Though this may never happen, the outcome of what could happen remains the same.
Keep trying to fix and add content to D2 which is dying, and lose players.
Or focus all efforts on D3 while COMMUNICATING with the community about what went right and wrong with D1 and D2 on all forums (Reddit, Destiny, Twitter, YouTube etc.) Then before D3 releases give us a “Beta” for a solid 2 weeks to see all the new changes. Also have insanely detailed patch notes!
Even if Bungie drops D2 it will still cause you to lose players, many of which have lost all hope.
But, this won’t happen, even though I know for a fact the outcome will still be the same. Just looking at these forums every day, even on Destiny Reddit is hard for my stomach to handle. Even some of my favorite Destiny YouTubers/Streamers have slowed down on Destiny content.
I want to love Destiny, but the spark is just not there anymore.
