last word feedback from a casual player
dear bungie ..
last week with the patch i started the last word quest....
as i reached the pvp step where i have to kill players in pvp i needed 5 days to manage to get the 100% full
and it was hell with this progress loss, and cheating players in pvp.i died more often in 1 game than i can could kill others
they come arround a corner and know when to shoot, where u stay, where u hide.where u run.and not only hunters.. i got in matchmaking players with 88 kills and an efficenzy of 89.3% and above ....
i got headshots from across the map through walls and so on.
( yes i made a lot of screenshots to proof all this )
than finaly after 5 days i got the 100% ....so today i came along the quest step where i have to kill enkarr in a shootout
so far till now, since iam trying since more than 4 hours now .
i died 155 times.and yet i cant manage to kill the 2nd enkarr at the encounter with 2 of them..
the hitbox for the weapon i have to shoot is by far too small, he shoots to fast, and i have 0 time to aim after all. the first shot is ok i can aim a bit more till i pick up the weapon, but than.. no chance for me....
and i tryed all what cross my mind.
smooth aim, faster, slower mouse speed, more less DPI. crossair color.. and so on.. all

this is frustrating, and shit. i reached a point where a game defiantly piss me off, and demotivates me so much, that i want to delete it from my ssd...
is this fun , the fun u want us to have ? i needed 1 week to come to this quest step. and now i face an unsolvable problem for me at my end.
for me this quest is over .thnx for making me waisting so much time on a quest what should make fun, and send me through hell , and give me this final step i cant solve .
well fun is something else...

Bearbeitet von l Cadi l: 2/3/2019 7:30:27 AMIf people can do it on console without aim assist you should be fine on pc, practice your flicks and tune your sensitivity, go on a patrol to the edz and practice flicking to trees, if you constantly fall short of your target, increase the sensitivity, if you constantly overshoot it then lower it, being able to properly control your aim will help you in pvp in the future as well. Edit: also, if you watch the order they spawn in, that is the order you need to shoot them, do you will know in advance where your next shot will be.

I just finished the quest about an hour ago...dude I'm 50 years old, had a stroke, and had carpel tunnel surgery very recently and I did the damn thing no problem. I've read people complain about this quest and my only thought is....how freaking bad are you if this decrepit old man can do it. :///

The hardest part is discovering the Crystal glitch and doing all three duals and getting nothing. The rest of the quest is easy, so I don't know what the problem is. I take it you never did the Thorn bounty in year 1?

The biggest problem I had with the enkaar mission was actually getting the waypoint to go past the destroyed crystal. Once I got to enkaar it was one and done. Don't aim at where he's holding his gun, aim just right of it, where there's a gap between his arm and body. And stand as far back in the circle as possible so you don't have to move your aim as much for the double and triple fights.

Unless u were in the comp playlist I doubt u ran into an actual cheaters. The last step is easy. Shoot them in the order they spawn in their gun hand. Not that hard

I feel you! I have the same problem! I come to the last encounters, kill 2 and get killed my self by the third. It's so frustrating to have to start from the beginning. It's not fun........

While I had little trouble with the rest of the quest, I feel your pain on the shootout. Around 60 attempts for me to finally get through all 3 phases.... The mission was a cool concept, but very poorly executed and Way too unforgiving....

3 AntwortenHere is a tip on the 3 boss part. Out of the 3 with half health will be the one to shoot last, dont worry about him till you shoot him last. The 2 that you will shoot before the half health boss will be staggered. The one that is farther away with full health you will shoot first, the closer one with full health will be 2nd, the 3rd with full health will be last to shoot

Fun fact destiny isn’t for casuals. It’s Grindy and after the disaster that was destiny 2 launch, destiny will never cater to casuals. Don’t like it go somewhere else but don’t ruin my game because you want easy hand outs.

you are supported bro. PvP in this game is horrible garbage, no idea how i, a mmo, pve player should do this quest, i needed 3 days to get the quest from cayde. Can get the weapon because i am forced to ply pvp against players faaaarr better in this game. I walk around a corner get oneshot, i fight a enemy, oneshot, i ult, counterult. It really looks like everyone you fight is a extremly skilled bro that aim for your head while you jump, dash, roll or tp. PvP is horribly unbalanced in here and absolut 0 fun for a player like me, it should give other ways to farm quests like this, please bungie wake up!

I hear you, every match I get is either in progress 6 vs 2 or I get matched with people that run straight at the enemy over and over... havnt felt like trying to finish the PVP side yet.

They need to introduce alternative routes for quest steps. I mean like Gambit exists! During that step, it should be either do the Crucible path or Get 25 Hand Cannon Final Blows on Guardians in the Gambit path. Same goes for stuff like Izanagi's Burden as well with Shattered Throne as a requirement, which can have an alternative route such as Defeat the Malfeasence boss either in Gambit or Blind Well Tier 4 during Full Curse week.
