Not forgotten/Lunas howl is ruining crucible.

Pretty sure the damage is done, no one really playing atm, takes ages to get into a laggy lobby, games of 8 or 10 maybe a full lobby every 3 or so games. Feels like CoO all over again

No it’s the match making that is ruining crucible. There are ways to beat LH/NF the difference is when majority of the opposing fire team has one of them and you have none that make the difference. If you want to run a fire team of 3 or 4 you should have to wait longer to play so that match making can properly assign them to play other teams of 3 or 4. It’s not the guns people. It’s the Match Making.

I dispised this community because they have no control decency. We lost special ammo boxes because people would camp it and spam shotgun and fusions. We now have to fight each other over heavy thanks to the community whining about heavy. People who thinks it takes skill to shoot a gun are completely stupid. I have served in the army for 7yrs and shot every type of weopon and i was only 19 when o started and the class was only 5 mins. There is nothing skillful about guns its the tactics that are skillful. Handcannons and shotguns are sooooo rampant because the same retardid community thought auto rifles should take skill and be pillow launchers. Just put auto back to what the originally were or at least give the same obsurd damage pulses have. The scatter weopon have no stopping power with is why a dinky little pistol and a shotgun that can't even pierce 3 phone books are considered stronger than an assault rifle. The community is ruining crucible because civilians don't know anything about guns or tactics. Assault rifles are supposed to be the primary weopon of a typical soldier or insurgent yet in destiny its a shotgun and a revolver.I don't want the gun to go and i can't speak for everyone but i will say this. Be careful what you ask for you might just get it.

Pvp pinnacle weapons should be as accessible as pve pinnacle weapons. There is NO excuse for this, pinnacle weapons should not be so difficult that players are selling carries to get them, it can be challenging without excluding 90% of the player base.

1 AntwortenOn Console maybe, but on PC its all about Ace and TLW. NF is still strong on PC and can arguably be the best weapon in some situations, but Luna's SUCKS. Like it is basically unusable against even half decent players. The "Get kills with LH in Comp" quest step for NF is a real slog because Ace and now TLW almost always beat Luna's.

I highly doubt its getting nerfed or removed. But yes it is at least hurting crucible massively. Comp is already a horrible experience and I’ve been in it since last season. But regarding crucible overall and specifically quickplay, The problem is people who want to just have fun go to quickplay. That is why pinnacle weapons were introduced, because nobody wanted to play comp and they needed a carrot to get them in. So redrix claymore was added. If you wanted nonsweaty, fun games you played quickplay. But Luna’s and not forgotten are reserved for the already really good players. So now they do what they did before which is leave comp and play something fun. But now they have Uber strong weapons. The strong get stronger and now they pub stomp the player just looking for fun non comp games. And then quickplay is no longer fun and they stop playing altogether. Because now they have no fun place to play. They’ll get stomped in comp and stomp led in qp. That is the opposite of what a developer wants: people quitting the game. The mere existence of a weapon that’s stronger then all the others in the hands of only the best makes an already balanced challenged game unbalanced. I get why they added them but the unintended consequence is people will get frustrated and quit. I get it. I don’t have a solution.

They wont be nerfed. Also, have you noticed that Bungie never comments in these threads...ever? Get used to dealing with them or dont play pvp.

Bungie is incapable of anything approaching balance. I don't see this changing anytime soon.

6 AntwortenCrucible is certainly not enjoyable when that is all you are facing on a regular basis. I have no hatred to anyone that has got it. Good for them congrats they did. But the unbalance of the games when you constantly have to vs an entire team running them is a bad thing. While I have taken out people who do use the weapons those are few and far between its not all the time and its frustrating at times to play well because of it. For all the people that say to Get Good. It's a fine suggestion. Just remember not all of us play like yourselves (who own the weapon or are generally better players). Some of us enjoy a bit o PvP to finish weekly rewards and that sort of thing. If I don't need the power engrams from it I too wouldn't' play much Crucible at the moment to be honest. Even facing Clever Dragon and Wormwood wasn't this disheartening. And believe me as a person who's not big on PvP I play a fair bit of it to the best of my abilities.

11 AntwortenI must be in the Goldie locks zone when it comes to PvP because on average I only see Luna maybe 2 times out of all the games I play an average 4-8 games per night. Most of the times I do see it, I only die to it maybe 4 times a game. I swear Bygones melts my ass 100x more than that gun ever has. Now if you really wanna see a lot of Luna, play Comp. But it's funny, cause a lot of people say that they should lock Luna to only be usable in comp, but then those same players complain that all they see in comp is Luna.. Like, what?

I blame them making it 10x easier to get Pinnacle weapons, then that same pinnacle weapon is 10x better than the one that was 10x harder to get, and is among the least popular archetype of pulses. They listened to the dummies crying about how hard it was to get the reward. That's it. That's why. I like the competitive changes they made, mostly. But they made getting the gun too easy.

1 AntwortenI figure if they got a Luna they are much better than me anyway and will most likely still kick my arse. I’ll give em a faceful of explosive rounds anyway to at least make em work for it. Can’t hate on em for something I’m to lazy to try and get myself, but that’s just my opinion.

16 AntwortenThis is the perfect analogy :- We decide to have a 2 mile "fun race." No limits, everybody is put into the same division, the first to cross the line is the "winner." The 5 - 15 year olds will use their pushbikes/scooters, because that's what they have within their means. The 15+ year olds are welcome to drive their cars (if they own them and have a license.) They have put in enough "time" to earn a car, so go ahead and race away with that. Valentino Rossi will bring his 500cc superbike. He worked really hard to get it, and he's earned it. This! We accept that it's probably used by people who are quite skilled and what we should do is only let skilled people use underpants in pvp. At least that way other people will have a chance!
