The moment you realise
That burning maul, a hammer 3 times the size of top or bottom tree does 3 times less damage per hit. The spin does 65 per hit. A standard melee, with no super, does 100?
With that logic, bungie, next super can titan's have lots of really small hammers that can be thrown really fast. Ooh and how about they track? And give it high armour because, well, it's a titan, they're supposed to be tough! And... oh wait that's blade barrage...
Burning maul needs some love bungie.

Well ok, with all buffs, biotic enhancement and three times burning flames that number JUMPS making it the highest damaging super in the game, but with all the set up it's hardly worth it

8 AntwortenYes, I like the Burning Maul, a lot, but rarely use it because of this. The description of the super says: Summon a flaming maul and crush enemies with the force of a quake. Bungie forgot to add the force of a quake into that super, they just did the summoning part.

It’s rubbish massive buffs needed. It looks cool as hell but lacks the dps numbers. Let me tornado spin the map like those damn hunter spectral blades, with broken mile long hit registration.

9 AntwortenWarlocks as well. Titans and Pixies 🧚♂️ can both shut them down easily. Bungo loves their Pixies though, so it’s unlikely that Titans or Warlocks will ever get the love that they get.

Top-tree hammers are the only hammers worth using.

1 AntwortenBurning Maul looks like a failed attempt at mimicking a whirlwind Barbarian from Diablo III, a game they clearly used several times for inspiration by pretty much directly copying from it.

Yes I'm a hunter main and this super really should have something more like very high damage sliding upper cut or something along those lines. I know the heavy attack is p good but the light attack hits like a wet noodle

2 Antwortenim a hunter main, and i agree that burning maul is pretty pathetic. now, the one that splits off into 2 smaller hammers? is capable of one-shotting most roaming supers, so i would like that to be toned down a hair. because i love really drawn out super battles

6 AntwortenSame with golden gun. A normal hunter does low damage . And a hunter with a chicken helmet does 6x the damage 😂 Seriously though...give nighthawk a colonel ornament.
