As far as my memory from around a month ago goes, I’m pretty sure you got decent drops up until around 550 - 600, when progression slows down.
But then it speeds back up since you’re the light to actually partake in raids like Last Wish.

Bearbeitet von name: 2/20/2019 3:40:31 PMafter a month grinding powerful engrams (crucible, gambit , vanguard) i kept getting items below my level (535) in those engrams, the fact i couldnt even play nightfall (what i wanted) after all the annoying grind (crucible & gambit which i hated) put me off the game

Bearbeitet von name: 2/21/2019 8:16:18 AMyes i did , got mostly lower parts than what i had equpped , lets say my average level was 535 , but i already had a higher helmet at 538 , then i got a powerful engram helmet at 536 which was useless , most of the drops were like this, not even speaking bout the insane amount of shitty grenade launchers i was always getting

Your PL is an average of your score. You weren't getting gear lower than your PL, just getting gear below your abnormally high helmet.
-
I’d like to see some evidence for that because in the space of a month I got above 600. Check destiny tracker for my evidence.
-
well, i started at level 304 because i skipped the two dlcs before forsaken
-
I started at around 350 because I stopped around warmind
-
im not sure how i could give you any evidence though, but what would be the benefit of making this up for me?
-
There is no benefit. I’m only in disbelief and that is all.
-
yea, im with you on that , never trust strangers on the internet :D
