Incase you missed this nugget, there is apparently another community summit coming that of course is streamers/content creators only...... AGAIN.......
Once again this proposed summit is to take place March 27-29. To discuss Season 7 and other future content..
Here is what I expect will be the first question the streamers/YouTubers will ask .... Future if Trials of The Nine/Osiris?
Not the hot button topics that populate this feedback forum such as Enhancement Core/ Infusion System Issues, the latest NERF( UNCALLED FOR BTW) patch, the OP Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten, PvP steps in quest lines(cuz Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten dominant crucible), and my personal favorite RECYCLED CONTENT FROM D1....
I personally don't see a point to have a D3 or expansion beyond the season content. D2 has been a utter disappointment that just can't seem to get anything right.
What say you community, is D2 dead or dying?
-
Streamers at bungie...more NERFS incoming, boys and girls!!!!! And even more grind and repetitive missions as well...
-
Are Destiny streamers in general still getting views? PVE wise there can’t be too much of interest to watch anymore unless you’re a competitive gambit fan. I suppose people could be living vicariously through some pvp streamer, but I would think that would be getting quite old as well. Perhaps even the streamers will realize that many of their recommendations ended in less people playing the game rather than more viewers and subscribers. Or, as you said, they’ll just beg for Trials to come back.
-
Trials is a hot topic, though. Mostly everyone that wants it back has left the franchise. Most streamer and you tubers know a lot of community complaints because they actually engage with the community, so the other topics would most definitely come up.

Bungie will not be successful long term if they continually decide to alienate the majority of players in favor of a very small percentage of the community.
-
You are 100% correct, instead of inviting streamers and tubers to this summit, maybe they should get input from players who aren’t motivated by hits and numbers and selling carries.
-
Someone needs to make a post with the title “Player Satisfaction Survey” or something like that. Get it trending and maybe Bungie will listen. MAYBE.
-
Sauce? I would like to read more about this new summit. But one thing you should realize is that Bungie disrespects everyone equally. The only reason why Bungie panders to streamers is because they promote their game. The streamers and content creators are billboards on legs for Bungie whereas the default player is nothing but an entitled wallet to milk.

Well when u own ur own development studio u can invite whoever u want, until then keep up the salt.

Bearbeitet von Loot: 3/14/2019 3:55:48 PM... Except everything you mentioned in the hot button topic section of your post are just your opinions, not everyone has a problem with cores, just don't waste them forehead, Luna and NF are obnoxious, but not OP, not everyone has a problem with old exotics being brought back, and finally, not everyone dislikes the changes that came in the latest patch, which weren't all nerfs...
not included in the DLC
Bearbeitet von madmax0707: 3/14/2019 3:27:46 PMD2 is shite, but d1 wasn’t no great shakes either They scrooched the pooch on d2 both years, nothing they can do to recover, except for fan boys, they lap that offal up and beg for more Unfortunately for bungle there aren’t enough fanboys to truly support game and take it to next level Don’t think mass numbers will come back now and beyond unless game is free and we are able to buy gear once you hit certain level People are sick and tired of grinding for a weapon only to have all that time wasted due to bungles nerf squad We live in an everyone wants everything now society,

They gave into streamers & so called hard core players last time so I can only imagine the cluster -blam!- that destiny 2 is going to become with the same old crap of competitive play / gambit garbage and they still won’t fix the problems in this game even though the community has been screaming for months for them to fix their shit but as twisted as I I’am ..... I’m still hoping that bungie can pull a rabbit out of their arse & finally get things right for once
-
2 Antwortenthey probably won't ask the devs about their plans to remove RNG from seals and triumphs either.
-
1 Antwortenwhy dont they get ppl that been with them since halo 1 to give insight instead of streamers, i myself been there since the start and im still here, but hey im not a streamer what do i know, what does everyone who has been playing since halo 1 know? smh thats bungie for you.
-
1 AntwortenYeah they’ll probably add another thing to infusion to “make it matter more” adding cores to infusion was the stupidest thing this game has Evers done.
-
If anyone is reading this that's going to the summit please ask for -new worlds -new strikes -new enemy races -new pvp modes (like griffball and infection) -a voice for our guardians -a way for D1 players to bring all of their old gear into D2

Bearbeitet von FataLVisioN_Oo: 3/14/2019 3:41:16 PMNothing you named off is a hot button topic to me lol Cores are plentiful, not forgotten isn't OP, PvP weapons should have PvP quest lines, d1 weapons while kinda lame they came back give me more to grind for aside from pinnacle weapons and the other new exotic weapons. What's up with people's obsession with games dying? I guess anthem killed destiny 😂 oh wait 🤔.... that game is terrible.

You have to remember the feedback from the last summit gave us warmind and forsaken changes that made them the best releases of d2. Forge and drifter releases were all bungies doing. A summit is not a bad thing to happen but some lesser known, lesser playtime people going would be good. Unfortunately bungie cannot do research on these potential unknowns as for just that, they would be unknown and no way to judge if their opinion is worth anything.

Just so you know, there are a ton of streamers that are frustrated about the same issues that we are like bloom for handcannons on console, Luna's and NF being the majority of the guns used in QP (because they are rarely seen in comp at this point with recluse being better than both of them), going up against a 6 stack in QP and your team being a bunch of blueberries. I hear them talk about it all the time with their channels. Enhancement cores aren't a big deal, just do scrapper bounties and buy them from the spider everyday or just keep your powerful gear on and wait to infuse. They listened to us by the way with the thorn quest, you could do PvP or PvE for every step except 1 of them and it wasn't even that hard (I finished the 500 points in 10 games). And you don't like old exotics returning? What about the players that love their old guns and armor and wanted them back? Are you just going to tell them to suck it up if they get a bunch of new exotics that aren't even that good and say they wish they would bring back their favorite guns for example Thorn and TLW? This is by far the best Destiny 2 has ever been if you haven't noticed. The reason why they invite streamers and content creators is because they are notable Destiny players and they hear our frustration everyday when we watch their videos and lots of them feel the same way and Bungie knows that which is why they select them and not some random poster on the forums who is probably going to be selfish with what they complain about.

"Core Community" #Defined
-
2 AntwortenSupposedly, they actually invited regular players too. But I know how you guys hate streamers so I'll let you complain as much as you want but I will say this. Some of those streamers actually have their audience and other players interest in mind, some of them actually care about making the game better for EVERYONE, so to lump them all in as scum who are selfishly having the game made for themselves is just incorrect. If there is no community, there is no game, they understand that. If they tell bungie to make a crappy experience, their viewers will also stop watching their content, because they will quit the game and have no inerect in viewimg it. These guys arent all bad people who don't care about other players. Sorry, go ahead, I won't interrupt again.

10 Antworten
the OP Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten, PvP steps in quest lines(cuz Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten dominant crucible)
Totally disagree, they are 3 tap cannons in general and only if you chain 2 headshots and have the possibility of being a 2 shot if you kill someone with bullet #1 and chain a second and third on player 2. Which is perfectly acceptable when thorn can 2 tap as well, as can service revolver and many other weapons can compete, including bygones, inagurul, trust, west of sunfall and others. It's not the guns, but by all means keep blaming them

Bearbeitet von SnakePayne86: 3/14/2019 5:17:03 PMI don’t remember streamers and YouTube being that big when the game first came out, it’s not like the game is better because of them.

People “leave” Destiny all the time. I also see many new or returning players all the time as well.
-
Trials is the only thing they need to discuss
