[b]An Option To Auto-Dismantle Blues[/b] – A long time ago Destiny did this with greens, now it’s time to do it with blues because filling up with them after a certain level is pointless busywork and annoyingly sends to stuff to the postmaster frequently. [b]Quests Should Continue Tracking Through Steps[/b] – Quest tracking is good, quest tracking where the tracker disappears every single time you start a new quest step is bad. Makes no sense. [b]Fix The Hold X UI Bug[/b] – This happens when you try to apply a shader or an ornament or bake cookies, the bar will fill then just…not work like half the time. Not good. [b]Make Instant Summon Sparrow Default[/b] – This is just how sparrows should be summoned, we should not have to have it on either our ghost or our sparrow and it would free up those must-have perks to be something more interesting. [b]Have The Option To Apply A Shader To Everything At Once[/b] – If we can preview the application of a shader on everything we own, we should be able to just hit a button and…apply it to everything rather than manually doing it 5-8 times on each thing, especially now that shaders cost nothing to apply. [b]Fewer Ada Visits For Forge Stuff[/b] – Do I really need to explain why it’s beyond irritating to have to run back and forth to Ada every two seconds for quests and Forge stuff? Picking up bounties or frames, fine. Showing her every little piece of crap I find every other quest step, not fine. [b]A Use For Max Level Prime Engrams[/b] – Once you hit max level Prime Engrams now become just like any other powerful engrams, and I think they should at least spawn items that dismantle into 3+ masterwork cores, or they’re guaranteed to have a mod in them, or something like that. [b]Remove Gunsmith Telemetries[/b] – Seriously, why do these exist? [b]Slot Duplicate Protection[/b] – I’m not saying every drop should be the thing you have in your lowest power slot. But I am saying you should not be getting five pieces of powerful chest armor in a row stunting your progress entirely through dispiriting RNG. [b]More Mod Components For Dismantling[/b] – Mod components are sold now, but you should also get more than a single one for dismantling a mod you don’t want. Try three. Or five. [b]More Inventory Space For Shaders[/b] – Okay, you have finally made the vault big enough, now please make shader storage actually be able to hold all the shaders that exist. I’m tired of deleting a new stack every time I find a new shader I want to try. [b]Display Power Level On Characters[/b] – I don’t know if this is to prevent power level bullying or what, but listing everyone at level 30 or 50 is just not useful, and we should able to see what actual power level other people are. We can in our fireteams, we can upon inspection, so why can’t we in the world? While you’re at it, show what subclasses people are too somehow with a little icon or something. [b]Put The Strike-Specific Loot In The Playlist Pool[/b] – While I am glad that strike-specific loot is back, it should also drop in the regular strike playlist which is otherwise fully useless at this point. High Nightfall scores should get you a better chance, but it should at least be possible to farm in normal strikes as well. [b]Unlock Transmat Effects Like Ghost Projections[/b] – It is bizarre there are two different systems in place for what appears to be the exact same kind of thing. [b]Have Xur Sell Forsaken Exotics At Last[/b] – Look, just press the button already. It’s been three months since Forsaken. It’s about to be 2019. Xur happening to sell one Forsaken exotic every couple weeks or so is not going to kill the exotic hunt. It’s time. [b]Fix The Bug Where You Can’t Leave Matchmaking[/b] – I thought the “you can’t back out of matchmaking” bug was supposed to be fixed but I still run into it all the time. [b]Have Ability To Load Directly Into Forges[/b] – While I understand why we can’t load directly into Blind Well or Escalation Protocol because of the way those are instanced, I don’t understand why we can’t just instantly queue into Forges without having to sparrow around for three minutes every time we come back from Ada. [b]Remove Ghost Fragments[/b] – Ghost fragments were fine when Forsaken launched, but having them as a barrier to any of Spider’s bounties, especially the enhancement core ones, feels like a level of busywork that just doesn’t need to exist. Three months later we don’t need to be farming Tangled Shore patrols and public events for 40 minutes to get a few bounties. [b]More Dreaming City Fast Travel Points[/b] – Why is there only one? Seriously, I don’t understand. [b]Label Public Events[/b] – Public events should show what event is about to spawn there so you don’t waste five minutes waiting to see which one it is (yes, sometimes you can tell by where they spawn, but not always). [b]Re-Roll System For Exotic Armor[/b] – Exotic drops are still so rare you will almost never get enough copies of one piece of armor to re-roll it. Charge a bunch of shards or glimmer or whatever and let use re-roll exotic armor. [b]Collect Bounties From Orbit Or The App Or Both[/b] – Again, more busywork that doesn’t need to exist, and is just a whole lot of load screens and pointless tower time. If we can turn bounties in from orbit, we should be able to collect them there as well. Or better yet, they just automatically appear every day/week and we don’t have to do anything. The glimmer cost is so negligible it doesn’t even matter. [b]Take RNG Elements Out Of Titles[/b] – Titles should be about the epic achievements you’ve done in a part of the game, not getting lucky because on your second meatball kill you got the Gambit ship while someone else is on their 70th without it. [b]Put Eververse Armor In The Loot Pool[/b] – I wrote an entire article about this before but more or less Destiny always needs more new gear to grind for and sticking armor in Eververse where you’ll never get more than one or two copies of a piece to hunt for rolls is pointless and not worth grinding for or paying for. But it would be value added content in the game itself. [b]Have Ghosts Show Modifiers By Default[/b] – I really hate that tracked quests and heroic modifiers have to be on two separate screens when you bring up your ghost. There has to be a way to put both on one screen. [b]Make A North Indicator On The Compass[/b] – If Bungie has a reason for this not to exist, I genuinely have no idea what it would be. [b]For The Love Of God Buff Scout Rifles[/b] – I said I wasn’t going to talk about nerfs or buffs, but seriously, how long have Scout Rifles been terrible at this point? I have a whole collection I’m dying to use but they’re ridiculously underpowered compared to any other weapon archetype.     • Buff ammo drop rates in the Forge (and pretty much everywhere else too)... Or bring back ammo synths. Once upon a time yellow bar Adds pretty much guaranteed a heavy brick... Now, I can do a forge or other activity and not one single solitary heavy brick will drop. Pretty bad when you need it for substantial DPS.

