Incase you missed this nugget, there is apparently another community summit coming that of course is streamers/content creators only...... AGAIN.......
Once again this proposed summit is to take place March 27-29. To discuss Season 7 and other future content..
Here is what I expect will be the first question the streamers/YouTubers will ask .... Future if Trials of The Nine/Osiris?
Not the hot button topics that populate this feedback forum such as Enhancement Core/ Infusion System Issues, the latest NERF( UNCALLED FOR BTW) patch, the OP Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten, PvP steps in quest lines(cuz Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten dominant crucible), and my personal favorite RECYCLED CONTENT FROM D1....
I personally don't see a point to have a D3 or expansion beyond the season content. D2 has been a utter disappointment that just can't seem to get anything right.
What say you community, is D2 dead or dying?
-
5 AntwortenThe reason why average gamers arent involved in the summit is because streamers/ content creaters and Bungie have the same interest, profit. Last time Bungie had the community this upset they called a summit and the community fell in line behind the streamers/ content creaters. They are simply trying to pull the same trick twice.
-
D2 been dead. We're just reviving ourselves with our ghosts to barely play the game and it just dies again. It's boring and a disappointment. They say they listen to community feed back, but nah. They listen like 30% of the time, but other than that they don't do diddly squat. I guess when they admitted that it was hard for them to make the game we wanted it to be was true. I genuinely think it is really hard for them. Not preordering anything from them or buying dlcs until price drops significantly. I use to be a veteran from all the way when the ghost revived us for the first time, but that was when I had hope for Bungie. D3 is a no no for me if they didn't learn anything.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Muka Gatals: 3/14/2019 4:37:17 PMSo..they just want input from those that represent 0.01% Destiny players?? They should get input from those represent 99.99% players instead. Those that does not play this game anymore or those that play this game less and less. Send them email. Invite the Older gamer. Those that in their 50 and Up. Or...If Bunji smart...they can get input from the 0.01%...then inverse or negate it. For instance: 1. if they ask Raid mechanic should have more boring jumping puzzles...Bunji just make less Jumping or make the jumps easier and fun and make more shooting instead. 2. If they ask to reward the High K/D PVP players get reward super Gjalarhorn than can wipe whole enemy team twice per rocket. Then Bunji reward the Gun to those that Low K/D and give the High K/D with Rocket that Kill the player if they miss. Bunji should never care to the High K/D PVP players...They just fine with nothing. They already have fun killing other players more. Bunji should care more to average players...those represent 99% players. Its better to lose the 0.01 % rather than losing the 99.99%. I bet the 0.01% will stick here even if they don't have LH, NF. Bunji should make the skill gap smaller. In PVP players should use the same Gun set. Spawn with the same amount of ammo (Special and Heavy). The ammo will never dropped or lose. You only lose those ammo if you use it. So the Higher skilled player will never get fed with ammo drop from the opponent that get killed. Primary ammo will be infinity. If a player get killed...they will get 1 extra special ammo. Rocket have the proximity. Lower the damage different between Head and body shot. Bunji need to Stop focus rewarding the High skilled players. Focus to give fun to majority players. The average. Not the High skilled. Its Bunji chose...want the 99% back to play...or keep feeding the 1%. Remember..People buy this game for FUN. Not for stress. Not every one like stressful competitive game. Because we do that at work all day...we just need FUN POWER FANTASY game after work. And No...the 99% does not make money by playing video game. We spend money on video game. And we don't play video game 24/7 either.

The way that I see it is that content creators have a wide audience, and often bring the problems that their audience has with the game along with them to the summit The alternative is to have community managers on 24/7 responding to every complaint, but because they have no power over development they can't say much. Or... Fly out random players to Bungie HQ

You know something like the annual pass was going to be bad when on the stream they announced it and one of the developers fumbles on what it will bring to the game. Not only that but the look in his eyes when he is asked to describe it, priceless...
-
People they invite are content creators. They say what THEY want in the game. They need to invite people who are NOT streamers, content creators, or both.

*concerned*

7 AntwortenExcept that the entire community is divided on some of those issues. Enhancement cores need a rethink. Personally I just think they need to remove or reduce the cost of using them to infuse, you don’t want to make them redundant but using them for infusion means I never have any for what I want them for. Not enough loot and simply re-releasing D1 stuff 2 years down the line is an issue for sure. Exotic imbalance is a real problem. Sidearms have almost been abandoned at this point with only one exotic sidearm in the game since launch through 5 expansions and no buffs to the weapon class. On the flip side, we’ve had countless handcannons. But pinnacle weapons are cool and there is absolutely no issue with LH or NF or the fact that you have quest steps tied to crucible (as long as they are crucible based weapons). There needs to be more incentive to keep more skilled players in the competitive playlist so that quickplay is less dominated by superior players with superior weapons but I do [not think making QP SBMM is the answer. Instead we should implement a more meaningful ranking system or armour sets with perks and cosmetics like neon decals that change colour with glory rank, all of which only work in the comp playlist. Similar things should also exist for Nightfalls and Raids. I think some of the ideas implement in Gambit Prime are really cool, just a shame that it was for a game mode that splits the user base.

