Nova Warp is ruined in PvE
I'm all about adjusting it in pvp, because its very powerful, but it is very bad in pve now. The super lasts for a very short time, on top of that the speed of the super is so slow you dont reach all the enemies in time. Before it was good at add clear and decent at damage, now it no good at both. Please fix this to make the super more relevant in pve
Edit: Some people are missing the point of using NW in pve. It isnt excelling greatly in single target dps or add clear. The subclass (at least for me) was a great well rounded class. Allowing me to be decent at both add clear at single target damage and add clear.

1 AntwortenThis nerf just proves that all Bungie cares about is streamers and crucibabies. There was absolutely no reason to nerf it in pve, but lazy devs be lazy and only know how to do global nerfs. I just unlocked the new void subclass on the warlock I recently made and this crap can't even kill a lost sector boss now. I just want to complete the subclass perks and then I'll forget it even exists, because it is totally useless in pve.

Too much charge time coupled with a shortened active super time = no longer a roaming super.

8 AntwortenBro these people didn’t play the same game I did I guess. I’m assuming they used it once, and it wasn’t what they wanted so they never touched it again. Nova Warp was great for pve. Amazing actually. You could clear ads super quickly. Don’t even get me started on how quick you could fill the map with motes in gambit, then switch to well for boss. I do think well is better because... it’s well. But Nova warp was amazing. I haven’t used it since it’s nerf, but assuming this guy made a forum post about it, they probably messed it all ip like they tend to do with nerfs and buffs. They can never get it right.

1 AntwortenEveryone saying “why were you even using nova warp in PvE” have clearly never heard of dark matter + nezeracs sin. The amount of grenade, melee, class ability, and super energy you got back is unparalleled, not to mention you got health back as well. IMO that setup completely outclasses both stormcaller and bottom tree dawnblade in PvE.

Completely agree! It’s absolutely useless in PvE now. What a waste of a fun Super! Please buff it back to the way it was in PvE only Bungie!

1 AntwortenI wonder what happened to Luke Smith saying they made things easier for the sandbox to help keep PvP nerfs separate from PvE. I guess this company likes to talk a lot but their actions a lot of the time show otherwise. The nerfing in D1 is why I stopped playing D1 for a while. I started playing ROI when Bungie moved over to D2 and I was like, OMG it's over! The nerf happy team finally stop nerfing every single thing in the game. Only to come to find out how they literally destroyed Truth and other weapons like invective etc... I dealt with it but I was really happy the nerfing was over. So here it is again knowing D2 is is dumb down and they want to make things worse then they're in PvE because of PvP. Oh well, I guess some things will never change.

15 AntwortenI’m all for warp buff but who the hell runs warp in pve over literally every other warlock super? Warp is hands down the worst of the 3 roamers, worst of the boss dps and no other super can even compare to well of radiance. So why use warp in the first place in pve?

I stopped in laying a while back cause I got angry at this game after playing since D1 Alpha and the constant needs I saw coming. Nova Warp was in a great place for PvE but PvP ruined it and now people that cried need have no one to blame but themselves and Bungie. This is atrocious and I’m still wondering why they keep saying little tweaks but then over clock the crap of them and basically destroy the super.

I think alot of the posts are missing the point, it's not about if another class was better or should be used it's about having multiple options and classes to run, now we just have one less option due to PvP. I used it in PvE a lot because it worked with a build I had really well, now it's toss. They annihilated it, when it just needed toning down slightly.

My voidlock PvE build is ruined; now my only viable option is well of radiance (for my PvE play style).

Nova Warp is the Sunbreaker of D2. The first super that actually made hunters shit themselves. Now they Garbo and hunters rule the game again :)

But Now it's fair like the others and y'all won't stop complaining. I'm a Warlock, but I main Arc and sure I wish I had a little more defense while casting. But you know which super actually needs Buffed? Titan Bubble because it's currently useless in Crucible and PvE.

It was great for vault in last wish... don't know if it's still good anymore though. Probably not with how short it lasts.
