So after my first year with Bungie. NOW! I’m banned. I wasn’t banned when I was losing in competitive. Only when I started to get better and win a few games. People report players JUST because they lose. My ISP is u-verse. They have internet that constantly drops. Their internet service is poor not matter you do. Upgrade equipment or call a tech to come out. Bad internet is bad internet how is this a players fault? Ok let’s switch providers. Who’s paying for that? Not Bungie. I just think a ban on players who can’t control horrible internet just isn’t fair to an extent. Your saying it’s a negative impact and I understand. What about people that do account recoveries? That’s a negative impact. Making it harder for people to get their weapons because competitive is flooded with hardcore gamers. No ban there right? I get it I’ll wait for my ban to be lifted but I’ll still be stuck with bad internet. So more than likely. Banned permanently. Just don’t think that’s 100 percent fair to players who just can’t afford to up and switch or drop $60 for tech visits

Just quit playing man. They are restricting alot of players from half the game and they are fine with it. Bungie doesnt know what dedicated servers are apparently. It would solve all of these issues but no. I quit playing. Been almost a month. Feels good

This happened to me as well. I have bad internet connection not because of my ISP but because of where I live. I usually stay away from crucible when my internet connection becomes too bad. So two days ago I tried to play on my mobile connection instead which was stable with no issues. This allowed me to play better and I was on a long winning streak in competitive. Next day I found out I got temporarily banned from the crucible. What?????

6 AntwortenSo if you know your internet is bad, why are you playing pvp and/or competitive? You playing pvp activities on a bad internet is potentially ruining the experience of anywhere from 7-11 other players.

2 AntwortenIm in the same position as you bro. Honestly im starting to think that Bungie just collect reports that a good player recieves in crucible and assume that the good players are causing an issue for all the clueless players struggling against players with skill. In addtition, Not one of the workers at bungie are good at crucible anyway so they just punish skilled players and restrict them from playing anymore. They'll always deny that, but its true becuase it only happens to GOOD PLAYERS and not the blue berries that run around aimlessly not knowing the basic mechanics of a shooter. If Bungie do actually check your networking issues to decide whether a player should be banned, show me or send me evidence because this is only happening to PVP players that dedicate their time into improving their gun skill and not the guilty players that DDOS, lag switch and hack the game for 'fun'.
