Just like how d2 was supposed to have a low amount of pre-orders?
English
-
Forsaken had a very low amount of pre-orders and continues to struggle with its numbers. The changes they made with Forsake destroyed the player base they had.
-
But it still sold extremely well.
-
Hmm Activision says differently
-
Dude, Activision is the same company that said half a billion dollars is not enough money. BO4 made 500 million in it's first three weeks or something and Activision called it dissapointing.
-
Because they are a greedy company.
-
Go read the numbers why do you think Activision is pushing for more micro transactions because Forsaken in under selling. You really shouldn't comment when you have no idea what you are talking about.
-
I think activision thinks it’s underselling because activision is very greedy.
-
No that is not how business works. They have a performance goal they have to meet for their investors based upon a financial obligation algorithym for return on investment. Activision projects a profit margin for their investors and they are under selling based upon those results. This also puts any future projects like Destiny 3 in jeapordy when they can not raise enough investment capitol to make a AAA title based upon shrinking demand for a title. The jist is that unless Destiny 2 does something drastic to increase their customer base Activision cannot justify allowing another AAA title to be made when their is only a 1.3 million player base. AAA titles require a user base in the tens of millions not a single million.
-
Are you honestly trying to tell me that activision isn’t greedy and 1.3 million active players isn’t good? -blam!- off, please.
-
Yes I am. Muted.
-
How childish of you...
-
That’s sort of what I said, and he blocked me.
