Forge steps so boring I actually just stopped playing.
I just couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel when I realized I had to go through these quest steps for all three characters.

Had more fun in orbit than doing these bastard forges. If they consider this a horde mode then they need to read up.

Considering this is the point of this annual pass these weapons feel pretty meh. They should at least look really, really cool, with glowing red lights or something. They're not bad. They're good. but they're not interesting enough to be the main focal point of this DLC. Black armory? Meh. I'll use my other weapons.

3 AntwortenI'm just unlocking forges on one character, doing 3 toons is too much in my opinion as i've got family, life stuff etc to do. Way too time consuming.

There is no way in hell I would do them in all 3 characters, hell I'm having serious problems forcing myself to unlock the third one as it is so tedious and mind-numbing.

Agree there seems to be a lot of make work. I have all three ignited on my Hunter but not sure will bother with my other two characters.

1 AntwortenDude, I havnt even finished the 2nd forge quest on 1 character yet, just lost interest. None of the forge weapons outshine anything we already have 🤷♂️

I’m half way through the forge quest on my Titan and just quit doing it. The steps are terribly boring. I believe this may be the worst quest line so far. I’m not looking forward to the final forge quest that’s for sure. It’s probably going to be some 30-50 step quest that is even worse.

Like -blam!- am I sitting around waiting for public events again. I’ve don’t it once already, now just make it so I have to do the missions/lost sectors to unlock it so I can get back to more interesting stuff. I’ll jump on for some QP now and then I suppose. Good job I just got RDR2 and Just Cause 4 for Christmas though.

Yeah I haven't felt the urge to unlock the newest forge either. This "grind" that they've incorporated with the new content isn't the right kind of grind to keep players engaged with the content. It's too bad they haven't found the perfect balance yet.

I did it on all three to increase my chances at that exotic bow. 14 powerful frames later and nothing but 12 very average weapons and 2 OK pulses. I have a sneaking suspicion a lot of people are over the forge already. I'm finding it difficult to find people using match-making.

20 AntwortenThe forge unlock has caused me to hit my burnout point and I will not be playing as much anymore cause of it. That is just a stupid repeat of a grind not to mention the repeats to get a roll on a gun you want.

Bungie, how about having lore pages only drop on wins to stop encouraging AFK'ers?
