown nosing and more truth. It could turn nasty but that’d be entertaining to me.

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von Jerico_7suns: 3/15/2019 5:18:29 PMStreamers have the most to profit when hardcore play is rewarded. They benefit from significant skill gaps and time investment between themselves and the average player. The streamer will always knowingly or unknowingly advocate for larger gaps so they can draw a larger audience by striving to be the the first and the best in the game. I believe at times that they do have the interests of the community at the forefront but it's not intentional; rather coincidental. When their position is intentional it's usually to separate their play from the sheeple which makes the game harder for the sheeple.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von New_zZzomBie: 3/16/2019 8:37:27 AMWhy? Cozmo plz don't listen to these numb skulls. D2 > Warmind > Forsaken was so much better thanks to the die hardest of fans (what streamers are) input. These kids just want someone to blame. They think streamers wanted cores and Nonsense for infusion. They blame them for luna. All this stuff 90% of streamers don't support They also have no idea you use data, forums, community feedback, local input, Casuals, Streamers etc and take it all in consideration I hope you use Streamers the most. Most want the end game to thrive D2 launch was due to these Idiots not knowing what they Want. Don't take these people seriously they don't what they are talking about

Bearbeitet von New_zZzomBie: 3/16/2019 8:37:39 AMThey can represent me just fine. Id rather them than you.
-
3 AntwortenI mean who ARE they supposed to invite to the summit!?!? Just any random no name guardian? Not that our voices shouldn't be heard but I mean, I get what they're doing here.
-
Let Vanguard chair the PvP side.
-
2 AntwortenLike 2 streamers? Lul

Taking a break from Destiny, also Twitch just got bored of the grind running the same things week after week, month after month and watching it on Twitch. Chasing the new weapons that we all had in Destiny1, maybe Bungie takes them away again at the start of Destiny3 just to dip feed them once more. Why do car companies give press car to Youtubers nothing more than to promote and advertising their product? Bungie is good at hearing but not listening.
-
4 AntwortenThey've already tried listening to the content creators and it didn't work. Youd think they'd have learnt a lesson 💩
-
18 AntwortenIf it wasn't for streamers destiny 2 wouldn't have been fixed from super casual mode year 1... Forsaken is the result of streamers representing us. If you dislike what destiny 2 has become then maybe its just time to move on to a more casual game... i hear Anthem is a great casual game go play that...🙄🙄

If the community vacated Bungie, Streamers couldn’t carry their products.
