Oh yes yes let us pair random low level players into matches against sweaty comp players using LH and NF in QP that is such a smart idea. Oh wait that is already happening and players hate it.

Bearbeitet von Ghostfire239: 1/1/2019 7:09:54 AMWe also tried having SBMM in regular crucible and guess what? People hated that too. SBMM would just end up making matchmaking take ages and even worse connection than we already have. SBMM in QP would probably punish players the more skilled they are. The more skilled the player is, the longer matchmaking takes, the less quality in connection, and constant Comp level sweat matches. I’m not that good so I wouldn’t be affected but I still wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone.

The connection is bungie's problem, they could and should have had dedicated servers years ago, and should have before they made competitive PvP. SBMM was a thing that primarily streamers jumped up and down about however plenty of the community disliked it too, but streamers get to use the title (given by nobody) of "voices of the community" to influence how the game works as bungie listen to them as if they share the same interest as everyone else. Now, without SBMM the game is arguably worse since as its been mentioned, Luna's howl and NF run rampant in PvP. I know it's QP and all but if QP is supposed to be played for fun, how is it fun to be someone who doesn't have Luna's or NF because you don't want to have to play competitive for a pinnacle weapon? Have something else to earn from comp, cosmetics primarily would be a good idea (taking a page from overwatch). Streamers and other sweaties have something to earn and nobody has to go into QP worrying about some pinnacle weapons that only a small percentage get as well as the rampant lag. Giving powerful weapons to people for earning them sounds good but -blam!-s with the balance between fun and not fun. This state of PvP is widely referred to as "not fun" to say the least.
