The aesthetics in the Destiny games thus far have been sub-par, but their might just be a reason as to why. In the Destiny universe the Traveler arrived and changed everything, including societal norms. Fashion would have undoubtedly changed alongside society. The aesthetic choices we have as a player don’t represent our current realty, rather it represents the altered future reality. Think back to the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s fashion and compare it to current fashion. Things change over time, and with the arrival of the traveler it’s not a far stretch to think fashion would also change. Thoughts?
