On console, the Lunas Howl is ruining the game

I dont consider myself bad, but average. Ive been a casual player for crucible for a long time. I remember year one, when the graviton lance was the only weapon that anybody ever used. Skill aside, i enjoyed this game because me and my friends both liked to play it. We were always a healthy mix of skilled, average, and subpar players who enjoyed the occasional win but, moreover, we enjoyed each others company. Then Bungie introduces the Lunas Howl. The Lunas Howl is a hand cannon, of the highest fire rate in its class, which has the ability to end a gunfight in 3 shots, or potentially fewer, so long as its wielder has two working thumbs. This is when things started to go downhill. Instead of simply conversing, we turned to complaining. This gun, this crutch weapon, makes it impossible for the casual player to enjoy crucible due to it being incredibly effective and poisoning its victim with thought that he may never be skilled enough to obtain it. Therefore, none of us saw any point in playing. We knew the outcome of each match we played. It would always be the player with the LH who would end up at the top of the leaderboards and annihilate the rest of the lobby. Some might say,"the LH has terrible range" and while this may be true, shotguns have even worse range and yet they are considered by many to be the most obnoxious weapons in crucible right now. This applies to the Lunas howl. Its range, while subpar, is compensated by its apparent lack of recoil and outstanding damage, which brings me to my next point. The Lunas Howl breaks its frame. Any other precision hand cannon will kill another player in 4 headshots. Lunas Howl will always kill in three headshots. "Why does this matter so much? After all, we have perks like kill clip and rampage that buff damage for other weapons right?". This is also true, but these perks require the wielder to kill an enemy before activating it. For rampage, you kill an enemy to recieve a small damage buff that stacks with each kill you get. For kill clip, you must reload after a kill to receive a larger buff that is still, somehow, lesser than magnificent howl. For magnificent howl, you only need to land 2 headshots consecutively (which wouldnt be so bad if it didnt fire so fast) to recieve a damage buff that is literally 200% its normal damage. Magnificent howl does not have the same balance mechanics that rampage and kill clip have and its blantanly broken. My friends and i dont play crucible together anymore. They moved on to other, better games, ones where the developers actually listen to this sort of feedback. Face it Bungie, you -blam!-ed up. You gave steroids and cocaine to the people who can already run faster than everyone else, and now theres no point in playing for people who arent so skilled as those who have this weapon. Let it be known that citing my statistics, or simply saying "get good" will not change the reality of the way this weapon performs in crucible.
also, fix your matchmaking.
