Dear Bungie,
Reinstate SBMM for the love of god, I don't wish to play against sweaty, spotty nerds who don't have a life or a girlfriend all the time.
That is all.

331 AntwortenThis has always been a largely debated issue within the community. In the past, this entire board has been filled with "REMOVE SBMM" posts. There was a bug in the past that caused matchmaking in Quickplay to stop matching teams by players skill ratings. We received a lot of feedback to not change the experience. Thought we did fix the MM bug, we removed skill matching in Quickplay. It is still enabled in Competitive. We'll continue to monitor the feedback and player data. Feel free to share your opinions below.

I switched over the PSN to play with friends who enjoy the game. The player base on Xbox is lower and crucible is filled with good players. Just about everyone has LH or NF- every match. They earned it and the skill came with it. In PSN you have a much wider player base. That means you’ll have much more players are a lower skill level, along with players that are even higher skill level on Xbox. Xbox- higher average of skill PSN- encounter players that have greater skill

7 AntwortenYou're in the top 7% of players so reinstating SBMM would just make you play matches consistenting entirely of almost "sweaty nerds", making your matches more difficult than they are now.
-
The Bungo match makers can't do math so be careful of what you ask for
-
8 AntwortenBut... how would good player ever relax if they had to face people on their own level every game? Don’t you know they are doing lower-tier players a favor by pub stomping them? Don’t you know lower-tier players are supposed to welcome being fodder for k/d farmers, and that will make them want to play more? Read the comments that follow. That’s what they say. Any comment that begins its defense of no SBMM by telling lower-tier players, “What - you want success handed to you?!” is laughably self-defeating. It’s like this; those who want SBMM want fair matches. Those who argue against it don’t want fair matches. The particulars really don’t matter after that.

2 AntwortenI hear ya, but unless you have over 20,000+ subscribers on Youtube or Twitch, Bungie won't listen.
-
Yes bring back SBMM!
-
4 AntwortenThe lag for sbmm was horrid
-
16 AntwortenNo. CBMM is far, far superior. Games are laggy enough as is and rarely actually reach the score limit
-
1 AntwortenHow bout instead of everyone taking turns winning we actually have PvP where the better you are the better you do?
-
With how this kid cries even average players are sweaty to this soy boy 😂
-
Bro, the whole point of SBMM being removed was to make lobbies feel like less of a sweatfest. Putting it back is only going to make your problem worse.
-
109 AntwortenYou have SBMM in comp, Iron Banner, Crimson Doubles, etc... In fact, every game mode except QP has sbmm. It’s nice to have one playlist where improvements in skill are rewarded by improved stats rather than improved competition. I’m no pvp god, but I’m completely against this.

Bearbeitet von Dredgen Araphel: 2/13/2019 9:40:28 PMSBMM is the dumbest request i have ever seen. Destiny isn't a moba or have leagues so how do determine somebody's skill? K/D is poor tool to use to gauge somebody's skill because its just a collection of your total deaths and kills ever has nothing to do with skill. It would pointlessly increase queue times for nothing.im a 1.02 K/D according to destiny tracker but if you check my games how many of them are less than 1.20? My crucible emblem says im 1.38 but everyone uses destiny tracker. SSBMM is an impossible thing in shooters because there is no real rank system which is impossible to gauge on K/D. The solution would be to add a real rank mode that rises or decreases based on performance and match by rank.If the queue is vast the pull for higher ranks to balance. We need an elo system so that people who would be in bronze face the hard cold truth that they are bad and need to improve or stay in bronze.

No thanks.

7 AntwortenIs there any other user base that actually REQUESTS all skill-based matchmaking? Crazy. SBMM means every game is going to be a struggle to win. Feel free to spend a few hours in Competitive to see just what that experience is like. That's the playlist NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY precisely because it has SBMM. Bungie has to dangle some of the best weapons ever in D2 as rewards just to get anyone to play with SBMM. Competitive has all the SBMM you could want and more, so have a great time in there and leave Quickplay alone.
-
4 AntwortenSBMM has no place in pubs. I occasionally run into way better players and if I’m up to it I try my best to see how good I can do against them. If I’m not in the mood I simply back out. If the return SBMM to Quickplay this game is dead.
-
You do realize that since you are a top player enabling sbmm only means more sweaty matches for you in QP?
-
IT'S IN THE GAME. All you have to do is log into Destinytracker and look at the matchups you get. SBMM IS CLEARLY ENABLED. If you are matched up against a Fireteam of 4-6 players all bets are off because they do not handle those situations properly. They seem to think 1 Random Diamond player can carry five Silver and Bronze players against a Full Fireteam of Diamonds.

Bearbeitet von EXALTEDoreo: 2/13/2019 3:40:28 PMSick burn. People who are good at pvp don’t have a life or significant other. So original.

Welp someone just lost a QP game...

3 AntwortenBut what if a men with gf and prestigious job (and also sporty enough) will stomp lowskill scrubs in pvp? Do you like it more or it will destroy your self esteem?

Bearbeitet von MC_3_TTV: 2/13/2019 2:56:25 PM
anyone better than me is a sweaty no life loser
cry destiny (post year 1 d1 and taken king) is the most casual pvp shooter ever. the game is designed for even the worst bots to have a chance to get kills and do decent and yet you still cry for protection from anyone who has thumbs.

Dude Pvp went downhill really badly when they increased the heavy ammo.
-
Go play Crimson Doubles. It’s in there and honestly it feels as terrible as I thought it would.
