Leveling? Are you even paying attention Bungie?
Completed every milestone this week and only received a two light level jump. This leveling system is a joke, not to mentioned 15 straight duplicate exotics. 👍 good work bungie.

5 AntwortenI can't tell you the number of times I get powerful engrams that are of the same class of the last powerful engram I just received (i.e. 651 chest and then another rather than a pair of gauntlets, a kinetic weapon, etc). This random acquisition of powerful gear has been a drag on leveling from day 1 of D1. Why is is so hard to weight the drop item to buff the lowest slot? Or at a minimum not give you a duplicate in the same slot? Yeah - I get it - but then I would be leveling up "too" fast. Guess what - with leveling this slow, I may not even bother with Season of the Drifter. Chances are we'll get a power level catch up in season 7 just like we did season 6.

Okokokok, wait a minute! I agree that the leveling is bullshit and unnecessary as it is right now. But, in no way did you get 15 straight duplicates (I havent even had one to drop for weeks now) and only 2 light levels? If you did all milestones, thats impossible to achieve. I did half of them and no raids or PVP, and I got 9 levels! Even with the broken +1 drops.... So please, be realistic! Otherwise, noone will take you serious ;)

It's a known bug. Doesn't make it okay that it exists to begin with, but it certainly doesn't give you a reason to whine. Even without the bug, Raids still give huge Power increases as do Prime Engrams. A lot of people have already crossed the 670 barrier. Why do these forums have to paint the picture as if Bungie is some terrifying and cruel overlord that torments the players while they roam a bleak wasteland? The negativity here is astounding.

6 AntwortenAll you clan members should be fine leveling up. It's the players who just do the public events, bounties, adventures, and quests that are really getting screwed. I've done heroic left and right and only get rare gear about 20 LL UNDER my current LL. Every now and then I get a legendary masterwork that may give me an enhancement core or 2. I just quit after going to Nessus. I ran into Acadian Mind (a hydra) and by myself almost took it out. 3 other players showed up and got the last couple killing shot, one of them even died when it blew up in his face. I read that they all received something. I got 500 some glimmer and 2 planet resources for doing all the work. That has happened MANY times to me. This is why sometimes I will just take a shot at something and let everyone else do the work. I've got prime engrams that way. Of course, prime engrams don't amount to much now after the last update. Nice gameplay Bungie.

6 AntwortenSo apparently the "bug" will be "fixed" in two weeks .... after the 690 T3 activity launches. I mean, you might nearly suspect that this is another case of artificially gating progression for the vast majority of the player base to make sure that only those who are playing 30 hour weeks will get day 1 access to new activities. Why not fix it asap? Finding it very difficult to believe that this was unintentional to be honest.

3 AntwortenI've done about 2/3 of the weakly garbage. I'm up to 655+. I've received about 6 helmets though, so that's slowed things down. I don't even bother to upgrade the +1s. Those get straight nuked.

You have to play more, you know, play everything you just completed over the last few months again, but more times, double your hours and you too can level to 700 for no good reason. Oh wait, Iron Banner, yeah, there’s that if you like a bunch of mediocre weapons and ugly armor.

To be totally honest the biggest jump seems to only be from prime engrams.

That's a load of BS. I did almost every milestone minus the PvP and gambit ones and I'm almost 660.
