Lot of threats are on the Horizon! Apex Legends, Anthem, Division and some other games (like Warframe, etc) are delivering fresh stuff to your target audience.
If you dont act fast now, D2 will be dead before spring!
You did get lots of good feedback from your community already. Most of them are easy fixes that would make the game more enjoyable. But you refuse to listen or work on it...
Here's a quick summary of what you should/can do in the next few weeks/month to save your playerbase.
1:
Remove the infusion cores! They are unnecessary and you know it. People have enough of limitations for gear and weapon set ups. Remove them, or make them cheaper, or more accessible.
2:
Factions! Just put them back in like we had in D1! Weekly rolls, lots of gear and god rolls to chase and players who can identify with someone/something.
3:
Forge fixes! Noone likes to fly to Ada for every little thing. She hates us anyway. If we once unlocked a frame, it should be unlocked for all future frames too. No more boring kills and semen for every frame please and no more flying back and fourth.
4:
Max level prime engrams need a chance for Exotics too. And/or Cores. Something usefull at least.
5:
Strike specific loot should be in all strikes, not just nightfalls.
6:
Triumph RNG NEEDS TO GO! NOW
7:
Glassneedles are needed for Exotics! I'm sick to have primary ammo finder on my exotics.
8:
edit: Totally forgot about this one: Make Year1 gear useful again! And weapons too.
9: Also, the collection needs to be unlocked. Let us get back random rolled weapons (and gear) we already found for some credit.
10:
Check your forums!
There are lots of little improvements you can make which wouldnt affect anyone negatively. Listen to your playerbase (not the PVP Crybabies though) and DO SOMETHING!
But please, dont focus on those annoying Nerf posts. Those are the smallest issues the game has right now...
Give us a reason to stay! Thx

1 Antwortendont you love how all the threads that give feedback on how to make the game better, get buried deep in the forums?

21 Antworten👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💯 Sadly you typed all that for nothing. Bungie doesn't care about your opinion. They only care about your money. When profits dropped hard we got forsaken. When profits were up, we got black armory. Stop. Giving. Bungie. Money. Just got my first W in Apex legends today. In 2 days I've had more fun than in 5 years of crucible. That was all I needed to know the current state of destiny. That and Luke Smith being named franchise director. My sides. Good luck guardians

It will die in 2 weeks, bro! Spring? 😂

5 AntwortenWhy would Bungie really do anything? Think about it, since D2 released there has been updates but they all have been minimal effort put into them updates. Things like taking over a year just to buff Scout rifles knowing they nerfed them prior to the game being released? I don't care what anyone says, that is some pure lazy nonsense and that is only 1 simple thing out of the Many things this company has been lazy with. Do you know why they're lazy?... It's because they know a lot of gamers will just except their BS so they they wont put any real effort into this game. Hell, they couldn't even add PvP maps, update any of the vendors, no story missions, no new strikes, barley added any loop Pool, and word os going around that factions are not coming back in 2019. If that is true? that's some lazy a** s*** right there.

3 AntwortenIt won't happen. They showed their hand already and it may as well be empty. Vote with your wallet, they aren't listening.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Dark Raven 2501: 2/7/2019 4:21:02 AM11: all quest should be removed from the game ( there should be only two ways to gain access to exotics .... 1 through grinding and 2 through direct purchase from Xur regardless if it involves micro-transactions or not 12: Xur should be given back his business so he can sell exotics 13: pve patrol should get a update at least once every six months. The quality of rewards needs improving 14: the vanguards and the crucible handler should be on the same page as the faction groups for building reputation 15: pvp should not be the main focus of this game and that bungie and all associated parties stop using pvp to promote this game or its content 16: put the campaign story missions back into the game and give players something that is worth while instead of these annual passes. I think if this could be achieved that things would start to look a lot better for people that play this game

How do you call losing 95% of your sources of revenue? Bungie died long time ago. We’re just seeing some blood spieling out of putrefying wounds.

D2? Bruh... coffin lid bout ta be shut dog!

Bearbeitet von Tengu: 2/7/2019 10:33:07 PMIts really sad. Anthem is looking at and paying attention to whats going on with bungie and Destiny more than Bungie is. Bioware is being more transparent and concrete than Bungie, not retconning their promises about microtransactions or whatever. And they already have a roadmap of content for the game FOR FREE that is more frequent and looks more promising than Destiny's ever will be.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von BraddyBo: 2/7/2019 11:49:11 AMNone of those are threats. Apex is a battle royale, anthem/division/warframe are all 3rd person without pvp. When a first person looter shooter with pvp comes out then you can put bungie on notice.

13 AntwortenNo they don't Thy need all hands on deck for D3 I get d2 still needs to be improved, but current engine and the way the game is setup is incredibly restrictive for the changes this game needs to truly be great
-
I agree but it will on the ears of the deaf.

4, 7, 8 and 9 are my favorite ideas in the universe.

Bearbeitet von name: 2/6/2019 11:22:53 AMthey wont go a extra mile with their efforts , but they will go a extra buck from your wallet with lootboxes and overpriced dlc ;)

bungie want destiny 2 die.
-
3 Antwortendude, destiny 2 is done. they've moved most of the staff to destiny 3 development with a scripted list of stuff remaining in destiny 2. they still bring updates yes, but this game is done... let it rest now...
-
If they didn't do it going from D1 to d2 what makes you think they are going to do it at mid game? Just do whatever u enjoy, I do my strikes and pvp fick light lvl and fick Gambit and the new lame raids( nobody talk about them)

this post cripples my soul

1 AntwortenDestiny might get wounded and bleed out even more of it's playerbase because of all the new competition, but it's not going to die any time soon over that. Really, the biggest threat to "kill" Destiny is going to come from Bungie itself if, post Activision split, it slows down the release of new content and sandbox changes to such a degree that even the faithful find it harder and harder to stomach. Not to make a pun, but Destiny is in charge of it's own destiny now. All the same, your points are extremely valid and represent many solid quality of life recommendations that would return some fun to this game. Bungie has already proven they're not interested in anything like that, though.

6 AntwortenApex isn't even good. It's a cookie cutter BR with overwatch influence. Sorry.
-
2 AntwortenLike and bump. Well written and thought out. Speaks volumes. Listen up, Bungie.
-
4 AntwortenHow is Apex legends a threat to Destiny?! Jesus Christ next your gonna say Undertale 3 is gonna "kill Destiny"
-
I don’t believe their engine is agile enough to keep up with upcoming releases. I don’t believe the game will “die” but it will be a rough year.
-
All those ideas are way too cool for Bungie, so - no, they will not happen.
-
If John Titor would have told them this before the game started the initial development stages we would still be at this exact point we are at now.
I don't believe in time travel
4 AntwortenApex Legends is a PVP only shooter, ie its NOT in competition with destiny, at least not like the other two. speaking of, anthem looks like it might be dead on arrival, or at best it will be division 1 all over again.... funny enough, division 2 might actually be the only threat here, but that will depend on its end-game, specifically if it can offer something as challenging, engaging, and over-all enjoyable as Destinys raids have been.
