Where are those people now when there is a exotic plaguing the crucible that is way more powerful than worm husk ever was, its called one eyed mask. lets compare the two shall we:
Wormhusk:
- to activate perk you must shadestep
- it gave back small portion of health and started recovery to full health
One eyed mask:
= activate perk by getting shot or killing someone who shot at you
= if someone damages you you get to see exactly where there are anywhere on the map for a long time
= if you win a gunfight not only does it start your health regeneration it gives you a OVERSHIELD
= and to top everything off you get a damage boost
So to all the people who cried about worm husk i can't believe you aren't crying one eyed mask. And if there is anyone who thinks worm husk pre "nerf" was better lets discuss because i believe one eyed mask is the most power armor exotic to ever be introduced into pvp.

Worm Husk imo is still better. Its more controlled healing then gotta get a kill. OEM doesnt last as long either. Going against a full team of bhopping hunters with wormhusk is 10x worse than OEM

23 AntwortenHow to counter one-eyed mask. Win the gunfight.
-
1 AntwortenI've never used my OEM, but I don't see the big deal. I get tagged with the "marked for vengeance" thing all the time and it doesn't really affect anything. Sometimes they win the fight, sometimes I do. Sounds like salty Hunter mains to me.
-
1 AntwortenOne-Eyed Mask is balanced since it is for Titans. Worm Husk was not balanced since it was for Hunters. Bungie Loves Titans. They have been the favored class since D1.
-
44 Antworteni also love how everyone is saying it isn't that OP, yet every titan in pvp is using it.
-
Wallhacks for being damaged alone is a good enough perk worthy of being an exotic. They took all of the "it would be cool if" suggestions and didnt bother trimming it down. Just slap them on one exotic. Lol
-
They already nerfed Ursas into the ground. If they nerf OEM, they better nerf shards and Gwisin vest into the ground as well. Right now, the only reason to use titans is OEM (let's leave titan skating out of this for now). Either buff titans and nerf OEM or leave OEM alone. I was a previous titan main, but after using hunters for a few weeks in comp I have to say I'll probably end up maining hunter from now on. They are just so much easier to use, more effective, and more fun. Hopefully, these subclass changes will address a few issues.

Wormhusk was given to everyone who completed the story and required 0 skill. You just did a tumble and got your health back. With the one eyed mask you a actually have to kill someone. It's easier to kill that person, but you still have to perform an act that requires some skill. Honestly, I think wormhusk should revert and so should other nerfed exotics. IMO exotics should be game changers
-
Its plenty balanced, the overshield takes 2 more bullets to take down and the damage buff is less than 1 stack of rampage. After the kill the perk can not be reapplied until the 7 sec cooldown, If someone starts shooting you with lunas or blast furnace and you can't fall back immediately you are 100% dead anyway. The exotic is underwhelming when used and it works a lot better for me in pve for survivability. also wormhusk ruined pvp more. every hunter got it, OEM is rare because of the exotic drop rate.

1 AntwortenMakes me wanna put OEM on just to rub some salt into some hunter wounds. 1. OEM requires a kill to work. Massive difference from mashing a dodge button every 25 seconds. One of these is a guarantee, the other isn't. I wonder which? 2. Wormhusk was also a part of the old Teamshot meta, with slow kill times. Guess what accentuated that problem and made it worse? 3. The tracking time that marks you is ironically the masks biggest weakness. All a typical hunter has to do trigger it and disengage (you know, that running away thing your class is oh soo good at?). Doing so would either force the Titan to tunnel vision you, or be robbed of the masks benefits for the next 20 secs. Benefits I won't have versus the 3 to 5 other players on your team. I've seen some calls for nerfing this time to be shorter, which again with the irony, would actually buff the mask since most gunfights end in seconds anyway. I actually hope Bungie is dumb enough to do that. 4. To many players get scared when they get tagged, and think the mask is already affecting them mid gunfight. Chill out. Nothing happens until after I kill you. 5. Even if they un-nerfed Wormhusk, you hunters would all be too busy spamming blade barrage with Shards anyway.

