Is this plain and simple enough for you to understand? How much more do we have to say about this topic. Upvote please get this on the top of the forums!
Update: great response! Let’s see if anyone at the top acknowledge this post.
Update: well we got an answer but no real change, let’s face it the game is about $$$$ and that’s all. Streamers provide free advertising and that’s it. Side note I looked but not one of the money grubbing streamers replied to post (I could be wrong) but that just shows you they are not in touch with the community.

1 AntwortenThey sure don't. Destiny 2 as it stands is a direct result of 'community feedback'. When they have this community -- streamer summit, who is going to represent the solo players? Who is the streamer that's going to bring up enhancement cores or how much of chore D2 has become? No one because it's the D2 they wanted. Bungie, if you want feedback, take it from everyone; hardcore, casual, solo, and group players.

4 Antwortenstreamers dont represent anyone really , except annoying streamers
-
I don’t particularly care who represents the community. It’d probably be worse if forumers we’re allowed in because 90% would be counter constructive crap. If streamers represent it then so be it. I will only complain about any crappy feedback given by the streamers.

6 Antwortenlisten bro the game caters to casuals which is not good bungie should listen to streamers because they are normally top tier players nobody wants to play a pvp that caters to casuals
-
I'm gonna have to disagree. Streamers no matter small, or big..have a huge community, and following at times. Especially a lot of Destiny 2 streamers whether it's someone out there known in the community, or not..has people they probably talk to daily (multiple at that) about how they feel about Destiny, and what they would like to see. And not even just that, they also get other people's feelings and thoughts on the content as well. I've seen it a lot. So for one to say "STREAMERS DO NOT REPRESENT THE COMMUNITY!" is silly thinking. They represent just as much as anyone else who lives and plays Destiny.

1 AntwortenAnd I hate that these Destiny YouTubers are basically getting free sh*t. Notice how every D2 YouTuber has every new gun within the first week? It's because Bungie does something to their account to increase RNG.

They don't represent me...

Bungie doesn't give a -blam!-

2 AntwortenIm going to a Division 2 summit that Ubisoft does. Im a nobody. ALL I have is a small Facebook group of about 400 people only from my own small country in eastern Europe. Since the release of Division 2 Ubisoft got in touch with us (they have an office in my city) - gave us merch and game codes for us to make a Resistance contest and the winners got The Division 2 standard eddition and every one else who participat get The Division 2 merch ... Now on 29th this month me and the rest moderators and administrators were invited to go to a The Division 2 summit which Ubisoft does in every city they have an office in. They told us it will be like a party Division themed - we will play the upcoming DLCs and tallk about them give inside of what we want in the game, what we like and dislike. See the difference? Ubisoft found us, gave us thons of shit and game codes, invited us ... all we do is play the game and have a group in Facebook, we are not streamers we are all normal players and I am sure we are not the only ones ... meanwhile Bungo invites only the bootlickers and the top of the streamers to what seems to be not a summit for the game but a summit on how to sell more. No one of the people on that summit likes or plays the game like 99.99% of the people - they sell - they sell clicks, likes, follows, DLCs, season passes, microtransaction currency and whatnot. This is why Destiny is shit ... because it's just a product made to sell - not a product made out of love and for fun. Thats all thats in their heads how to sell you more shit you don't need. Thats why they need streamers to tell them how to make content that sells ... and I say - -blam!- this! Give me a reason to download 90 gb again since I uninstalled Destiny 2 long time ago ...
-
I remember sometime around taken king they actually sent out an email containing a survey asking for general feedback... Why do we need a summit if they can just send out a mass email, and advertise that they did so on the forums/reddit... Why?
-
Bungie forgot the real reason. Destiny 1 was the game which made the streamers and youtubers known for their videos. And now Bungie needs to consult them to make Destiny 3? It's ridiculous.
-
I've watch some of the you tubers and streamers and I don't want them to represent me or my opinion.
-
3 AntwortenStreamers get info about new content from Bungie for free , marketing is nr,1 priority for Bungie. Destiny streamers can make or brake the game. Streamers influence is huge, they are an important part of Destiny community.
-
3 AntwortenStreamers represent a portion of the community. There are probably millions of players who play D2 in a way that doesn't come anywhere near to the way a streamer plays. That "casual" majority deserves input as well. I'm not saying you make D2 easier, but some of us play a ton of hours and don't stream or get to do much endgame content, but we still play a ton.
-
You are right they represent their own financial interests and not the betterment of the game. That’s why a lot of content is locked out and there is not solo or fireteam matchmaking for all activities.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kanashimi510: 3/15/2019 4:52:51 PMA streamer would abandon this game faster than the most casual of players the second another game will make them a better profit, yet you think they should have the loudest voice? 🤔
-
It's Ironic they need other people to collect feedback for them.

2 AntwortenTheres a feedback forum for a reason....
-
They should invite the players that have been playing this game since day 1 consistently. They have been there for the good and bad. They probably have good suggestions for whats best for the game. Players that play with friends for fun instead of players that play for a living. I’m ok with streamers but they should include regular joes from the forums too.

But they do. Deej said so himself. About the tie of the release of D2, he was asked where he takes input from. It wasn’t gamers like you and me. No. He said he takes feedback from Streamers and the leaders of the largest clans. Better start petitioning Datto for the changes you want.

The cyber panhandlers are probably the biggest contributing factor to ruining the gaming industry outside of corporate greed. There's some things the world can just do without...can a brotha get an Amen.
-
“I’ll pass this feedback along to the team”
-
I wish I could go. I would make sure the community is heard. Problem is I know I won't get to go.

No one represents me except King Disastrous!
