Getting a Coffee in the US - "Hi, I'll have a full fat skinny half-caff mocha latte made from coffee beans grown exclusively by central american pygmies and watered by the tears of endangered rhinoceros please!"
Getting a Coffee in the UK "Hello love, Coffee please. Milk, 1 sugar. Ta very much!"
Getting a cup of Tea in the USA - "Hi, heres your mug of hot water thats now too cold to properly brew this shitty teabag we're giving you seperately. Want milk? Sucks to be you!"
Getting a cup of Tea in England - "Hello love, I'll have a cuppa please, milk, 2 sugars. Ta very much!" *and so begins a brief but very precise ritual which, if gotten wrong, results in the covert expulsion of the British failure who will live abroad in shame and disgust. Usually in Spain with the retired criminals*

2 AntwortenI live in the US and the correct process is put water on to almost a boil, grind fresh coffee beans, pour grounds into French press. Once kettle starts to chirp take water off and pour JUST enough to cover all the grounds, stir, let sit for 10 seconds to allow grounds to bloom, pour rest of water in, stir, let steep for 3-4:30 minutes, place press on top and slowly press down taking 30 seconds to reach the bottom, pour coffee into favorite mug and say phuq your shitty coffee everywhere that isn’t my house. Phuq your shit right off.
