4 AntwortenI doubt it. I can't see them making the third forge take longer than the final one. But speaking of new forge, I noticed that the Cabal on Mercury were dropping the white pyramidal quest/patrol items that did nothing when I picked them up. I have to wonder if that's not going to be where the final forge quest starts. (even though I think the forge itself is on Earth based on the clean up isle five triumph)

2 AntwortenCompleting Niobe labs unlocks the forge. The steps are on YouTube I believe. You’re gonna need a bounty that drops from turning in daily ada1 bounties. If you have one already then complete it but do not turn it in.

So that means it will be a time gated 3 week long grindy quest that has RNG parts followed by a short adventure to unlock the 4th Forge that way the 4th forge will be unlocked the week before the Exotic quest for the last word drops which will be another grindy time gated quest spread out over 3 weeks taking us half way through Feburary leaving only a few weeks till the next DLC drops. Streamers wanted regular spread out content drops and we got it! they can now happily make their 10min videos talking about the subpar content like its the best thing since sliced bread.

7 AntwortenI'm not worried about the quest, I'm more worried about it being a copy and paste of the other 3 that are the exact same thing. I know people don't like me posting things like this, but who the hell thought making the forge the way they did was a good idea? I do not find an event that is spread out between 2 planets and maybe 3 with this 4th one coming out, doing the same thing in all of them "fun". Where is the sense of imagination in creating content these days?

1 AntwortenIt'll be the longest quest we've ever seen to date. I wouldn't be surprised either. I also won't be surprised when they time gate the Last Word quest after already time gating it until the 29th of January.

I hope its nice and long, but only if its unique.. no more doing boring heroic events.. only reason they did that is to make heroic events something to do, since no one does them.. no more recycled "go do this thing over and over again, then go talk to ada, only to go and do that same thing over and over again, then do a strike with no changes at all, or any context to what you are doing."

so want it to be true but the 3 forge unlocks progressively got more long winded, so i can see this one be anything but short.

Bungie we need more PvE only quest.....but we really just want you to hand us the gear because PvE only quest are long and boring. The only thing wrong with the quest was the lack of knowledge as to why we were doing those stupid task. That quest was no different than running stupid fetch quest in any other game. I just wish it was an account wide unlock, but I've wanted that for the story we had to play through since the franchise launched.

Lets have a vote on how many times we will visit/revisit Ada-1 for the 4th Forge quest... 1-3? 4-7? 8-12? 12-15? 16+

I'd like a long quest that's fun and not painful. No steps involving heroic public events or killing multiple rare enemies. Make up some half ass boss fight and some storylines atleast, even if it goes nowhere.

Step 1 - visit Ada Step 2 - give Ada all of your glimmer Step 3 - give Activision all of your money Step 4 - give Bungie your soul Step 5 - quit your job / drop out of school Step 6 - move to your parents basement Step 7 - visit Ada to unlock the No Life Forge Step 8 - visit Bungie forums and cry about PVP Step 9 - die in your parents basement from old age with no money or education. But at least you died happy because you finally got 1k Voices

I'd prefer an eight-step quest that is FUN over a "meh" quest that has five steps, with two being "return to Ada-1". I really hope Niobe Labs has the former.

4 AntwortenLogging on last night and seeing the sniper frame was disappointing... Getting the hammerhead from the machine gun frame was really disappointing. Knowing there's probably not more than one sniper, and machine gun made me not even bother to do any more .