          • Fixing this stuff would be a start, but there’s a lot of core balance and leveling/economy design and balance problems that aren’t addressed, along with the massive gut punch of year 1 gear being made irrelevant. I don’t think Bungie can win back departed players without addressing the points I listed. Small QoL fixes don’t save the game at this point.

          • I'd also love to see an Avoid Player option so you don't get matched with afk players, full stacks of teams, cheaters etc. Honestly I loathe crucible with how craptier the connections are, if I can avoid players that aren't taking damage, then good. I report the hell out of them but that does nothing since Bungo doesn't respond to the report system.

            • Great but at this point quality of life changes should not be there focus it should be fixing crucible matchmaking and making the crucible solo friendly, fixing the horrible exotic drop rates, and major fixes. Because they can do all of that shit and Comp pvp will still suck ass and make me play blackout, fortnite, red dead, watch netflix, and pray cyberpunk 2077 gets launched in the near future.

              • I've done enough scripting across various engines to know that some things ARE a simple fix whether that be to a single line or script. I'm going to guess every location has something along the lines of: enable_sparrowuse_true or false I don't see how something like this could be any more complicated for enabling the use of a sparrow at a location. I'll be shocked if Bungie ISN'T using the same blam script language for Destiny as they did with Halo. As for the rest of the points, couldn't agree more. Too bad nothing will be done. I posted a while ago about a dozen bugs which have never even been addressed so I guess its just a waste of time really.

                  • Only one I'm gonna comment about; the apply button "bug" is not Bungie's fault, it's your controller because of stick drift.

                      Don't forget about the much neglected matchmaking system... it's the main reason people don't want to play destiny. If only they had started with dedicated servers since D1 Edit: I guess this would also go on the *major fixes* category oops sorry :/ not sorry :(

                      • Earning Weapon Telemetries is one of the few things left that I enjoy about D2. Equip a Ghost with “Banshee’s Favorite” perk, Equip an Energy Primary, and just Patrol. Go for some Lost Sector bosses. Join some Pub Events when they pop up. Enjoy the investment. Don’t remove them. Just make them do what the description says they do: Let us modify Weapons with them. Example: [spoiler]Had a pretty sweet Hand Cannon drop. Mag option and 2 Traits are exactly what I was looking for. Only thing that’s off about it are the sights. And that is one of the most important parts of making a HC feel “right”. Let me use those telemetries to reroll the Sights for a Steadyhand or a Crossfire. Or the alternative is to grind out the one specific Lost Sector for another few months until I get all 5 options to line up miraculously again. Got a freaking gnarly ‘Retold Tale’. EXCEPT for the Ballistic Barrel Options. Smallbore is great. Rifled/ or Smoothbore would have made for a 5/5 perfect roll. Or, if that’s too much power in the player’s hand, then let players reroll the two Traits so the “Hunt” for a solid performing weapon involves finding the right combo of sights/ballistic/barrel/string options, magazine/battery/arrow/drum options, and MW options. Leave the Traits up to player’s choice to fit their unique playstyle. Either way, players would have some agency in working towards min/max-ing and tailoring how they play. That’s awesome![/spoiler] But, am I in the wrong place to give feedback? Do I need to make my own Thread or should I take it up with a Twitch Streamer or Forbes Journalist?

I would at the very least start with the simple stuff: Loading screens - why can’t I go through each wing of the tower without hitting a loading screen. Why can’t I go through a heroic mission/strike/adventure/nightfall without hitting one? Loading screen times - I thought the loading screen times was addressed and to be shortened to under a minute? It seems like time must be slower in Washington or wherever Bungie is, because this game still takes a while to load up.

                                • I'm gonna have to point this out again, but while all of these suggestions are great and all. They would lower the average necessary playtime that it tales for the average player to get to where they want to be in Destiny 2. Yes, that what we, the players want. But BUNGiE only cares to add new things or update old things in Destiny when it extends that extra playtime. You can expect the live team that fixed Destiny up right to fix Destiny 2 up when Destiny 3 is hitting those final stages of development and BUNGiE stop giving a damn about the people playing this game, cause the new hotness will be ready to drop soon.

                                  • These are spot on, I would just add matchmaking solo protection. Not to say ONLY solos face solos all the time, but no more solos vs full stacks. If solo players can fill slots in stacked games, fine. But that's it. Otherwise, solo players should only be facing solo or smaller stacks.

                                  • Make the farm more useful, add snow there during Dawning like last year, add glimmer/vault cap, remove ‘same element’ challenge from strikes, don’t make players leave the menu when landing, severely reduce load times on PS4, stop being incompetent buffoons that don’t know how to program anything
