I don't know if anyone really cares what I think but here goes.
I understand the idea of a parkour style challenge like in the ascendant challenge in Chamber of Starlight... But, why do you need to make us restart the thing every time we fall to our death?
I'm just giving my opinion, but games that force you to re-do the same thing over, and over, and over again are not fun and it's really annoying when the powerful gear we need to progress is tied behind this kind of thing.
I can play crucible or gambit over and over again because it's an ongoing challenge, but these ascendant challenges really make me want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. I wouldn't even go there if it wasn't for the draw of trying to get every last piece of powerful gear I can so I can do some forges easy.
If you are going to make the game a hamster wheel, at least make it fun.
For anyone who enjoys the parkour and dying repeatedly, sorry, this is just my opinion.

4 AntwortenI'm guessing you never use Extinguish on NFs. I've had my fair share of having to do-over a couple of the challenges before because of mistakes, but that's part of what make them challenges and it helps make you better. It's not much different than dying in a darkness zone or at any boss and having to reset the whole encounter. No different than raid encounters either.