I can’t wait for Destiny to become even more of a full time job than it already is. Have to make sure the streamers have something to do while they’re playing all day everyday, screw everyone else.

5 Antwortenwhat you have to believe, or at least try to keep in mind, is that these well-known players (streamers/content creators) have followings of casuals constantly giving them feedback on the game (and feedback on their feedback as well). I've seen that some of the people who have ackowledged on twitter they are attending will be bringing feedback from their chats/community, made of casual gamers. Bungie has no intention of making the game more casual because then it becomes too easy --> fewer daily players. in a grindy game like this is they will always lean towards more grind > more casual. plus, some of the things you are arguing for in this post specifically will never be addressed and are just complaints that they wouldn't listen to anyway. We have a D2, so they are going to recycle D1 content. Will they do it going forward with a D3? IDK. Enhacment cores/infusion is part of the treadmill to extend playtime, that isn't going away either. I played a lot when there wasn't much to do and amassed a lot of cores by playing the game. I am rewarded for my time investment. that's unfortunately how its set up and I dont think they will change that much. Pinnacle weapons will never get nerfed. And lastly, you say D2 has been an utter dissapointment, and I think the first 8 months of the game that was true, but everything from Warmind up to now has been fantastic and what most Destiny fans had been hoping D2 would be. The Annual Pass model gives me hope because I think this is the perfect system for this type of game. Large content releases with scattered content throughout the year

Gladd is going and I actually trust him more than anybody
-
10 AntwortenIts a good thing. Could you imagine inviting toxic , whiny kids from the forums who cry all day? Streamers has to be the way to go
-
People like you make this game die
-
Don't fret young child, we'll all be playing Borderlands 3 by then :)
-
6 AntwortenSo you think it would be better to ask people on these forums? Have you read the forums lately, that would be a disaster. The last summit brought Bungie to make Forsaken and correct me if I am wrong, but that was the best thing that happened to Destiny 2.
-
7 Antworten
the latest NERF( UNCALLED FOR BTW) patch
The latest patch had more buffs than nerfs. Last I checked they invited people like Lost Sols to the last summit. Such a streamer. For something like this, where you sit down and presumably go deep into discussion about how shit works, you want two things: a) People who play a lot of Destiny and *understand* how it works b) People who talk to a lot of people who play Destiny and *understand* what they want. I don't pay attention to streamers because i generally don't believe in celebrity worship, but I sure as -blam!- believe they have better opinions than any given rando off #Feedback.
-
Thank god! I know 3v3 elimination trials will be a big topic, best news all week!!
-
18 AntwortenAfter the last summit, we get Forsaken, Destiny 2's best and biggest expansion. It's possible that after this summit, Y3 will be phenomenal. Just like everything else though, dont go in with any expectations, and you wont be disappointed.
-
As long as anyone says cores need to go and breaks the dev team's arrogance, I'm fine
-
6 AntwortenAnother Summit? They could just create surveys and mail them out to everyone, get the feedback, filter the unnecessary garbage info out, and then make an informed decision from there. Far better to have the voices of many to filter through, they "are" listening to us, right? They do want our feedback?
-
I think it's a good idea. It will speed up the process of ending this game's life. They will gear the game more towards a smaller group of people that live on this game and alienate anyone that can't play 16 hours a day. I won't buy D3 unless Penumbra is an actual DLC, which I know it won't be, but I need story and strikes and better PvP and maps. I've only played about 30 minutes in the past month and see now reason to log in daily like I used to.
-
Thank god , I know for a fact 3v3 trials will be a big topic. Best news in a long time !!!
-
I have a prior engagement, so I won't be going.
-
I hope they bring up balance so people can stop crying. D3 doesn't have to happen so longs as bungie keeps constant paid dlc and it will help to actually add cosmetics i can specifically buy directly.
-
3 AntwortenSo it takes place at the same time as the Borderlands 3 reveal, pax East. Yeah, GG Bungo.
-
Streamers at bungie...more NERFS incoming, boys and girls!!!!! And even more grind and repetitive missions as well...
