Anyone else bored to death of D2?
Its like a bad relationship. The same boring ish over and over and over again. For what? It was fun the first 50 times you ran through. Now, it's old and stale.

But seriously. Half the loot in this game is plain garbage and the other half is mediocre at best. I was stoked when I got 1k Voices, till i figured out its really not that powerful. Malfeasance, cool concept, awesome looking, completely lackluster performance.
So that's the state of Destiny. Completely............lackluster.
I'm so bored of Destiny, I've gone back to playing Skyrim.

Edit: a list of other stuff that makes me sad cause Destiny.
Last Word- useless in PVE
Any forge weapon- farmable reskins of all the same archetypes we already had.
Breakneck- Auto rifles are underpowered. (Bad recoil on console)
Any handcannon- inconsistent with bad recoil (on console)
Bows- slow rate of fire prevents any type of practical use.

Did you experience “the great content drought” in d1? Worse than this. To be fair, if they hadn’t succumbed and lowered the forge requirements, there would still be grind to do... I’m not entirely sure what they can do. As much as I like to keep bungie accountable, there is a limit to how fast “interesting” content can be made. This is why they constantly push pvp, much easier to keep that interesting.

3 AntwortenYeah D2 gets boring pretty quickly. I myself am a player who enjoys grinding for cool stuff, but when your game is based entirely on simple, boring, repetitive and artificial grinding, it's a piece of crap game. I've stuck to Destiny for so long only because I like to grind and because I had people to play with, and that definitely makes the experience better. If I was a solo player, I'd have quit this game a whole lot earlier. I quit Destiny after getting a Nintendo Switch and getting reminded (again) what "fun" in videogames is. This has happened to me before with League of Legends, and that's a sad game to be compared to.

2 AntwortenPreordered Anthem and Division 2 as I really enjoyed the demos, so they’ll be taking up my time. D2 has run its course for now. I’ll be back for Jokers Wild, but if it’s anything like Black Armoury, it won’t keep me occupied for long. Quite interested in Rage 2 and Far Cry as well. Starting to get into apex legends too.

4 AntwortenAlways loved the way the game played. Always disliked the continual nerfing. Finally the adulteration to appease the weak got too deep under my skin and I left for a more rewarding pastime. So amazing how motion accuracy can be sought yet Bungie can seek the exact opposite in weaponry. TLDR: when a good gun in a shooter is no longer a bad thing, I will consider returning. Not breath holding...

6 AntwortenIt’s pretty disappointing that I’m both raids the pve meta is all Y1 weapons (Ikelos, Whisper, sleeper) Bungie promised us cooler and more powerful exotics and then underdelivered. 1K voices and Anarchy are straight poo poo... Don’t even get me started on the fact raid armor is absolutely useless

I played some BO3 zombies and monopoly last night instead of destiny.

I've also gone back to Skyrim because Destiny is losing it's charm and I don't want to watch as my favourite game becomes more grind the same and less "new ways to play". When they buff useless exotics I worked hard for and never use maybe it'll be fun again. I'm just going to see what's going on in the dreaming city every tuesday from here.

I've been thinking of taking a break from destiny. There's nothing wrong with that. I have red dead to finish. However, I've been having fun helping people get Luna's howl or the last word.
