Gambit is not what I bought into

I got into Destiny for a shared experience in an open world. Not Gambit. If I wanted PvP I'd have downloaded Fortnite or Black Ops. Bye Bungie. You've lost another long time player. Edit 1:. For all the literalists out there, yes, I did pay for the seasons pass; and, yes, I did relalize that Gambit would be "included" in the content for this season. I was hoping that it wasn't essentially ALL of the content for the season. (And while the Reckoning is not Gambit per se, it is tied inextricably with continuing to play Gambit). Further, when I say Gambit is not what I bought into, I mean overall, as in the universe of Destiny. My critique is of the inexorable movement toward sweaty 10 minute "matches" rather than open world co-op exploration. I would point back at Destiny's original tease that shows not one, but three, fire teams taking on a spider tank, in an open world. I keep hoping against hope that Bungie will actually make a game like they originally indicated. And some of the content has come close. But then there is the current season's pass: small activities, rinse and repeat tactics, extremely limited environments. Boring. Uninteresting. And not what I "originally" bought in to.
