Luna/NF is 100% a Crutch Weapon
I’ll fight you on this.
It literally always come out when people are getting their asses handed to them. Then they miraculously pull a victory out of their ass and wave their banner thinking they’re the greatest shit in the universe.
You all know it’s true too. You’ve either experienced it or done it.
Inb4 it’s not the gun it’s the player.
You vs You in Crucible. One has Luna, one has Trust. Who wins?
All you need.
I don’t even care that it exists, just call it like it is, guys. It’s your crutch you use to help your injured ego when you’re getting beat.

This will only be for lunas and not nf (that should never be given out). An extremely long quest where the final step is to wait for the season to end and the reward is called the Moons Cry (like how claymore went to broadsword except with a bit of mockery in this name change) which is like lunas just with a different name and slightly worse stats. Does that satisfy everyone? To OP- change the trust to a sidearm, smg, or TLW and lunas loses now due to slower ttk. Or use something to out range it like a pulse, scout or Ace. I'm not sure why people act like it can't be beat maybe it is platform difference but on pc when I'm dueling another lunas player we both don't always get 3 taps especially if were both spamming. Most of the time if you crouch mid fight they miss their shot and lunas now acts as a poorly rolled trust. Also people say TLW and Ace aren't good counters (probably just platform differences again) but I find it really easy to stop lunas users with ace and last word. With all of these possible counters and out plays I don't see how you can't overcome someone using lunas. So I guess if your still losing to lunas you just need to get good. (sorry I just really wanted to be obnoxious and end it that way)

I've not got it, but will try for it. I think there are useful alternatives, which is why I'm glad Rng rolls are back. There's still much much more variety in Crucible now than there ever was in year 1. If I don't get it, at least I'll know that the meta will change, and it will be nerfed with all hand cannons.

then why don't you go out and get it, assuming you don't have it yet? that way you can be on a level playing field, if it really means that much to you. they are earned pinnacle crucible weapons, so yeah, they should be a little broken for the grind involved. honestly, this post just sounds salty that others have them and you don't.

Yeah they are good but not hard to outgun with Ace of Spades/TLW/Pulses. You have to have good movement and not be predictable so they cant hit the headshots. If the weapons were such a problem I wouldnt be able to compete....

They earned the weapon(Well, most of them) So why should they give two shits about what others think? They did the objectives others were too scared to do, or were unable to do due to bad teams or are generally a bad player in the crucible(Before people go crying that I think I'm better, nah, check my stats, I am generally shit.). It takes a lot to get both guns. So they have every right to pull it out and show it off in the game, and not worry about upsetting people who cannot outgun them.

You're having delusion of grandeur about your actual skill level and instead of admitting that you're actually not that good at the game, you instead point fingers at Lunas and NF while completely neglecting the fact that those same players would still ruin you with a full green loudout. Get better or go away.

Welcome to my world. 8 match this evening, not able to win a single one: 2-0 for us, NF and Luna and we loose (I play solo). Bungie talk with other companies, maybe you can learn how to develop a matchmaking that is not a completely crap.

3 AntwortenI’ll happily play you using a different gun. I [i]honestly[/i] think that Me vs. Me, WoS7 vs. LH, I would do better with WoS7. I got to 2100 using it and crapped all over Lunas users the entire way. It feels nicer to me and when I use a gun I like the feel of, I do better with it. Luna’s is a good gun, no argument there but you all need to calm down with this rhetoric.

1 AntwortenI have Luna’s Howl and I’m not gonna lie, it’s good, it’s really good but it’s not OP and it’s not a crutch. My friends and I had to sweat our asses off to get it. The grind sucked but afterwards we were all WAY better players. We learned our strengths and weaknesses as a team and I definitely got better with a hand cannon. Grab some friends and go get it. It’s not that hard getting to the rank, especially now at the end of the season. All the top players are already way above 2,000 so you won’t have to face them most likely (I haven’t touched the comp playlist this season, so I could be wrong).

1 AntwortenAlso, I don't know if you were really using the weapons I last see you using during PvP, but a scout rifle imo, isn't the best for pvp...unless you're using multi tool. then your shotgun, that ikelos one...thought it was nurfed a while back
