My friends and I first game in a comp match we’re beating this team three to zero I was unfortunately on top reason why I say that because someone on the other team d-dosed me out the match. I was never lagging or anything prior to that match and I think the solution to being d-dosed in competitive should be the same way that if a person lags out they have the ability to join back in the same match. Bungie this is a upcoming problem because other people in the community grinding comp have been suffering from this as well please look into this. No one who is going on a good streak should be hit by a d-dose from people who just suck at the game.

2 AntwortenIt’s not likely you were DoS’ed unless your entire internet also was down. It can happen where an attack ends quickly enough you won’t be sent to the title screen, but being sent to orbit for a random error code is much more common.
-
11 AntwortenSo wait, you were "ddosed" but were returned to orbit? Thats not a ddos... it truely scares me that people can just claim anything on here and people rally behind it...

Such a tough issue, because aside from banning these cheaters after the fact, there's no way to prevent this issue. Happens with most pvp games. I've done a bit of comp and never seen it. But it's obviously affecting enough people.

11 AntwortenD-Dosse attacks are actually a Federal Crime! Can't believe that these AssClowns would risk jail time for a video game!

1 AntwortenDdos them back.

So is ethiopian internet speeds.

1 AntwortenPlease google what ddos means before you go posting about it. Same policy should apply for cooking, driving, and sex. 😘

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von GozerTheGozerian: 2/1/2019 11:08:39 PMI'd prefer it if we called it booting. Booting and ddos/dos are similar but they are definitely not the same thing. Most of what goes on in destiny pvp is booting. It's like a miniddos/dos. That's the best way I can explain it.

Get a VPN.

4 AntwortenJust don't play crucible. They already see that the last word quest isn't driving up the pvp numbers like they hoped. Let crucible die.

If there Ddosing I don’t think they can really chose who to boot my guy

This was not ddos. This was an error that was most likely caused by jitter. Hardwire your ps to your router. Then set an static ip on your ps. I am guessing you are using the factory 192.168.xxx so set it to something that your router will not auto assign. ( like 192.168.979 ) Then go to your router and DMZ the ip you set on your ps and prioritize it. Because D2 uses p2p banwith is not as important as a lack of jitter. This is why Wi-Fi is not optimal. Because Wi-Fi has jitter that is caused by interference. Hope this helps.

Season of the booter.

1 AntwortenI have played hundreds of comp games and have never been ddos'd, hell I haven't been ddos'd since league play in BO2
-
I was angry the other day because someone murdered me because I stubbed my toe.
-
Ive been ddossed only once and it was on siege and it wasnt so simple as being removed from a match. You just lagged out
-
Yeah it is pretty crazy you can't join back in comp matches. Makes no sense.

It was random, all pullers on the market right now can't pull gamertags and IPs. Just bad luck.

D2 is not for comp pvp. Reasons: biggest reason p2p structure(lag, players use lag switch for example) 2nd pvp is an unbalanced disaster, really how much skill needed to use shotgun(dust rock),telesto,jötunn, wavesplitter, wardcliff coil not much and its boring to face this "skilled" players. 3rd 30fps(if you play on console) Overwatch or Siege is way better for playing comp multiplayer. Destiny is primary PVE game and the pvp is only extra.
