I am all for a challenge but not everyone is a very good PVP player nor ever wants to be. I find the quest for the last word impossible. This applies to some other quests which are crucible specific as well. There has to be other options like a longer list of objectives to do outside of crucible just to give one example. I have given up on this quest specifically because I cant get higher than 12 percent before resetting to zero. People are taking me out with the last word already. Some people like myself have no interest in crucible. Please intervene with other options so I may have the same ability to get this rare and exotic weapons. Thanks for listening.

I believe in you. You can do it. Stop listening to what everyone tells you to have in your load out and just have fun. You’ll get there eventually. The quest is about making kills AND assist kills. Take that into account and look at that portion of the quest as a problem you need to and can solve: how do I keep myself alive more than I die? Be cautious. Don’t rush in. Stick with your team. Team fire. You’ll get there eventually.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Swarlley: 2/4/2019 9:59:21 PMHang on i got this: I am all for a challenge but not everyone does the raid nor wants to. I find the way to get 1000 voices impossible. This applies to some other exotics which are PVE specific as well. There has to be other options like a PVP equivalent. I have given up on this exotic specifically because I dont raid. People are using 1000 voices, but i cant. Some people like myself have no interest in raids. Please intervene with other options so I may have the same ability to get this rare and exotic weapons. Thanks for listening.

just be glad bungie didnt make it as hard as the year 1 thorn quest, which was getting 500 void pvp kills and death sets back progress
-
1) Last Word is a CRUCIBLE GUN. 2) You need a 0.5 KAD.... KILLS+ASSISTS/DEATH minimum to progress. If you can’t get that, then you really need to start getting better at this game.
-
Honestly I suck at PVP and am usually the first to complain about exotic quests sending us to the crucible but I managed this quest, it's honestly not that bad.
-
Def not gonna tell you “It’s easy, blah blah blah.” like some of the of the single cell amoebas here will do. The medals part of the Quest step if that’s your struggle, is requiring you to play a diff style to achieve them for it. Def not supposed to bum rush and not play the objective of the medal. One is for killing back the person who killed you and the other is for killing a player who killed your team mate. I’m pedestrian at PvP I have no delusions of being MLG at this shit so when I tell you it can be done by me then it most def can be done by you. Play conservative with a good pulse rifle and clean up kills. That’s what I did, I was working on the Redrix Broadsword while grinding out the medals for the step.
-
4 AntwortenSorry dude. Gotta disagree here. The challenges are not that difficult if you’re not rushing into danger. It’ll take a while, but with a scout/pulse you could literally just stand in back and pick at targets and get it with only assists. Mayhem will help with the medals. Only thing I didn’t like about the quest were the RNG factors for the heroic public event and the repetitive lost sector.
-
Well I guess we will see how Bungie feels about pvp quest steps, when we get the Thorn quest next month. Hopefully, they will time it with Mayhem again.

3 AntwortenYou're late to the party. People have stopped complaining and realized that they should just do the quest instead of whining about it.
-
If you dont play pvp, forget the quest completely. The gun is pvp based and is meh on pve
-
2 AntwortenI suck at PvP and got it done in a few games. It's not that hard
-
6 AntwortenIt's not worth it if you have no interest in crucible. The Last Word is useless in PVE - it's a crucible gun.
-
14 Antwortencouldn't agree more. The quest is specifically set up so new or not good players fail. Just remove the death component and let us progress slowly. I have to problem with losing 30, 40 even 50 matches to get the quest done, but with 8 matches and 1%, I will never get this quest step complete. Just will not happen. For premium content that players have to pay for, making it so only some of your paying player base can complete the quest is lame and drives players away from the annual pass. After black armory and this quest, there is no way I will ever get the annual pass again. I will take advantage of what I can and chock it up to wasted cash. The problem is that people like me with lots of entertainment money, who can easily afford the pass being turned off, is that Bungie is alienating the very player base they want to keep.

2 AntwortenIf you have no interest in pvp than why do you want a pvp centric weapon?
-
3 Antwortenif thats the case make the sleeper catalyst and acruis quest the same treatment
-
11 AntwortenTLW is too easy to get. It took me 4 matches so idk what the issue is for you. Rumble is the best playlist to do it in because less players they did give a mayhem route for terrible player though
-
i hate pvp. that said i only enjoy it in mayhem. so i grinded it out while it was here. maybe wait for it to come back .
-
I hate to be that guy, but I felt the opposite. I loved the pvp aspect and the pve grind almost killed me 😂
-
The problem with this quest is the horrible pvp part..played 5 games onlt to have in 4 games teammates quite or just stand in a corner the whole game while the other teams running luna,tlw..Yes its a pvp gun but make it so you do pve to fulfill quest so people dont have to rely on the shittiest pvp community this side of the COD community...Bungie is pathetic and so is their creativity when it comes to anything..this game is a complete bore now same shit every week..annual pass equals boring content rereleased exotics
-
4 AntwortenEh PvP wasn't too bad- honestly way easier than all the complaints let on Now the last step was a pain- 66 attempts but I got it
-
3 AntwortenThe crucible is nothing short of a FN nightmare. I am with law giver because to many quests rely on the crucible which compared to the pve is a small part of the overall game. It seems to me that bungie make quests for crucible just to give the pvp players new victims. The word victim is not a word used lightly, because that is how i feel as a player. I am not pvp so to make quests that revolve around pvp is just bad. My reason is that by putting quests like that up means people will try them, bungie are not stupid, and do not give a shit that 70% of players on that quest will fluctuate between 1 and 30%, to get you down to zero, they only need to put you in a match with one of their best crucible killers. Players who make the kill counter rev like a cars accelerator, and the car is a F1. When they say we are breaking the team up to find a better match, what they mean is to get another shit hot pvp player to knock your back to zero.
-
I can’t even try it. Annual pass can kiss my ass.
-
3 AntwortenThe same mechanic was also in D1. Only in D1, assists didnt count. Consider yourself fortunate. PS...stop rushing... do all range loadout and stay back. You will get ur kills

What i did is sat down on Saturday for an hour or two, put on Mayhem, equipped Bygones and just killed until i was done. I went from 20 to 60% in one match with all the shield throwing i did.

3 AntwortenLet's assume Bungie does NOT change the quest. In that case I'd recommend: 1) Use a weapon you're consistent with (hand cannons are obviously a good one). If you have something like Trust (the legendary cannon from Gambit), that's an easy one to use. 2) ALWAYS stay with your teammates. Assists count as kills, so there's no need to be the one to land the final blow; just help out, and concentrate on staying alive. 3) Don't be first into an area. This goes with #2; if you rush in you're more likely to be killed; if your teammate rushes in first, they'll be the ones taking damage first, so you can help them kill your enemies. I'm typically someone who just rushes the enemy, because deaths don't really matter (I'm not in PvP for bragging rights, I'm here to get loot), and it took a couple games to adjust to a more careful playstyle. Once I did, though, I was consistently gaining on the quest. Just be cautious, and don't get left behind.

3 AntwortenTrust me, if I did, anyone can. Now I’m at the end and can’t kill all three hive if my real #ucking life depended on it. Just rage quit it. What does it even matter. It’ll just be vaulted a r taken away by Bungie again.