Bearbeitet von Mr Pottr: 1/21/2019 8:00:47 PMBack in the day when you'd play your friends it was in front of one TV on split screen. If you "screen peeked" you were a cheater. Is that not what OEM lets titans do? If you're playing smart it's not that hard to evade OEM. HOWEVER, it gets harder when the number of enemies using them on the opposing team increases. Comp against 4 OEM titans is absurd, and QP with 3 or more gets cheesy. Whats the solution? I don't think team composition is as strategized as it should be in PVP. Which is stupid because D2 has always promoted a "team effort". Like how team shotting was so important in Y1. I think Bungie should limit the amount of duplicate exotics and classes allowed on each team in all PVP game modes. But at least in the competitive playlist to compromise. This would make teams have to create builds and compliment each other. BUFF AEONS lol but for real tho.

I main a titan (but play hunter and warlock as well) and I can tell you that One Eyed Mask does need a nerf. I.E. get rid of the overshield it gives. I'm fine with the health regen when you get a kill but the overshield that doesn't go away is just plain ridiculous.
-
Think about foetracer — just a way shittier version of OEM. If they’re not going to touch OEM, Foetracer should grant all the same benefits.
-
6 AntwortenIts because everyone who cried about wormhusk was a titan. Now they have there own exotic and dont want it nerfed. The hypocrisy is strong in the cruci babies.

Bearbeitet von Hells Assailent: 1/21/2019 5:49:45 PMWish I ha this One eyed Mask titan problem. I ca't cry like a bad player about it because I don't. Then again I also had no problem with Worm Husk, then again I am not a cry baby whiner asking Bungie to cater the game so only I win.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von OneTrueMandalor: 1/21/2019 2:51:33 AMWhat everyone seems to be forgetting is that the Wormhusk meta was back when the game still had the dual-primary weapon system. That’s why it was OP. Now, there’s a whole lot more variety in weapon slots, and stronger weapons like grenade launchers, snipers, shotguns, and Telesto, see a lot more use nowadays. But because people wanted to nerf it to the ground, in comes Forsaken and Wormhusk has lost any viability it had left. But if you take the exotic and bring it back up to pre-nerf level, and stick it in post-Forsaken PVP, I can guarantee you that it be effective, but won’t be OP anymore, especially with OEM running rampant. Besides, the healing regen perk always stopped working once the Hunter got hit, and it’s never been hard to hit a Hunter mid-dodge since the game first launched since apparently Bungie thought it was a good idea to give them a class ability that can’t even perform it’s primary function.
-
Shade step is the fastest charging class ability, and with worm husk you don’t need a kill. OEM needs someone to shoot at you and just hope you don’t get team shooter because the player base still finds holding hands fun. If you survive the team shooting you get wall hacks but by the time you catch up to that person he/she will run away or lead you into the enemy team and get clapped. But if that doesn’t happen than it’s op.
-
6 AntwortenIt doesnt just give you an overshield... it grants full health instantly upon kill AND an overshield. If it was just an overshield it wouldn't be an issue. Think how D1 sun singer melee overshield worked; it was only the shield, no health. Anyway though.
-
Shhh.... I just FINALLY got one eyed mask two days ago.
-
I think Wormhusk wasn’t as bad especially because everybody had access to it.
-
6 AntwortenBearbeitet von cycofreak3: 1/21/2019 10:41:02 AMI think wormhusk was stupid and I think OEM is just as bad if not worse. Health plus heals for a dodge, that's free health when everyone else has to wait. OEM, kill someone after taking as little as 1 damage and free health regen, overshields that stops people from preventing that regen and a damage boost that can still win fights, idc what anyone says. Both are really stupid.
-
Remove enhancement cores from Infusion.
-
Yeah wormhusk got a nerf for just health regeneration within a couple months lol I don’t understand how oem hasn’t been touched with perks like bonus damage if you get hit, health regen after that free kill, and a damn overshield after? Lmao sounds perfectly balanced and not as op as wormhusk 🤔
-
3 AntwortenIt is not balanced. After spending a good amount of time with it myself i can say with confidence that it had no business being in this game.
-
28 AntwortenA would prefer to keep one eyed mask as is and bring wormhusk back to full glory, especially since the ttk has changed since then
-
2 AntwortenLet us have OEM. Hunters have blade barrage and spectral blades. Warlocks have nova warp and dawn blade. Everyone’s happy 😃
